Just received my Harness-to-Booster seat, and it was VERY easy for me (grandma) to figure out and install. It came in a cool carseat-shaped box (genius), packaging was excellent. My cat likes it for a playhouse now. Surprised my 5 yo grandson with it today, and he absolutely loves it, said it's really comfortable. I'm looking forward to a few good years of use of this well-constructed product.

I have been purchasing britax car seats for 6 years now, they were my go to brand. I recently upgraded my twins to the grow with me boosters. I haven't even installed them in the car yet and I noticed a piece was broken. The process to adjust the crotch buckle is poorly planned out. You have to unclip very flimsy, very cheap plastic clips that are holding the fabric on the seat. One of those clips snapped when removing, using the exact instructions in the manual. Why would you choose to use such a cheap design in an excellent rated, and one of the more expensive car seat options out there??

First I would like to say I love the ClickTight system. It is the best thing that has every happened to car seats. The overall look and fabric is just as nice as our Britax Boulevard ClickTight, bought in 2018 for my now 3 year old, that my 6 month old will now use. I can get this seat locked in to where it will not budge, but not as easily as the Boulevard. I feel as if the seat belt isn't as protected in the path as it is with the Boulevard. I'm extra careful when installing it to make sure it will not get pinched and damage my seat belt. This could definitely be improved. The overall quality and safety is the same as the Boulevard. My toddler loves her seat. It will recline slightly which is great for when she falls asleep in the car. Her head doesn't fall forward. I would still recommend this car seat because the overall quality, comfort and safety is just as nice as the others. But it could be improved with the belt path so be mindful when installing.

Overall, I am happy with this car seat. It has good safety features and my grandchildren like the cup/snack/toy holders. This is the first car seat we've purchased where the grandbabies' heads don't hang down when they nap. However, as adjustable as this seat is, I would like to see the armrests be adjustable as well. It could also use more padding in the seat area for longer car trips.

I am a momma of three, but my oldest is only four (and a half) - years old, so the Grow With You Harness-2-Booster Car Seat is my first booster seat. And since it's for my first baby, I was really looking for something safe and high quality, because it will likely be used by one (or more) of her younger siblings, too. Although my daughter's forward-facing car seat that she used previously looks bigger and bulkier, I was surprised at how heavy the Grow With You Harness-2-Booster Car Seat is in comparison. It looks light, but I really appreciate that it has such good density. It makes me feel like it's very sturdy and safe. (I guess it's that steel frame!) When installing the car seat, I prefer to use the LATCH system, and was able to hook and unhook the booster seat easily into my car. My husband, however, prefers using the seat belt to install the booster seat. He really likes how you pull down the back part of the seat so you can see the seat belt while installing it. Many car seats make you go "blind" as you stick the seat belt through a hole near the bottom and try to pull it all the way through, but you have a full visual with this booster seat. And my daughter's favorite feature is definitely the two cup holders and two snack holders! Although she usually uses them to stash toys that she brings with her in the car, not necessarily food and drink. Since I've only used it with my daughter for a few weeks, I haven't needed to adjust the fit, besides initially setting it up (which I was able to do so easily), but since this grows with her until she weighs over 100 pounds, I am grateful that it is fully adjustable. Especially since this will probably be used by a younger sibling in the future, so my daughter can use it as a belt-positioning booster until she's big, and then I can adjust it back to a five-point harness for a smaller, younger sibling. Although I received the Grow With You Harness-2-Booster Car Seat through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I will buy another in the future for my second child (who will need one before my daughter grows out of it), and I highly recommend it to anyone else!

I loved trying out the Grow With You Harness-2-Booster Car Seat. It works great in harness mode with both my 6 year old who is 50 lbs and 46 inches and my 3 year old who is 37 inches and 38 lbs . It's very easy to use , if they want to switch seats in the car all I have to do is adjust the head rest and adjust the straps a little bit, like most seats now the harness does not need to be rethreaded to switch positions. It will hold until 65 lbs in harness mode, although I think my kids will be too tall for the harness slots by then but they will be old enough for the booster mode which will hold until 120 lbs. You can install using LATCH or the seatbelt and it's easy and quick to install using both methods. The kids favorite thing about the seat is the cupholders and little places to put their stuff. The cover is black and will be hard to stain. My kids say it's very comfortable and it's easy for them to buckle themselves and even tighten the straps after I adjust the headrest. This seat is pretty heavy but most of the combination car seats are. We have a couple of other Britax seats that are comparable to this and they've been very durable and this seems like it will be as well. I received this booster seat through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and was eager to have my kids try it out. Overall is is a great seat, lots of cup holders and places for snacks/toys/etc and the usual safety features mandated today. My only complaint was that it is a bit larger than other seats I have tried. We have a small econo car and with the seat my kids we barely able to fit in the rear seat with an adult in the front. It is substantially larger in every dimension from our other seats. As stated I love the seat, its easy to put in the car and easy to buckle the kids in as well. I love that is can be cleaned without an insane disassembly like the others require. Overall its a great seat but just a tad too big for those parents with small cars.

We were blessed to receive the Britax Grow With You Harness To Booster to try out with my 3 year old son. As soon as I told my son it was his new big boy seat for the car, he was thrilled and I couldn't get him to leave me alone! It was annoying at first, but proved very helpful in the end. I liked that it offered several ways to install. We like to use the two LATCH anchors in our vehicle, but it's always easier to use the seat belt install options in grandma's car. Thankfully, the instructions were very simple to follow, so I was able to get it installed with my son playing around impatiently in the car. It was actually helpful to have him there to climb in and out of the seat to try out the different recline and height positions to find the best fit for him. He apparently likes how comfy it is because he can fall asleep in it VERY quickly. When asked though, my son's favorite feature is the cup and snack holders. He pointed out he would have places for his water, pretzels, and his cars! My favorite feature is the fact that it has 2 layers of side impact protection while not being super cumbersome or wide. I like to be able to actually see out my back window while driving and it allows me to do that. My husband's favorite feature is the fact that it adjusts easily and will grow with our son for quite a while. This is our first experience with a harness to booster car seat and I found this seat to be very sturdy, fit well into our full size sedan, and was complete with all of the comfort and convenience features that I would expect from a car seat that can adjust and grow with my son over the years. I did find the installation a bit more challenging than expected, primarily because it took me a bit to figure out how the harness release lever works due to the directions not being specific enough about the location and operation of the lever. Upon additional consideration, this is actually a safety feature in the overall utilization of the seat because this design makes it more challenging for a child to intentionally or accidentally loosen or release the harness once secured in the seat. I really like the way that the lower anchors are stored in a compartment below the seat, however based on the way that the plastic lid/seat back piece closes, I was not sure if it was secure or not. It would be a nice if this piece clicked into place so that I could be sure that the lower anchors were in their correct storage location and not interfering with the operation of the seat back piece. Once I had the seat correctly installed and adjusted, it was awesome! My son feels very comfortable in this seat and I love that it has a recline adjustment, plenty of side impact protection, and two cup holders with an extra compartment next to each one that would be perfect for snacks or small toys. The padded arm rests are also a key comfort feature and the material seems like it would be easy to wipe down to keep clean. I also found the harness height adjuster quick and easy to operate. I am looking forward to using this safe, comfortable, and adjustable seat for my son for a long time. This is a fantastic car seat.  For the big people, it's very easy to install (I don't feel like I'm wrestling an anvil when I move it) and super-easy to adjust when the kids want to play musical chairs.  For the small people, they love the arm rests, the cup/snack/toy/rock holders and the fabric keeps them cool on these hot summer days.   One thing to note is that even though I received this Harness to Booster Seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, this seat is not ideal if you need to fit 3-across (or one in the middle and one on the side) because the seat widens at the front for the cupholders.  

I upgraded my 4 yo to the Britax grow with you click tight harness to booster 3 weeks go and so far it's been great. It was a super simple and effective install which is great in case I need to switch cars out. The adjustable safety features are easy to use and glide smoothly. My daughter gets excited to sit in the seat which make her feel like a 'big girl' seat and mentions that it's 'so comfortable'. One of my favorite features is the fabric and ease of removing the cover when you're ready to put it in the wash- you don't have to disassemble the car seat like some of the other seats I've used. I also love the fact that it converts from harness mode to booster mode in seconds. I like investing on items that will last awhile and I confident when it's time to pass it on to my son it'll still be in great shape. I was given this Harness to Booster Seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

My 2 year old was very excited to try this booster seat when he saw it come out of the box. The Britax brand has always had some of the most comfortable fabric and cushioning of all the car seat brands, and this Booster is no exception--my kiddo sat in this comfortably for a 2-hour drive with no complaints. It is also so great to have additional small storage areas next to the cup holders--now my son can actually have a cup or water bottle with him (he always put toys in the cupholders of our old car seat instead!). Glad the padding comes off without having to uninstall the Booster (haven't needed to use this feature yet, but I know I will be glad when we do). Installation of the Booster is also a breeze with two lower LATCH system clips for anchoring (other car seats we have owned only had one latch/clip that then required tightening/pulling of the belt, and never made a great fit), making it easy to get a secure position without shifting of the seat--it likely also helps that the seat itself is heavy for its size (which may make transfer between cars less appealing, though we plan to keep this in one car). The chest clip and harness buckle are some of the easiest to latch/unlatch of all the car seat brands we've tried. I am also huge on safety, so the 5-point harness is a big selling point for me. Of course my favorite feature of the entire Booster is that is it made to grow with your child. My older daughter has also been asking to try this carseat, as it actually looks less "babyish" than the one we have her using--so we may actually swap hers with this Booster soon! Nice to have that option with the large weight distribution range. I think would also work well for older children as the smaller armrests make entering/exiting the car quick and easy. We have owned two other Britax carseats in the past and have always been very satisfied with their safety and quality, and this Booster continues to uphold my positive impression of the brand--look forward to using this seat for years to come. First things first, this seat does not have the ClickTight system and it does not have machine washable fabrics. I almost put 3 stars because of it but I have to say that this is still a nice seat. I do have the ClickTight system in another seat and I personally would have upgraded to the Grow With You Harness-2-Booster ClickTight Car Seat. I think the system and the machine washable fabrics are worth a little extra money and less of my time dealing with it. You might have to actually read more than normal from the manual on this one but it's easier once you do. Just read first and it will help prevent some frustration. Britax is known for its quality and it does show here. The steal frame adds that extra stabilization (but unfortunately heft as well) and the SafeCell technology in the base for energy absorption. The double layer of side-impact protection also makes me feel a little more comfortable. The headrest and harness were extremely easy to adjust and fit my 4.5 year old son. That, to me, is another form of protection; proper fit. My top favorites about this seat would be the higher arm rests and the multiple storage areas. My son actually used the armrests for more comfort and the cup/snack holders held not only his juice and snack but his cars and keys and whatever little trinket he had in his pocket that day. The headrest is also a huge plus. Napping actually happens in this seat on long trips. I had another booster that he insisted on sitting in but he would always get frustrated when gravity took over and his head tipped all the way over. In this seat he has fallen asleep multiple times and for awhile. Every moment of peace is amazing. I am as pleased as he is with the Grow With You Harness-2-Booster Car Seat. If you don't mind a little extra time for installation or washing then this is a fine car seat and does its job well. If not, then upgrade. =) It makes things much easier. I received this Harness to Booster Seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It was incredibly easy to install and adjust to my little guy. We were off with no complaints from him- spacious and comfy, with plenty of cup holders. We like the ease to clean up spills and any mess. I cannot say enough how user friendly this seat is - even my mother-in-law likes it, and trust me that days A LOT!

I'm so impressed with the Harness to Booster Seat. It's not only a beautiful (admittedly we have not used it enough to start having snacks embedded in the seats) addition to the back seat but also a very functional one. My favorite feature of the car seat is the fact that it can be *easily* adjusted to grow with the child, instead of constantly having to purchase new equipment for the car. We had no issues installing the car seat. Even I could wrestle it into the car, which can be hard for me with the heaviness of other seats. I love the safety features of the car seat, the cushioning from more angles. It just feels and looks much safer than previous iterations of car seats. First off, hands down Britax is my go-to for car seat reliability and dependability. I have complete confidence that my child is safe and I recommend Britax car seats to anyone that asks for recommendations. Now that I have toddlers (and no longer infants!) my husband and I were looking to get a new car seat that was more compact/less bulky and sleek. This fit the bill, and even better, it will work as a booster when my child moves from a 5-point harness. The car seat is lightweight and easy to carry to the car, and my little was excited to be sitting in a new car seat like his older brother! I really like that you can adjust the straps just by lifting the quick adjust harness (it's one of my favorite features of Britax car seats!). I think my kid's favorite feature is the attached cup holders and the arm rests! I'm giving this a 4-star rating because it's a beast to install. I feel I am a "pro" at car seat installation and have installed 6+ different car seats of a variety of brands. I tried for 20 minutes to install this seat with the regular seat belt, and I could NOT get it to stay tight no matter how I adjusted it. The base kept sliding around. However, my kid is quite a bit under the 45 lb limit for the LATCH system, so I was able to install it securely using that and it took less than 5 minutes. Overall, Britax is still my favorite car seat brand and I am happy I was able to test this out as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

I tried this car seat out with both my almost 3 year old and my 4.5 year old. First thing I will say, I did not love the packaging (overall a minor complaint, I know); however, it was very bulky. The packaging shaped like a seat and the box was falling apart at the bottom and it gave me some concern about how much damage this car seat went through before it arrived. Although that is not Britax's fault, rather the mailing service. After really checking the car seat out, we installed it following the easy directions and it felt very secure. The material is great. It is not too hot, which is very important in South Florida and the easy removable cover is a huge plus. The car seat is slim and although the boxing was bulky, the car seat itself is not. It's light weight, yet still feels very safe. It fits perfect in captain chairs in SUVs. I am probably one of the few who does not like the extra cup holders because I try to limit all the "extras" we take in the car, but it is nice for a long road trip. I received this product thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel . This is my first Britax car seat and I have to say I was impressed overall.

I don't think I've ever seen my daughter as excited to ride in the car as she was after we got this Grow With You Harness-2-Booster Car Seat; she immediately fell in love with it and actually got angry that I wouldn't take it out of the car so she could use it as a chair in the house. lol I like it quite a bit as well, but there are some aspects and features of the car seat that I like more than others so lets look at the pros and cons a bit. Pros: I love that the seat will grow with my daughter; with as happy as she is with it, I'm not going to have any issues getting a lot of use out of it and her WANTING to use it is a great bonus. This seat sits up straighter than what we'd used with my son; that one still had a recline to the back of it, even when as upright as you could make it, and that took away some of the leg room in the backseat as a result. With the way this car seat fits in the car, my daughter sits a lot more comfortably and with a lot more room for her legs, which we both like. Also included is a little padded circle that sits behind the seat buckle in order to keep it from pressing uncomfortably into little abdomens, which is nice. The design and materials used in the construction of the seat make me feel a lot better about my daughter's safety when she's riding in it; there's a steel frame in it which does quite a bit for my piece of mind seeing as how it isn't just made of plastic. If you have messy kids the seat is designed to be easy to clean; the cover comes off easily so you can wash it and then put it back on. Now some Cons: While I love the safety afforded by the steel frame, this also means that the seat is HEAVY so that's a consideration for the initial install or if you need to move the car seat between different vehicles. While I'm sure many people (and kids) may like the cup holders, I felt that having some on either side of the seat was a bit excessive; my daughter doesn't care to use them at all so for us, they're superfluous. I thought it was a nice idea that the extra belts could be stored within the seat itself but it wasn't as easy to close the seat back up properly once I'd gotten them out; I had to actually take a little time to ensure everything lined up properly so it would go back together right. It was a tiny bit frustrating but not a huge issue. Overall, I'm really happy with the Grow With You Harness-2-Booster Car Seat and will definitely continue to use it. We received the Britax Grow with You Harness-2-Booster Car Seat as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Our almost 5-year-old daughter is 41 inches tall, but isn't quite 40 lbs. so we had been looking for a booster that has a harness and that she can grow into. We were all excited to get the opportunity to try this car seat, especially our daughter! Her favorite parts were the extra snack/toy holders (of course), that it's comfy, and she liked the positioning of the seat in my car so that she had a better view. It fits very well in my Rav4 and one of my favorite parts is that she can't kick the back of my chair as easily anymore! Installation was a little more difficult than I had expected - I had to look up directions beyond the instructive stickers on the chair, which was surprising, because we can usually figure it out pretty fast. But once we did, installation was quick and easy! Britax is a well-trusted and respected brand for safety and function and I believe that this seat will live up to that high standard. Since our daughter is a little smaller than the average almost 5-year-old, we wanted a seat that can grow with her, and this product is exactly what we need. The 5-point harness will work for her now and the chair will grow with her as long as she needs it, making this product an ideal investment.

As I was thinking of a title for this review, I started to type in so many different positive adjectives to properly describe this car seat, but I ended up deleting and titling it "simply amazing." My favorite feature of this is definitely the ease of installing it. If you're like me, you hate installing car seats and get easily frustrated. This was a breeze to install! After installing and taking it on it's first ride, I realized that my 2 year old seemed happy! Now let me tell you, he's usually crying to be let out of his car seat within 10 min of being in it. I knew it would be comfy since I took it out of the box, and it didn't fail my son! Even the safety features which include the head rest were a huge plus since he usually falls asleep after a while, and that helped him rest his head better! I'm so happy to have received this Harness to Booster Seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

I was so excited to receive this car seat to try from Stellar Product Testing Panel. I absolutely love the Britax brand. All of my kids are in Britax. I love that the brand makes an extra effort in their safety features. As a mom of three ages 4 and under, I feel confident that they are completely safe in these car seats. When I received this car seat, the first thing I did was read the manual. I am familiar with this brand, but wanted to make sure I installed the car seat correctly. I was able to easily install the car seat in my van using the seatbelt and tether. I love that it has cup holders, but it is not suitable if you need slim carseats. The bottom of this car seat is on the wider side. The cupholders are not removable, which would be nice. This seat is super easy to tighten the straps. My biggest complaint is that the bottom part of the harness that the straps click into always ends up falling down instead of staying forward. When my child gets into the seat she is always sitting on the strap which I have to dig out from under her bum to get her clicked in properly. Overall, this is a good seat option for your child as they grow.

We love this seat for our 4.5 year old! It's much slimmer, lighter and less bulky overall than the convertible seat she was previously in (much easier to fit into a captain's chair in our SUV and to squeeze by to get to the third row). Our daughter keeps talking about how she's in a a 'real' big kid's car seat now. She's tall for her age, and this seems to fit her height much better. We also love that it will transition with her to a high-back booster. She also loves the fact that she can have "two drinks AND two snacks!!" in the easily accessible cup/snack holders. My daughter likes that she has 'real' arm rests, and I love that the harness chest straps fit around the arm rests, so she can easily get in and out without me digging for the straps behind her back. The chair was very easy to install with the seatbelt/top tether (we installed in the 5-point harness setting with it slightly reclined). The material feels nice, doesn't seem like it will snag (we've had that problem before) and my favorite (since I've had sick kids in the car one too many times) is the easily removable cover. My 2.5 year old has the best seat in the van. The Harness 2 Booster Seat (he uses in harness mode) is padded for ultimate comfort. The material is also stain-resistant so it will look nicer for much longer than our previous fabric carseats. Our son loves the extra cup/snack holders, 1 for a drink, 1 for a snack, 1 for a pacifier, and 1 for trucks. His dream come true! Parents benefit from the ease of install and the ease of taking off the cover for washing. We have had 4 other seats with 5 point harnesses (across our 3 children), so we can say for sure that the easy remove cover is a wonderful feature for kids prone to car-sickness, or just messy toddlers in general! The car seat is easy to adjust for height, clothing thickness, and recline position. The recline feature is not only comfortable, but also provides a sense of safety to allow my toddler to sleep without his head dropping forward. To put parents at ease I wouldn't recommend using the seat until the child is at least 30 lbs or close to 3 years old so that they are stronger and can more easily support themselves. Other 5 point harness seats that we have used have more side enclosure or protection, versus being open on the sides like boosters for older children. I graciously received this Harness to Booster Seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It has been an amazing addition to our car seat family, as we now own 6 car seats from this brand and only one from another (which, I might add, is sorely lacking in features). My son just turned 4 and is a very independent child who is adamant about buckling himself in. He's pretty trim, though lanky, and fit just fine in his convertible seat and we likely would not have taken him out of the 5-point harness and invested in a booster for at least another year or so. That said, we were a little worried how he would adapt to this new harness-to-booster seat and be able to click himself in but it's truly been a dream. As mentioned, we are still using the 5-point harness for seating as it's the most safe and he's still pretty slim (we all just feel more safe this way!). He can easily climb in, sit back and pull the straps around his shoulders and buckle in just like his old seat. He absolutely LOVES the fact that is has 'compartments' (his words) which include 2 drink holders (one on either side) and 2 little cubby type slots for snacks, small toys, etc. Aesthetically the seat is very eye pleasing in the black/gray combo and goes well with both our tan interior and our other car seats (another black forward facing convertible for our 2-year-old and gray infant seat for our soon to be baby). It's very sleek and I could honestly see it even squeezing well into the middle seat of a wider row, though we haven't tried that yet as it's tethered to our captain seats. We'll eventually move him into the side back of the third row when the baby arrives and I have all the confidence in the world that he'll be just fine back there and not need my help getting buckled in (with only a quick push of the button from me to wriggle out when home). Installation was a little challenging, though first time around car seats always are for me, so I wrangled in the assistance of my husband who can figure this out speedily. It took him no more than 3-5 mins to install and we were able to find a comfortable fit on the first try with the harness. We haven't played around with the booster position of it yet as we haven't needed to however I don't think it will be an issue. We're very grateful to be able to try this seat out and so excited to add it to our 'collection!' I never doubt this brand's safety features and I do extensive research on all things car...this one was even in the running even before I was asked to review it!

I was given this Harness to Booster Seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and couldn't be happier with it. We're using it with our almost 3-year old, so we have it installed in the front-facing harness mode, but LOVE that we can use it in the booster mode up to 120 lbs...we'll never need another seat! Previously, we were using a convertible carseat/booster that we also loved a lot, but it is incredibly heavy (not great for travel), was more expensive, and does not have the adjustable headrest or recline options that this Britax seat has. The carseat was pretty simple to install after reading the instructions and adjusting the straps to fit the height of my son. Once I had my straps/headrest in the right slots (which again, was super easy because your don't have to re-thread anything), it was as simple as clicking in the two LATCH connectors and the tether behind the seat; it was really easy to get a nice, secure fit in our mid-size SUV and I love the option the seat gives you to install at more of a recline if desired. As far as safety goes, I've always trusted the Britax brand (it was the brand we used for our infant seat as well) and this seat seems very well-constructed. It's solid, but doesn't weigh a thousand pounds like our previous seat and my son seems very comfortable in it. We just took a 7.5 hour roadtrip in this seat, and he had no complaints and even took a nice nap since the two-layer side impact protection provides a nice cushion for his head to rest without flopping around. Notable other features I love--it has two cupholders as well as a little "compartment" on each side for other snacks or pacifier/small toys, and the fact that I can remove the cover to wash it without uninstalling the seat is amazing. All in all, I'm super impressed with this seat and absolutely plan on using it until we grow out of it!

This is my son's favorite car seat, but I'm only giving it 4 stars. It is really easy to install, but the latch system was really difficult to keep the straps untangled. I'm a stickler for car seat safety and having the straps twist really concerns me. I feel I have quite a bit of knowledge about seats and even I'm not sure I got this one in right, which makes me worried that the majority of these seats aren't installed safely. I also don't like that it's pretty bulky, but that just comes with the territory of being a multifaceted seat. Other than that it's really comfortable, easy to adjust to the right height, and I love that it will last for years. My son, who is 2, likes being able to reach both cup holders! Which is something that he can't do in any car seat so far and is a game changer! I also like that it looks nice and isn't a crazy color. I received this Harness to Booster seat through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It's a nice car seat that my son enjoys sitting in. He loves the dual cup holder and extra snack holder. He likes to sit cross legged sometimes however, he can't do that comfortably if he has his water bottle in the holder. He also likes that there is more room for his head to move than in his old booster. I like the size and weight of the seat and that it was easy to install, especially with the button latches as opposed to the hooks. The seat is easy to adjust as well. The box comes in an L shape which makes the seat super easy to remove. I like the ease of adjusting the rear anchor strap. It attaches twice to the car seat which I think makes it more secure, but I also think the two straps can slip off the seat where a single middle strap couldn't do that. Overall, I'm really happy with the seat and looking forward to using it for the next few years!

My favorite feature of this car seat was how easy it was to set up-including being light weight. Installing this car seat is very easy with the latch system and extra safety latch. The safety features are great with it being side impact approved and how it will continue to be safe for my child to sit in as she grows. The Britax Grow With You Harness-2-Booster Car Seat is a great fit for our growing 5 year old! It was easy to install using the LATCH system or the vehicle seat belt. I love the V-shaped tether strap! It seems more secure than the ones we've used previously. Our daughter really enjoyed the armrests and the cup/snack holders too! My favorite part of the Britax Grow With You Harness-2-Booster Car Seat was how quick and simple it was to adjust the headrest and straps to fit her perfectly. She seems very safe and secure in this car seat, though I personally would prefer a bit more cushion on the sides. I also love that the seat cover can be removed to be cleaned. Absolutely one of the best booster seats ever. My toddler is loving her new seat. As soon as she saw the seat, she was super excited. This seat  is very spacious and very sturdy. I love the fact that is black and can hide away food stains and dirt. My toddler absolutely loves her arm rest, she feels like a big girl. Now  Installation was a bit tricky, this was my fist time installing a new carseat. My husband has been the car seat installer this past years, for this reason I struggled a little. The other reason was that  I did not read the manual.  Therefore, before you take it to your car to install, make sure you read instructions just to make sure you know where everthing is and where the hooks go. Overall after knowing where everything goes, it was super simple. The hardness adjustment was such an ease, it was very easy to loosen the straps. The pad protectors fit perfect to protect her neck. The seat has two recline positions, which I love because my toddler is on the younger side and tends to take naps in the car. Therefore, it allows my child to sleep comfortably without having her head tilt down. The safety features are excellent. You can tell right away by how heavy the car seat is,  it has two perfect side cushions, first one is very sturdy and wide, the second cuchion works like a pillow for my toddler. By far being able to recline the seat for my child to sleep has been one of my favorite features for a booster seat.  I actually have one more favorite feature, and it definitely has to be the 4 cup/snack holder, love that it has more room for my child to have drinks and snack right by her side.  Second item I have from Britax and it definitely has not disappointment me. My daughter and I have really enjoyed this car seat so far! She is still in a 5-point harness, so I cannot speak to using it in booster mode at this time. I love that all the parts on the seat are clearly labeled and that the padding for the back easily flips up for installation. The padding is also very easy to remove for washing. We used the seat belt install and it was amazingly easy. I like that the shoulder straps adjust with the headrest, so there's no re-threading of the belts. We recently took a 6 hour trip and it was my daughter's first time being in this seat for more than a few minutes at a time. She did not complain once about her butt hurting (which I don't think has EVER happened before) - so I think that's a win for being comfortable. This seat goes up to 120 pounds, so I know we'll be using it for a while. I'm actually considering getting a second for my husband's car because my daughter likes it so much. I think it makes her feel more like a big kid than the regular rear/forward facing seats. She loves the cup holders too and having two of them. I only experienced a little difficulty with the recline feature. It seemed like it was stuck or something and my husband and I both had to be pulling the lever/pushing the seat to get it to move. The release button for the harness is also buried pretty far under the flap, but once you get used to it, it's fine. Other than that this seat is great! I was given this Harness to Booster Seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I'm truly thrilled with it. As a mom of a 5 yr old and 2 yr old, I'm sure I'm not the only one that has fiddled and struggled trying to adjust a seat to fit my child - well this one impressed me right off the bat. I was expecting the same challenge but I was pleasantly surprised at how incredibly simple and easy it was to adjust to the perfect fit for my son! I literally said "wow, that was so easy!" Additionally, installing the seat in our car was equally simple and easy! Among my favorite things are how lightweight the seat is (thus so easy to transfer between vehicles) as well as the double cup holders (which my son loves to fill with all the things...lol...toys, snacks, you name it). Ever since my 4 year old was born I have dreaded installing the car seat. The Britax Grow With You Harness-2-Booster Car Seat is the perfect choice to keep your "big kid" safe while they grow into a real big kid. My kids are tall for their age and have reached the height limits of their convertible car seats much earlier than I anticipated. While they technically qualify for a booster seat, they are much too young to actually use one safely. This is where the Britax Grow with You Harness-2-Booster comes in to save the day! This car seat will keep your kiddos safe with a five point harness while they are young, then easily convert to a high back booster when they are older. It is intuitive and easy to install. Even the first installation only took a few minutes. It has excellent safety features including a steel frame (it is heavy), dual side impact panels, and a v-shaped rear tether which all combine to give me peace of mind. My two favorite features are the removable cover and the adjustable headrest/harness. The harness is SO easy to adjust. Just squeeze the handle at the top of the seat and move up or down to get the correct fit. This feature is so helpful when I drive other children. No need to uninstall to un-thread and re-thread the harness. If the seat gets dirty, the cover come off (and goes back on) without un-threading the harness or uninstalling the car seat. Safety is always my number one concern when it comes to my children and their carseats. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this Harness to Booster Seat. This seat has a high strength steel frame, 2 layers of side impact protection, nap friendly head padding (my almost 3 year old definitely tested that out), and 2 snack and 2 drink holders! As a family who takes lots of long car rides to visit family or go on vacation having a carseat that is comfortable and versatile is very important. As the mom to two very quick growing and tall little boys having a seat that not only grows with them but is easy for me to adjust as they grow is amazing. The seat is also very easy to remove cover and wipe clean. The seat gives lots of leg room and my son is loving the extra space compared to his old seat and loves feeling grown with all his drink holders and toy/snack holders. Cons however, though the seat is marketed as easy to install with latch hooks. It was by far the hardest seat I've ever tried to install. Even with the instructions it took me forever to find the bottom latches only to discover that they don't work in my mini van for where I have my child seated (second row next to the door for easy in and out) while I did love the back V shaped tether, even with it and the lapbelt I felt like the bottom of the seat moved more than I felt comfortable with. It would be better with the click lock technology and so much easier to install while leaving me feeling comfortable that it is secure. Overall I think it is a strong, nice looking seat that is great for a spacious back seat with easy latch access and would recommend for anyone that falls into that category.

We were already starting to search for booster seats, as my 6 year old (small for his age) would need one in a year or two. Our current car seat did not switch to a booster; so we knew that we would need something new soon. The Harness-2-Booster is perfect! Currently, my 6 year old is able to use it was a car seat. Installation was quick and easy! We were even able to switch it between my car and a friend's car for a day with zero hassle. It's not the most light weight car seat (but lighter than our previous one), but I was able to carry it with no problem. The clasp in the back is easy to manipulate because it has an easy to open and close tab. The car seat has very clear and simple to read instructions as to where to pull the seat belt through. I am able to install it by myself quickly and easily. The seat is comfy for my kiddo, but also comes with all the regular safety features. I was able to easily adjust the harness to his size and make sure he was snugly in. He loves the drink holders (aka snack holders!), especially because there are two. One for his snack and one for his drink. :) He even spilled food on it already, but it was wiped off easily (gotta love the black!). Overall, we are really satisfied with this seat and are confident that our son will be safe in it while in the car. We love that it will easily convert to a booster when we are ready for it!

My son is thrilled with his new car seat! He is a fairly large 3 year old (41" and 39 lbs) and loves the fit of his new seat. The fabric is comfortable and the little armrests work for his arms. He loves the dual cup holders and uses the little snack holder section to hold his hot wheels cars! This was super easy to install using the anchor system- I was able to click them in with no problem on my own and rethread the strap in between his legs to allow him more space there. Overall I think this is a great car seat that can grow with them into a booster when your kid is ready for that step and until then it's a fantastic 5-point harness seat. When I was told that I was able to try out the Britax grow with you harness to booster car seat FOR FREE...I was thrilled! Thanks to the stellar product testing panel, I was able to give my oldest back his convertible seat (made it a booster) and was able to upgrade my youngest to this one! My first impressions were that this thing is sturdy. It's very heavy (as I feel all britax seats are) and was made to last. The material felt nice, the straps were great quality and the extra pads (buckle and strap covers) were really soft. Then it was time to install. This was really the reason why I gave it 4 stars. At first I thought you could only use your cars seatbelt to secure it. After about 30 min, I finally had found the latch straps. These latch straps are the easy attach/unattachnkomd which is super nice. I also apparently installed the latch straps part (where it goes through the seat) wrong. My husband said it goes in front of the panel, where I swore the instructions said the panel keeps it in place and goes behind it. I don't know. I just don't think the instructions are very clear and it doesn't install the same way others have installed. Like I mentioned above, this is for my 3 yo. He tends to fall asleep in the car a lot. With his other seat, I was able to keep it reclined a bit so it was comfortable for him to sleep. With this seat, he doesn't seem to be very comfortable. It does have a two positions, but they are still too upright for a kid who would use the harness, and falls asleep a lot. He does love the cup holders. It's really easy for him to reach and get his cups out. Also has a little spot for small toys or his car paci as he calls it. Overall, I would recommend this seat because of the brand recognition and quality but installation was a bit more complicated than others I've owned.

For background, we currently have a 5.5 year old and a 2 year old. The car seat being reviewed is being used for our 2 year old who is just under 3'; she was 25 lbs at her last check-up 8 months ago so not sure how much she weighs now. In addition to a Britax B-Safe Infant Car Seat that our kids have grown out of, we own two different brands of car seats that are not to be disclosed--and this is in addition to one other brand we've used in the grandparents' cars belonging to cousins. We had done a TON of research before acquiring the car seats we've had in our stable. We were pleasantly surprised to have received this attractive Harness to Booster Seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Generally, there is a lot of (understandable) grumbling from my husband on having to install car seats, but I did not hear a peep from him this time around. In interviewing him for this review, he responded that it was the easiest car seat to install, hands down. Trust me when I say that I know that this has nothing to do with the fact that he's installed and reinstalled so many car seats during the kids' lifetimes that he's become a natural at it, because installing a car seat apparently is not the same as getting back on a bike again--you never get use to it. The car seat that we chose to retire had served both of our children well, but it was chosen to be retired for the Harness to Booster Seat because it was this large bucket seat that made inserting and retrieving the kids a struggle. Maybe our 2 year old was just having a really good morning, but she literally jumped at the chance to climb into her new Harness to Booster Seat the first morning after we had the car seat installed. I think she may have been excited that it looked more like a big girl car seat like her sister's car seat right next to hers. It was extremely easy to insert our 2 year old in and it was the easiest car seat to buckle our kids into by far. Difficult to assess the safety features until the worst happens but the safety features appear very standard and satisfactory. The cup and snack holders are a nice bonus as they have been heavily utilized in our family so that we don't have to turn around and hand food to our child while the vehicle is in motion. Overall, we felt that our satisfaction of the Harness to Booster Seat was far superior to that of all the car seats we've tried. We felt very fortunate to have stumbled across this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

I received this car seat as a member of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and was excited to try it out for my 4.5 year old daughter. The first thing I love is that it was instantly ready to install straight out of the box with no setup required. The next thing that I liked was how easy it was to install into the car. I used a seatbelt to install it and loved that there was a clear path of where the belt went and, while other carseat belt paths require that you cram your hand into a tiny space to pass the belt through, I could pull the belt through this path without any injuries to my hand. I have since uninstalled and reinstalled it to different seats in my car and each time and grateful for how easy it is to move! My daughter finds the seat very comfortable and loves all the cupholders. The harness is easy to loosen and tighten and does not require using superhuman strength to properly tighten it. The only complaint I have for this carseat is the adjustment for the best fit. I have 3 kids in car seats and they occasionally swap seats. I put my son in the seat and had a hard time lowering the headrest to an appropriate height for him. After a brief struggle I was able to lower it and then later raising it to my daughters height was a breeze. This is the only part of the seat though that does not seem as smooth. Overall, I find this to be a fantastic carseat and one that my daughter will have for the foreseeable future because it is designed to grow with her from a 5-point harness to a seat belt booster seat.

I received this Harness to Booster Seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I used it for my 5 year old son and will continue to use it over his other car seat. He uses it in the harness mode. I tend to try to figure things out myself before looking at an instruction manual. I like when products are pretty self explanatory. This car seat was quite simple to install. It's definitely a hefty seat so I had my husband place it where I needed it, but I was able to do the maneuvering needed to get it securely installed. I just had to do some digging behind a panel to find the LATCH straps and connectors. Once I found those it was fairly easy to get those connected, along with the tether in the back. That can all be quite the workout but I didn't find it that difficult with this seat. I was impressed with how little the car seat moved once installed, as I've had to struggle with other car seats to get to that point where they felt safe enough, with little wiggle room. My favorite part of this car seat is how comfortable it is for my son. The first time using it we had to be in the car for a total of 5 hours that day and he didn't complain once. Every parent knows how frustrating it can be to have your child miserable and whining to get out while you're driving. Thankfully we have not had that problem with this seat. I also appreciate the padded disc that goes around the bottom buckle. Always a good feature when you're trying to be careful with using the buckle between a boy's legs. It does slip off pretty easily though when your kid gets out of the seat. I have found it on the floor a few times. I found the adjustment of the straps and the headrest easy to use. I think the one thing I wasn't impressed with is how the straps and chest clip felt. They feel flimsier than our other car seats. That could be possibly one of the reasons it feels more comfortable to my child, but is slightly concerning in how well they would hold up on impact. Not a deal breaker, just something to take note of. I do appreciate the sturdiness of the steel frame though. Overall I think this is a very good seat and I look forward to trying it out in booster mode when the time comes.

I absolutely love this car seat! My favorite thing about this seat has to be the reclining feature; most high back boosters sit up straight, so if you have a toddler who falls asleep in the car this feature will be perfect for you. It reclines almost the same amount as a standard convertible carseat does. It was super easy to install and easy to adjust the straps to have the proper fit. It also has pads for the neck/shoulder area and the tummy area, which my son and myself absolutely love. This car seat is a little bit on the heavy side, but I would 100% sacrifice that for how safe and comfortable it is. I have 100% peace of mind with this seat. I almost forgot to mention that it has cup holders and arm rests!! Seriously cannot be happier with this car seat. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending me this seat!
