I received the Harness to Booster car seat as part of the stellar product testing panel. I tested it with my 5 1/2 year old as he was previously sitting in a Pioneer which is probably an older model of this. It looked pretty much the same, but the new fabric seems way better. It's advertised as washable, but I haven't had the need to remove it to wash. The things I like most about the car seat are: 1) the easily adjustable head rest (that the shoulder straps are connected to) that made finding the right height super easy. It's also nice if you think you'd be using it interchangeably between kids, because it can make it fit a shorter or taller kid so quickly; 2) the easy install, since I already owned a similar car seat I was familiar with the installation process. There's no trying to push your hand through a tunnel to get the strap across, you just lift some seat panels up and slide the seat belt in; 3) the built-in cup holders are nice, they're a part of the frame so it doesn't stick out and are a good size to fit a big water bottle; 4) the arm rests are a nice feature for older kids. My kid started to miss his arm rests in his travel car seat and I think it's because his arms are getting longer and wants to rest his elbows on something. Some of the smaller details that I appreciated were that the car seat can sit up straight on its own so when you're unpacking it and waiting to put it in the car it doesn't just fall on the floor; there's a loop on the anchor strap to tie up the excess strap; and it's not too heavy. Now on to some of the things I didn't like so much, which weren't many. First is the size, it felt a little wide to me. The pieces outside the head rest flare out, taking up more space in the car. I have two kids in front-facing car seats so that empty middle seat is really narrow. Second, the shoulder strap pads seem pretty thin. Third, and this is probably a rare situation, there's an elastic piece on the crotch flap/cushion that came undone so it slipped off the buckle and I'll have to sew it back on. This happened probably 3 days after use, an easy fix, but something you wouldn't want to do after such a short time. Fourth, the recline is not that much of a recline. My kids head will fall to the side head rest and then forward and bob around after he falls asleep. Overall, I thought it was a great car seat and had both a 5 and 2 year old fighting to sit in, so that says something. If I could I would give it a 4.5.

I would only trust one booster seat but now I have this one as well. The Harness to booster seat is a bit slimmer and can fit one more car seat for the next future baby that is coming. Plus my kid adjust well with the booster seat and the installation is so simple.

Having 5 year old twins, a toddler and a baby has allowed me to be able own a variety of car seats. Thankfully, the Stellar Product Testing Panel, sent us our latest Britax Grow with you Harness-2-Booster Car Seat. Being familiar with the Britax brand made it easy to install. Much easier than other brands. I did have to fully adjust the straps to fit our toddler, which wasn't very easy but not too difficult. The color works well for either boys or girls. Our toddler loved having the 2 cup holders because now he was in a seat like his older sisters and can use one for his drink and the other for his toys. Unfortunately, we haven't been driving around too much (thanks COVID) so I don't know how our child would do on a longer drive. I like that the safety features for this car seat meet the highest expectations without making it a big bulky car seat. I would definitely recommend the Harness-2-Booster Car Seat for all families with toddlers. You will have this car seat for many years to come thanks to it's ability to grow with your child.

I received this car seat free in exchange for my honest review by the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I love the look of this car seat, it's simplistic and sleek looking. I hated installation, you would think over time one would get better at this. I had to read, then re read the instructions, google YouTube videos, then attempt to do the best I could in my own and was pouring sweat by the end but got it done. The car seat has a steel frame which you can feel in weight when you pick it up but I like the added safety feature. My kids enjoy cup holders and we go on long car trips so that was a must on any car seat I would look for. I thought my daughter would dislike the car seat the first time I was adjusting it to fit her (easier than I thought it would be) but she preferred it over her prior one and said she was very comfortable. That is confirmation enough for me to have it replace our old one indefinitely.

The Grow With You Harness-2-Booster car seat is a good, but not my favorite, option for a convertible seat for a child who has outgrown their previous seat. I will tell you about the seat, things we liked, and things that we think could have been done better. Starting with things we liked, it is an easily adjustable car seat as far as height of the headrest and harness belts, with one button easily making adjustments and clicking into place easily. The harness is also easily tightened and loosened without issue. I liked that the tether was more of a V shape coming from either side of the seat, rather than the straight belt coming from the middle that I am used to. Seems like it would keep the seat a little more stable, but I don't actually know. The seat installation was fairly straightforward, but I did have to try it twice to get it tight enough at the belt path. The other harness to booster seat we have is much easier to get right the first time. This car seat does have high safety ratings, which is of course the most important thing when purchasing a car seat of any kind for your child. My daughter, who is newly 5, said that this seat is comfortable, and she likes that there are 4 spaces in the cupholder area: two for cups, and two for toys or snacks. She filled them with "important" things of course. I like the all black fabric, as it blends inwell with my car seats. Now for the things I didn't like as much. This seat seems to be a little light on the padding and doesn't seem like it would be as comfortable for long rides as our other seat. The cover also seems like it would be hard to get off in the event you needed to clean it. The round pad around the crotch buckle seemed like a good idea, but it doesn't stay on at all and I'm constantly having to fish it off the car floor and put it back on the belt. The main thing that I don't like is the head rest. It is loud; the headrest moves around a bit when you drive, and it makes this really annoying foam-squeaking noise. It is annoying for the child, and really annoying for the driver. I can't believe this wasn't something that they noticed in testing. You can physically wiggle it around when it is extended slightly which doesn't seem right, but apparently it is. Overall the Grow With You Harness-2-Booster is a good seat. It looks nice, has extra cupholder space, and an easy to use harness. However, I wouldn't get this again over the other harness to booster we already have. While I always base my purchase of car seats first on safety, it is always nice to find a car seat that not only has great safety features but also has other perks. That is why I was really excited to try this car seat when it was sent to me from the Stellar Product Safety Panel. I was impressed by the steel frame, the five-point harness and the 2 layer side impact protection (I could even see how strong the side area where my son's head is in the seat), but I also love the fact that this was super easy to install, has four!! cup and snack holders (which is a God send for when we are trying to eat on the go) and two reclining positions. The top even extends so that I do not have to keep buying a new car seat every year as my two year old grows (like I did with my first child.) It also looks really sleek in my car. My two year old really likes it and loves putting his snacks and drink in the cup holders. I would definitely recommend this for parents looking for a car seat they can buy and keep as their child grows!

I moved my daughter out of her convertible seat into this booster, and wanted to love it. There are a lot of really great points to the booster, but it's also not my favorite. What I loved is the lightweight and ease of installation. The seat has a narrow footprint and was able to fit in my second row bench seat next to an infant seat. I loved that! It's really easy to install and the padding moves easily so you can find the proper track. My daughter also loved the features and the padded armrests. The straps were long enough to fit her comfortably, and they adjusted easily. The seat does have some very specific regulations about how it fits with head rests. Luckily it worked in my car, but I could see how it might not work in vehicles with larger headrests- they would have to be removed. Overall, this is a great and easy seat to use in probably any vehicle. It also has Latch or strap installation, which is always a plus. What I didn't love. My daughter just didn't seem super comfortable in it. You can recline or leave it straight, so we tried both, and preferred recline. I think it's just a little less padded than other seats she's used to. It also was not extremely easy to get the padding back to a flat/normal layout once installing with the car belt. I would still recommend this seat, however, despite the few negative things I found while using it. For the safety, ease of installation, and features, it is well designed. There are just a few things I would change. You can't go wrong with this brand, and the straps were easy to adjust, and for me, that is the biggest selling point (no crooked straps or one side getting longer than the other). Though the anchor was harder to navigate than I would have thought!! I was given this Harness to Booster Seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

When I first received the Grow With You Harness-2-Booster Car Seat, I wasn't really sure how I was going to like it. I had only ever had seats for my child that had lock offs and just seemed to have more all around protection for her, but she was quickly getting too tall for her current seat so I thought this would be a great seat to try out. Although I found installation a little difficult (I will address that later), the seat overall has been great for my daughter. She is comfortable in it, has plenty of room and she loves having arm rests and cup holders now! I mentioned above about the installation being kind of difficult. I have only ever had seats with some sort of lock off on the seat itself as well as a belt guide, which made installing and getting the seat snug in the car easy, so not having any sort of lock off or clear guide for the belt, I found, made the install a little hard. I did have to drive my knee into the seat to ensure it was nice and tight. Once I got the seat in and tight, it stayed tight and I haven't had to make any adjustments. The only other thing I found with the seat is I always have to make sure my child's butt was all the way back in the seat so that I could get a tight fit on the harness. The seat is a little deep so it was just something to get used to. The Grow With You Harness-2-Booster Car Seat is amazing! and let me tell you why, I was actively in the car seat market since purchasing our first vehicle i realized how important car seat safety and installation is! I love the look of this car seat very modern looking and not an eyesore. The installation process and adjustments for my child were very easy. It features Industrial strength steel frame reinforces the seat structure to help keep it stabilized. The car seat does not budge! The steel does add weight to it but i love that, makes me feel safe that my child will be inside something sturdy and not flimsy. Another great feature is the 9-position, quick-adjust harness & headrest move together using one hand for the proper fit as your child grows! This car seat can be used for a long time and i can use it with my other children! all i have to do is adjust it to their needs and bam we are good to go! Okay, so my 2 year old is in LOVE with this car seat. Literally she cried when I had to take her out of it lol. We got it from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and it arrived so quickly! It's such a money saver because it literally turns into a booster when my girl gets old enough! So easy to install and safe because it's a 5 point harness! I am so grateful for it!

This Grow with you booster is very durable. When I first picked up the box that it was delivered in, I was surprised by how heavy it was. As I inspected it closer, I was impressed by how durable and nice it looked. It didn't feel cheap at all. I like that it has the 5 point harness belt for more safety measures. The seat is adjustable for more comfort. It also has an headrest. The padding is very soft and removable for easy washing. The built in armrests is a great addition. After inspecting the booster and reading the instructions I installed it into my car. It was fairly easy to install and made sure it was done properly. The seat itself is slim and did not take up too much space in my sedan. I had my daughter try it out and she really likes it. She likes the armrest because her last one did not have one. I'm overall very happy with this new booster!

I started using the Britax grow with you click tight harness to booster back in February 2020. My 3-year-old and I were both so excited to try the Britax Grow With You Harness-2-Booster Car Seat through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This seat is amazing! I have never had any issues with Britax brand products, and this seat is no exception. I hated our previous car seat because it was so bulky, so hard to install, no extra options (cupholders), and no adjustment features as she continues to grow. With all that in mind, I was so happy to try this car seat and I love it! Below are my top reasons for loving this product: 1- Safety!! - This has a five-point harness, which is very important to me. It is easy to buckle her in and according to my 3-year-old, it is really comfortable (no pinching or uncomfortable straps). 2- Versatility- this seat can grow with her because it has a booster option, which will definitely help financially when we can continue to use this as she grows. 3- Easy to install- compared to other car seats we have used previously; this seat is so easy to install. We were starting to look for a new car seat for our five year old when I was given the Britax Grow With You Harness-2-Booster Car Seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It is a nice-looking car seat. The fabric feels sturdy and easy to clean, super important for a seat meant to last years. Excited, we headed out to the van. We used the shoulder strap to install. I would have preferred using our van's latch system, but while the over-the-seat latch was included, there was not a strap to use for the latches by the lap belt. The area to guide the belt through us clearly narked and fairly easy to thread. The seat feels secure. The headrest is easy to adjust. Like other systems, press the button on top and pull up I had some difficulty adjusting the fastener between the legs. We needed to move it to the next bigger slot. Had I read the manual befrore installing, it would have been easier. Read the manual before installing! However, I now know how to undo the shoulder straps from the base. Adjusting the straps to the child is like other systems. My child's favorite part of the seat are the two cup holders. I like the reinforced back U also like the basic instructions for use on the sides of the base (english & spanish). Here's to many years of use!

I was so excited to get to try out this car seat because my daughter is at the age where she's outgrowing the convertible seat, but not yet big enough for a booster. I love that it will be able to grow with her when she reaches that point and I won't have to buy another car seat! It was easy to install (seatbelt and tether attachment); however, I would have preferred to have a latch connector rather than the seatbelt (just my personal preference). Even still, this seat gets high marks for safety, so I feel comfortable using it for my daughter. It was also easy to adjust and I love the double cup holder with space for snacks too. I was given this harness booster to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Packaging/ box was cool. Easy to open and not overpackaged. Seat itself is simple but attractive. We installed in our 3rd row for our 5.5 year old using the seatbelt method as there are no latches in our 3rd row. Installation was relatively straightforward - we set up with the 3 point harness instead of the seatbelt as it seemed like it would be difficult for our daughter to reach down and clip the seatbelt in herself. This may be more of a flaw in the setup of our vehicle but exists regardless (chevy tahoe). For positives, our daughter is very comfortable in the seat and it seems quite sturdy. She loves the cup and snack holders. As we have it set up, it is easy for her to get in and out of the seat without assistance. The only other negative is the seat squeaks. It's not too noticeable with music on or other kids screaming, but if it is quiet in the car, you definitely notice the squeak of the seat with every turn.

I received the Britax Grow With You harness-2-booster seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have been looking for a new booster seat for my almost 6 year old. He has just about outgrown his other Britax car seat. So I have been checking out what booster seats are on the market. I was thrilled to receive the Grow With You harness-2-booster seat as I had already done some research on this model. We have used Britax car seats for years and trust the brand and safety they offer. My husband installed the car seat in about 10 minutes. The instructions were fairly easy to follow. We're used to the click tight seats so we had a bit of a learning curve. We installed it using the seatbelt installation since my son is over the weight limit for the LATCH system. We are also using the harness feature for now. My son loves all the room the seat offers compared to his old seat. His favorite part are the arm rests and cup holders. He can have his snacks with him in his chair too since they have a holder as well. I love the feature of being able to take the cover off to clean it without having to take the whole seat out. Whoever came up with that feature needs a raise. Kids are messy. We also love how adjustable the seat is. The 9-position, quick-adjust harness & headrest is a life saver. It makes it super easy to find the right setting. The overall size is great as it isn't too bulky. We have it installed with another car seat in the back of our mini van. The dark color is nice so the seat doesn't start looking dingy. The arm rests are super easy to wipe down with a disinfecting wipe since they are plastic. Another great feature since kids hands a disgusting. The fabric itself is super soft and nice for those naps they say they don't want or need. My only issue so far is with the chest clip. I'm not sure if the one on our seat is just defective, but it's really hard to get on and off. That being said Britax has great customer service and is sending out a replacement. So hopefully that will fix the issue we were having. All in all we love Britax and so far have been loving this new booster seat. I would definitely recommend Britax Grow With You harness-2-booster seat to anyone looking for an upgrade. I received this seat as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My 5 year old (nearly 50 lbs, petite) was previously using a bulky convertible seat that did not have many bells or whistles. This seat is heavy, but really easy to install, which was my favorite feature. Let's get real - it's us mamas usually doing the installing - and this seat was easy enough that I'm sure my husband could install it quickly, too. I like that the fabric is easy to remove in the event we need to wash it. Also, like that it offers 5 point harness protection which feels extra safe. My daughter liked the head support as it was very comfortable for her to rest her head and take a nap if needed. My mother usually sits in the backseat with the kids and she felt the harness was easy to release even with her mild arthritis. The fabric was cool and comfortable, even for early Texas heat. I think the two cup holders are a nice bonus as my daughter could place her thermos there and my mom could place a drink or even a snack if needed. The only con would be that the seat is still very heavy; however, it feels incredible safe and secure and was so easy to adjust for a perfect fit. Can't wait to make good use of this for many years to come!

The Grow with you car seat from Britax is a remarkable new forward facing harness or booster seat for small children with big kid attitude. My 3.5 year old absolutely loves this seat because it makes him feel more like his older siblings look when he's riding in it, but it's made to fit him and I don't have to sacrifice on safety ratings to give him the Captain's Seat of his dreams. It starts out at a minimum of 25lbs and 34 inches and he has plenty of room to grow into this seat. My 5.5 year old also comfortably fits in this seat as either a harness restraint system or a booster, those overlap for her height and weight but the design of this seat makes it so she's still comfortable riding safely in a harness. My 8 year old can also safely and comfortably use this seat in Booster mode. All three kids lauded the extra room, liked the built in double cup holders and loved the position of sitting up so that they could easily see what was around them without craning or leaning unsafely out of the seat. As a parent, I loved how quick and simple it was to not only adjust (one handed!), but also to install. The user guide was simple and clear to follow making it very easy to set up and test out. My favorite feature of the seat however, is the material and how easy it it to wipe down and clean. Within the first 10 minutes of the first trip out in it, we not only had muddy footprints on it, but one of the kids wiped yogurt on it as well. No big deal, a quick wipe with water and gentle cleanser spot cleaning did the trick to remove both dirt and yogurt, we let it air dry in the sun and you couldn't even tell there had been a mess! The only major draw back of this seat is that it only fit in one of our vehicles. As long as you only need space for one or two car seats or you have a third row in your SUV this car seat is a dream. I received the Grow with You Harness-2-Booster car seat at the most perfect time through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We prematurely moved my 5 year old out of a booster that was causing more problems than good but we knew we needed to keep him safe in the car. When this seat/booster arrived we were afraid my 5 yo would fight us about moving back to a booster but he was actually very excited to have a new seat all his own that was comfy and had cup holders! He loved that he could sit in the booster without the harness and use the seat belt like his big brother. The seat safely and comfortably secures my son. I feel so much better with him using this booster and plan to use the harness feature with my 3 yo when the time comes. That being said I did have a difficult time figuring out how to secure the seat and move the harness out of the way given the instructional manual. I have used many seats that have been easier and more intuitive to install. I love the ability to adjust the height of the seat to fit many ages but it didn't move as smoothly as I would have liked. I also love how well this seat fits in our very small third row. There is plenty of leg room for my son when he uses this seat. I would recommend this seat if you plan to keep it in one car but maybe not if you plan to transfer it from car to car often.

My 5 year old is loving his new Grow With You Harness-2-Booster Car Seat! He says it's "super cool" and very comfy and is stoked about the 4 built in cup holders. He can buckle himself in so easily and it couldn't be easier to install and adjust. It is easy to clean, too. 5 stars for this one! There are both pros and cons to this car seat. Pros: Britax is a trusted brand, body of the seat seems sturdy and well made, wide comfy seating, multiple cup holders, headrest can be adjusted with a touch of a button instead of needing to rethread the straps, taller headrest allows for longer harness use, easy to use buckles for both me and my child. Cons: this car seat is on the wider side (I can fit three in a row with a narrow rear facing seat and an infant bucket seat in a large SUV, but otherwise I think it would be difficult if you are trying to seat three in a row in a smaller car or with other average width seats), while installation was simple using the seatbelt method there is still slight side to side movement (I prefer the security of clicktight models), the headrest is loose and flimsy and the foam inside constantly squeaks while driving whether my child is in it or not. The last two cons are considerable flaws in my opinion and make a good car seat just average, which is why I took off 2 stars. I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

I love this booster as it is super safe and secure for my little ones as they grow into not so little ones. It has fantastic safety features including an impact absorbing base, 2 layers of side impact protection, and a steel frame. It's also practical and functional with plenty big cup holders on both sides and additional snack or toy trays next to the cup holders. My daughter is tall for her age and found it to be comfy and the back is high enough to accommodate more growth. It's very easy to adjust the height of the back by just squeezing and then pulling up on the top handle. It also reclines a bit for added comfort. Not as much as a convertible car seat, but enough to help with car naps. The booster installs easily with Latch connectors and the booster can be used in either the 5 point harness strap mode (eg for younger kids) or with the vehicle's seatbelts. Note that this will always be a high back booster - it doesn't convert to just a booster seat, so it's not ideal for moving from vehicle to vehicle or taking on travel since it's much bigger and heavier than a booster seat without a back. The trade off is this is much safer than a regular booster seat. My only wish would be to make the high back removable, but perhaps that would make the seat less sturdy and safe as the steel frame would not wrap around the seat in one piece. Also there is a round fabric cover piece on the buckle that doesn't stay in place well. We have owned other Britax car seats, and they had better buckle covers. I have a 4 year old and 6 year old, both weighing about 38 pounds, so I wanted to find a seat that gives me the ability to keep them in a harness but is more comfortable than a convertible seat. I also wanted to not have to purchase another car seat, so it was important to have something that could offer the harness but also grow with them. I have always loved Britax and this seat did not disappoint. I had made the switch to a harness booster for my oldest son and chose a different brand so I was thankful to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this harness booster to be able to have one for my younger son and compare the two seats. Installation was pretty easy, I had a slightly difficult time figuring out the strap thread for the LATCH belt but after that, installation was quick. I like how easy it is to get the seat tight using the LATCH buckles, our other seat is really hard to get secure. I love how much protection there is in the seat, the sides come out farther making the seat more comfortable but also providing more protection. This is better than the other seat we have. I LOVE the two cup holders, anyone with little kids knows that cup holders are as good as gold, to be able to have two is awesome. My boys switch seats a lot, so I have to move the headrest often and I was really pleased with how easy it is to adjust the headrest, even when they are sitting in the seat which I can't do with the other one. My one negative about the seat is that it is easy for the straps to become uneven (one tighter than the other), so when the kids are getting themselves out they can easily mess up the straps and then it is hard to get them both equally tight again. Somehow our other seat doesn't do this. I also thought it would be worth noting that the seat is a wider seat, so if you are needing to do 3 across I'm not sure this is the seat for you. However, if you don't need to be space conscious I love the extra space my son gets in the seat and both boys have said the seat is very comfortable. Overall I am very impressed with this seat and it certainly follows suit with the expectations of a Britax seat; sturdy, safe, comfortable and easy to install. I highly recommend.

Installation was easy. From opening the box to install was 10 minutes. I love the 3 points of security that holds the seat in place. I love the latches, rear hook, and the seat belt secure features. We replaced our Britax car seat with this Harness-2-Booster seat and we are so glad we did. Our daughter is 4 years old and 50 lbs. We are using it in the original harness form and it fits perfectly for her. She loves the dual cup holders with extra space for her little toys. I like the fabric, it has a cooling feature and this is nice for hot days this also adds padding on the back which is nice. We like that it is forward facing and raises her up high enough that she can look through the windshield. The harness level is adjustable, the only issue with the harness if anything at all, was the buckle cover, it is a large circle meant to keep comfort between the legs. The buckle cover just doesn't stay on as secure as I like. The seat is wide enough so there is ample room for comfortable seating. I felt the seat cushion could have been a little thicker for a softer seating, but my daughter hasn't complained once. I love the coloring of it, black and red with the cooling feature being gray with blue. We are excited this will be the last seat we will need for her as it is capable of 120 lbs. I would say my favorite feature is that it is adjustable. Britax is a brand I love and trust. I have owned Britax car seats and strollers and never had any negative experiences. I currently have a 3 and 5 year old who both use booster seats still in 5 point harness mode. I was able to supply an extra car seat in my secondary vehicle for quick trips and daycare pick up/drop offs. The seat was very easy to install using the LATCH belt system. Honestly, the best feature is being able to quickly adjust the strap levels by simply pressing the handle on the seat back and sliding it up or down. I don't have to have 2 car seats in my secondary vehicle which saves me money and time. Yes, that means only 1 child at a time, however, it allows another parent to use their own vehicle instead of having to meet and switch cars even if it's needed to get 1 kid! I like the high impact protector sides that adjust to shield a growing child no matter the age and size. I'm impressed with the integrated steel frame. It is on the heavy side so I wouldn't recommend using this seat as one that needs to constantly move between two vehicles. Very few cons such as this car seat is on the bigger side so it most likely won't work for families that need 3 across. Also, the fabric is NOT machine washable so wipe down only, but the fabric is smooth and breathable so easy to keep clean. All in all, this is a great car seat that easily grows with a child from harness to booster without breaking the bank especially for families with multiple children close in age!

Overall I was super impressed with the quality of this car seat ? from the design all the way through to the safety features! I received this harness -2- booster car seat as a part of the stellar product testing panel and overall feel this is an excellent choice for the growing toddler. My three year desperately wanted a booster seat like her big brother, but I wanted to keep her in a harness for as long as possible. This seat is a great option that feels like a booster while still having the harness and has the capability of lasting from toddlerhood through school age. The fabric is soft and comfortable. It was easy to install and adjusting the straps was very simple and easier than her old convertible seat which was a huge plus. The seat is a bit wide if you are looking to have multiple seats in one row, but we still are able to fit three across in our Honda Pilot. The built in cup holder is really nice and the seat feels very secure when installed. We are big Britax fans because of the quality and safety of their products and this seat doesn't disappoint.

Britax booster Let me preface this with the fact that I've been a mom 8 times and have had my fair share of car seats. So many do not fit bigger kiddos who still don't meet the height and weight requirements to be without a car seat. I also feel it is necessary to harness my children until they are 7 or 8 even if they fit the height or weight requirements for a booster. I love this car seat because I can still harness my 6 year old who is 3'7 and 50 pounds. Because she is taller, she thinks she shouldn't have to be harnessed and so it makes life difficult in getting her to buckle every time we get into the car. On the first day I set up the car seat (easy install, by the way....we used the latch option), she hopped in there and smiled. She was able to buckle herself and stayed buckled the whole time. This is huge! A few positives after using the booster a few weeks: * Easy install. I love Britax for their simple installations and setups. * Amazing safety features. I love what Britax stands for and their commitment to providing the safest car seats for my babies. * Easy for little hands to buckle. * Sturdy armrests. * Comfortable for the bigger kiddos. * Easily adjustable and grows with the child. * Higher weight limit than other car seats. A few cons: * I disliked the color. Would love something more unique and fun! * The seat looks like it will stain easily. * My daughter could not unbuckle which may be a pro to some or a con to others. Sometimes it's nice for the bigger kiddos to be able to unbuckle themselves. * I'd like to see an extra cover included for going into booster mode so the holes aren't visible where seatbelts used to go. This is minor, but would be nice. All in all, I like the car seat and my daughter does as well, and that's a big win for us! I was given this harness booster to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We were overall pleased with this seat. The install with the v-shaped anchor isn't as easy as some seats so it isn't one I'd want to move often but it's fine now that's it's installed. The ease of adjusting the height with one hand is nice and I have peace of mind because of the steel frame and the side impact protection. The seat also has 4 cup and snack holders which is always a plus!

I have gone through my fair share of booster seats over the past 9 years between 3 kids. My kids are constantly riding with different family members, which I have to make sure there are plenty of car seats to go around. When I was sent this booster seat I did not know the brand I was getting but when that Britax box arrived at the front door I was ecstatic! Britax has been my go to brand for the last 4 years!! Before then, I was a new mother that just went with whatever brands my friends had. I found out quickly that there were features that I felt were a must have for my peace of mind, sanity and also stylish personality. When shopping for our high back booster seats I usually have a few key points that always need to be checked off. Dependability... A booster seat needs to function for an extended period of time, and with that, I need to know it will last. When one child is done with the booster most likely I have another ready to take it over, which means our seats usually last their whole lifetime in our family. I don't want to worrying about whether the seat is going be safe enough for my next child. Britax uses high strength steel for their car seat frames which puts my mind at ease because I know it's built to last! With a rating of 25-65 lbs for forward facing with the harness, then belt positioning booster mode for up to 120 lbs I know this seat will last from the time they graduate a rear facing seat all the way up till they no longer need a car seat at all! Comfort... The Cool Flow technology of this seat is something new that we had not had before. My smallest guy puts off a lot of heat but with the ventilated mesh fabric he seems to be more comfortable. Especially when he falls asleep in the seat. The padding in the head rest is thicker than some of the other seats we have tried, which again, adds to that comfort. This seat also has TWO cup holders AND extra space for toys or snacks. What more could a toddler ask for!? We haven't needed to wash the padding yet, but they did seem easy enough to remove if we needed to. We have only used this seat in the harness mode so far with our little guy and he really enjoys it! In fact, he wanted to climb in and test it out before we had a chance to adjust the head rest (as you can see in the photo). Don't worry though! The quick adjust headrest and harness was easy to adjust! No need to take the seat out to re-adjust the straps and headrest!! Just push in the red lever and pull up (or down). I would buy this carseat over again just for this feature alone for my own SANITY!! Easy to Install... Ok, I will admit when I first pulled this seat out of the box I thought it didn't come with latch buckles. It does! I just had to find the little compartment in the booster that they were tucked into(with a little help from the manual). Once I was able to thread the buckle through the seat my husband was ready to install it. At this point in the game he has become my expert car seat installer. Something else that is new was the V shaped tether for the top latch. My husband was so impressed with this feature he had to show me how it worked! Most other car seats center their tether in the middle of the back of the seat. That usually always leaves some give and the top of the seat can easily be moved a inch or two in either direction when you push it side to side. The V shaped tether nearly eliminated this give and was the most secure we have ever felt a high back booster been before! We haven't had the need to remove the seat but just from Britax experience their easy-on/ easy- off latch system is by far easier to use than other latch anchors. Britax uses a release mechanism that remind me of a seat belt release. Just push the red button and you can remove the latch with ease. No more fighting with the latch anchors (which I have done many times, for long periods of time, with other cheaper brands). Stylish... If I am going to have something in my car for a few years it has got to look good right?? The black design with the teal mesh is a real eye catcher in my opinion. It just looks so modern and sleek. I kinda hope the other moms will catch a glimpse of this cool seat in my car, haha! It's really something I am proud to have my child ride in every day. I am looking forward to having this seat for my youngest to use from now till the end of his car seat days. Even though I received this booster seat as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, if I was shopping for another booster this would have been most likely at the top of my list. I am honored to have been selected to review this seat and as always, Britax continues to impress me with their quality seats.

I have a newish car and found adjusting the shoulder / crotch straps and headrest easy and straightforward. Installing the seat in the car was a little tricky because of how the pathway is with the seat belt (and not using the lower LATCH). Because of my kids' size and weight, the seat belt goes behind his back in the car seat and it's a bit different because the cushion back of the car seat has to sit flat. That is easier said than done. It's still a good quality car seat and the fact that it will fit a kid up to 120lbs is an amazing feature. My son really likes the armrests and cup holders and says it's comfortable. I received this car seat as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

I was given this harness booster to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have always loved and trusted Britax products. This seat did not disappoint either. The steel frame always gives extra reassurance as a mom. I love that it can go from 5 point harness, to using the car's seat belt fairly easily. It is also easy to install with or without the LATCH system. We chose to use the seat belt installation, as LATCH is not available in our third row. Overall, great, safe product.

I agreed to test a harness-to-booster car seat for the Stellar Product Testing Panel because my son is 5 and getting pretty big for his convertible car seat (Britax Pavilion). I didn't know which brand we were getting, and I was very excited to see that we received a Britax - both of my kids have been riding in their Britax convertible seats since they were newborns. I've always thought Britax makes some of the best car seats out there. And when we took the seat out of the box, it didn't disappoint. The Grow With You Harness-2-Booster Car Seat is attractive and it feels solid. I pulled out the manual to see how to adjust it for my son and he was excited to try it out. It was easy to raise the headrest to adjust the harness, I easily moved the bottom buckle outward, and was pleasantly surprised to see that there's a simple recline function. Meanwhile my son was telling me all the things that he was going to keep in the 4 cup holders! My son is almost 40 pounds, so we got ready to install the seat using the lap-shoulder belt, since the instructions say not to use LATCH when the child is over 45 lbs. We assumed we'd be installing this and leaving it for a long time and we didn't want to forget to switch over to the lap-shoulder belt installation. Well, my husband, who is our resident car seat installer (and has installed at least 7 different kinds of car seats dozens of times), went out to the car with the seat and didn't come back for a long time. He came back and claimed defeat. He said no matter what he did, the bottom of the seat just didn't feel securely installed using the lap-shoulder belt method. So I went out and tried, and I found the same thing. One of the bottom edges of the seat would feel pretty well installed, and the top felt pretty solid since we were using the tether anchor, but the other bottom side just seemed to move a ton even when we tightened it as much as possible. We normally install the seat in the middle row of our mini van and I even tried the seat in the back row as well as the middle row, with the same result. Ultimately, we just didn't feel comfortable having our son ride in the seat. Maybe someday we'll find someone who can install it more securely, but even then I don't feel very comfortable using a seat that I can't install correctly myself - what if there's a reason for me to remove and reinstall the car seat when I'm on my own? I think it's a shame that we don't feel we can use the seat because the seat feels so nice and solid, I'm not quite sure what we'll do with it. It also gives me pause that this version doesn't say it has a washable cover, while the more expensive versions do. A washable seat is definitely a desirable feature for me. A possible downside to this seat is that it's so heavy, much heavier than the travel harness-to-booster we bought recently to travel with. But our Britax seats have always been heavy and it's never been a problem because they've always just stayed installed in our car. If I were purchasing a seat like this, I'd definitely try one of the higher end versions of this seat, one of the ones with a washable seat that comes with ClickTight installation. My second son's Britax convertible seat came with ClickTight and it's really a very easy and secure way to install the seat. I don't think I could recommend this version, though.

Overall, I would say the car seat is average. My concern is with the harness. It wouldn't stay tightened and the straps easily were tangled. The cushions on the straps were also uncomfortable for my daughter. She has Cerebral Palsy and needs as much support as possible in a car seat. I didn't feel that this seat gave that to her. There also wasn't enough padding in the head support.

We've been using out Grow with you Click Tight seat for several weeks now and my 4-year-old is in love with. She loves the color, numerous cup holders to hold all her treasures, and the ease with which she can buckle herself in. She tells everyone about it. The seat is very secure when installed and is simple to take in and out and once you've done it once or twice. We love the five point harness and that the seat can grow into a regular booster using the car's seat belt strap as our child grows.

My son was ready to grow into another seat and this one was absolutely perfect. It has the right amount of padding for comfort and stability but still has the cool flow so he isn't a sweaty mess. It was easy to install and he loves the cup holder details. It makes him feel like a "big boy". We no longer have a struggle for him to get into his seat like we did with his previous chair.

We received our car seats a few weeks ago and the boys just love them! My husband installed them both in 5 minutes. The instructions were so easy. We put these in my husband's truck and, every since they've been used, my kids don't want to ride in their old car seats. They look so comfortable - I wish they made these for adults! Before owning these, we had high back booster seats without harnesses. My 2.5 year old unbuckled himself and was walking around while we were driving on the freeway. We just got this car seat for my son who is almost 4. We?ve been using britax car seat products since he was born. Hands down the best and most convenient car seat out there ? it?s been a breeze using all the different levels as he grows. It?s easy to move from car to car as needed and the install process is quick and easy. I also love how secure and sturdy it is ? makes me have such reassurance he is safe while traveling. He?s comfortable and I?m comfortable and confident he?s protected.
