This is the only one you need to buy, after your little one outgrows the infant seat. This is easy to use & grows with them. It's been spectacular!

I got this seat for a 5 yr old. It fits with lots of growing room. Its very comfy. You get a tight install in under a minute. I took a star because the booster mode is basicly for 8yrs and up so the lap part of the belt rides to high to use in booster mode without a securegurard clip on a smaller kid, but Britax will give you one if the belt does not fit your child correctly. Its a great seat.

The new design to ease the installation is fantastic. I love it. Reading the instructions took longer than the installation.

I love that this seat is a 5 point harness for bigger kids and its super easy to install. The instruction book is hard to understand the installation but just look at a couple you tube videos and it was easy. Took me literally 10 min. to install 3 in my van!

My seven year old son still fits great in his Frontier 90! Absolutely wonderful seat, super comfortable and top of the line in safety! I love that my tall seven year old can still be secured in a 5-point harness with room to grow. Highly recommend!

I wish it could recline while child fell asleep. Would be more comfortable.

We bought 2 of these car seats back in September when my car was totaled and we needed new car seats.We love our new car seats! They are a little heavy but very sturdy and comfortable for our daughters.A great buy!

Pricey but worth it. Bought 2 at the same time and ouch it was costly but so worth it. Installation took seconds!! Plus its a great product. Safe and no cheap parts. My boys love their britax seats.

Love how easy this seat is to install, its also an awesome seat for those top of the chart preschoolers that are not ready for boosters. Both my 4 and 5yr olds are very happy with the seat and they love the updated cup holders (We also have Frontier 85s but they fight over the new one because they love the cup holder and taller arm rests.)

My 6 year old twin daughters are still in these seats using the 5-point harness! The only issue I've had is that the fabric ripped pretty early on along one of the seams. When they fall asleep when riding they're heads don't fall forward either thanks to the side impact wings.

Bought this seat as a replacement one for my 4yr old. Initally I was a little skeptic because of its size/weight. THIS THING IS HEAVY!!! But I installed it [SUPER EASY!!!! LOVE THE SIMPLICITY OF LATCH BUCKLES!!!], and took my son for a ride. He loves his "race car chair" as he calls it. The straps and buckles adjust very smooth, it positions him correct, over all I was amazed! I also like that it has a recline lever on bottom of it, to give the seat a slight recline so my sleeping child is not flopping forward. The head rests are exactly where they need to be. The cover is easy to brush crumbs off of, and wipe any spill without much hassle. My only complaint is that for as big as this seat is and its cost {holds up to a 120lb kid}, that I wish it coverted to a backless booster. Thus the ONLY reason it for 4 stars instead of 5.

I couldn't be happier with our Frontier 90! This seat is the easiest seat I have ever installed and even a car seat safety tech was impressed by how snug and secure the seat was just using my vehicles seat belt. It's nice being able to keep my 5 year old harnessed and still convert to a booster when she is out of the harness!

I have bought this seat for use in my car as well as ones in my daughters' cars, for my 4 grand kids. My 2 1/2 year old grandson just moved up to this seat from his Roundabout. It's so roomy, as well as safe. My only complaint is that it's so heavy.

My 5 year old has been in this seat since he outgrew the roundabout 50 & loves it. Its comfortable in the straps & crotchet buckle, he loves having both cup holders (one for his cup & the other for his snack) and the fit is great. I love knowing he will be able to use this seat for so long. Plus, I got it in camouflage which makes me love it even more. Love our Britax!!

I bought this seat for my grandson, I love it's easy install and ease of use. How ever, I hate the seat base... The fabric is always coming unhooked and it bunches up on the seat under his butt.... There is also a lack of padding on the seat, only a very thin layer of foam ( less than 2mm ), for the price I would expect a more padded base.... Other wise, it is a great seat, very safe... Just not comfortable enough for the cost....

We upgraded from the Britax Marathon to the Frontier 90 and are thrilled. It is a little more difficult to install, but still straight forward. Our daughter can't stop telling us how comfortable this seat is.

I wonder if there are actually parents of toddlers working in your development department.... I bought the seat for my 3.5 year old daughter. It is great, seams to be safe and sturdy, easy to install, though VERY heavy. She is potty trained, She fell asleep in the car. She peed. Now I can't wash the cover in the washing machine and dry it in the dryer? Thank god I live in California where it is warm. I have four children, the oldest age 15. I have gone through A LOT of carseats in the last 15 years - this is the first one ever I bought that is not machine washable and machine dry able. Wouldn't have bought it if I would have realized it before.

Bought this for Grandma's car and love love love the ClickTight install! Super easy to adjust the back and I did not have any issues getting the straps tight, but I am used to a ratching type tightening system on another seat....pull and stop, pull and stop...repeat until you are to the desired tightness. We are excited that out BIG two year old will be 5 point harnessed to 90 lbs! This is a great seat, expect nothing less from Britax.

I bought this seat with the Ultimate Comfort Series 2 weeks ago for my daughter whom is 2.5 years old and hard to please. She has not complained once and always falls asleep in the car now. This seat installs in seconds with the seat belt and does not move at all. The seat seems very safe and that's what we wanted for our little girl. I will mention that it is a little hard to tighten the harness when she is sitting in the seat but it looks like I am not the only one with this problem and it is a minor one in my opinion because I always am able to get it tight. Overall you can stop looking for a seat because this one is the best by far.

This is a great seat. The only thing I have problems with is changing it to other vehicles. It is super heavy and bulky. I will do it only because it is one of the safest seats available.

Great seat, click tight is the best invention since they started making car seats. My only complaint is with tensioning the child straps, as mentioned in other reviews this is extremely difficult. I have figured out you need to reach behind the seat take up the slack as you are tightening th front strap. It is very heavy as well, but that is expected based on the the level of safety features in this seat. This is our third Britax and wouldn't think to buy any other seat, they all seem subpar to this Britax and my child is worth it.

The the seatbelt-mounting mechanism of Frontier 90 really is as easy and secure as advertised. It really did only take a few seconds and is secured to the car rock-solid. It seems very strong and protective. It also is reasonably compact, front-to-back, so the front seats in a smaller car can be slid back fairly far still leaving room for your kid's legs. There is an attachment point on the pad just under the shoulder straps that comes un-velcro'ed often but that's not a big deal. The bigger issue is that the harness is extremely hard to tighten with a kid in the seat. It takes a ton of force to pull the strap enough that the harness tightens sufficiently around your kid. Ultimately, it stops and you cannot pull it at all. On every other seat I've used, the harness tightens smoothly, easily and precisely. This is a real frustration with the Frontier 90 that otherwise seems like an excellent seat.

We bought this seat when our son turned 4 (about three months ago). I wanted something that was safe and secure but I also wanted him to feel like a big kid. We looked at a similar Recaro product but it still surrounded him so much that it still seemed like a convertible car seat (also the cars buckle that was being used pushed his tiny self forward and was very uncomfortable for him). We then went the Britax route. I didn't think I would care, but I love the cup holders! I can pass a small snack to him and he has the perfect place to put it when he's finished (instead of distracting mom while I'm driving and trying to get me to take it...LOL). The straps don't seem to tighten as much as I feel they should but he always seems very secure. This may just be an angle issue as he sits much more upright in this than he did in his Boulevard. Maybe Britax is aware of this and it's no big deal, maybe not...I'm still looking in to it. The straps raise and lower very conveniently as with our older Britax. And this seat is super easy to install. The ClickTight technology is awesome! This seat is a breeze to take out and install in Dad's car and then back into Mom's. My son seems quite comfortable (as in he's 4 and has not complained about a single thing...this is BIG) and can see out of the window easily. We chose the zebra pattern for fun and, so far, it's been easy to keep clean (I think they put black fabric in all of the right places :) )

I was excited about the improvements made to this seat over the 85, which I also have. But that enthusiasm didn't last long. My son has been using this seat for maybe a year and the seat cover no longer fits properly. It hasn't been machine washed or dried, and was only taken off for a hand washing one time. Since then it has never fit right. The clips on the bottom cover do not hold at all and the cover is constantly slipping off. No matter what I do, the clips just don't "clip" on to the seat. I could buy a replacement cover, but I feel that a seat costing as much as this one shouldn't be having problems like this. This is my fourth Britax seat, the third that has had some kind of major problem. Maybe I'm just unlucky, I don't know.
