We are very happy with the car seats. They are comfortable, easy to install and seem well made. It is disappointing that the expiry is 7 years (as opposed to 10 years). It is also disappointing that the seat we received is over a year old already.

It looks comfortable for my child. Everything is working well. The only negative point is that there's not a lot of reclining position.

I bought this for my son 1 year old and i like a lot. Easy to set up and very quick.

Not the cheapest but when you consider its good till 65 lbs and 49" so the difference between it and cheaper seats turns out to be a few dollars more a year, small price to pay for safety! Love Britax as it well made. Sturdy with steel enclosure and lots of padding. Very well made harness. Easy to install and fits snugly into car. Harness takes some muscle to tighten properly but well worth the sense of security. Feels like a very safe seat. Not possible to rate impact protection at this time and hope I never do, but it feels as if protection would be very good, ratings say it is.

I just bought this 5 days ago. It was easy to understand directions and install. But it smells really bad. The package was sealed, the bag around it was even air tight. Not sure what could have happened, but it smells like urine. I used it the day after I got it. My daughters clothes ended up smelling like it as well. The smell transferred. So far I am not a happy camper. Not very happy with my purchase yet. I will give it time to air out completely though. Although I still don't like that I would have spent so much on a smelly seat. It looks like the construction is well made, and that is the only reason I may stick with it. My daughters safety is most important. Her head doesn't fall forward like other car seats I have had for other children. Also the belts come up from the bottom in an odd place, they either cover the whole thigh or I have to tuck them in so she can move her legs freely, but then the velcro is scratching her skin. Lose-Lose. Just not happy with this purchase yet.

I was lucky enough to be a part of a Stellar Product testing panel in order to receive and review this car seat. Upon opening the box my first impression was that it was a very sturdy car seat that felt like it was built with safety and comfort in mind, but not portability or a compact size. The padding was very nice, although the head rests have very stiff pieces under the padding that feel a little uncomfortable to me, but my child didn't seem to mind. I like how the reclining adjustment is easy to get to, its a little hard to move at times (putting in the car and adjusting was a little tricky for rear facing) but I like the idea. I also like the fact that adjusting the height of the shoulder straps is done by pulling up on the handle as opposed to having to take off the cover and pull the straps though like other car seats. It is heavy and bulky so it isn't the kind of car seat you want to have to move between vehicles. It also might not work well if you have a small car-especially for rear facing as it may hit the back of the seat in front of it. I have an SUV and it is full of kids in car seats, boosters, and without anything, so this was not the easiest fit as it is a bit wide. Over all I feel like it is made well and has nice safely features- I also like how the straps are covered with a thin rubber piece instead of those thick fabric things. It was a little tough to get it into my car, especially the center seat. When I moved it to a window seat, it was a little easier. The latch system is really nice so I didn't bother trying to install it using the seat belt method. As mentioned before, it is a little on the heavy and bulky size, so I felt like I kind of had to really struggle with that in the install versus a lighter smaller seat. My fave feature by far is how easy it is to adjust the height of the shoulder straps. It is so frustrating to put you child in a seat only to realize after they are buckled that the straps are too low- in other seats I have had, You have to take the child out, pull the straps off and it can be another 10-15 minutes before it is all put back together to install! The Emblem just has a handle and within seconds, the straps are adjusted comfortably.

The Britax Emblem Convertible Car Seat is a great seat. It is really easy to use, starting with the latch system. I love that each side has its own tightening strap, it makes it much easier to get tight. The sliding shoulder strap adjuster is also a huge bonus, no need to thread/unthread the shoulder straps through new holes as baby grows. My baby is 9 months and he seems comfortable both when awake and asleep. My only complaints are small; the shoulder strap adjustment doesn't slide smoothly, and it would be nice to have more than three recline levels. But those are small issues and overall it's a great seat. I was excited to receive this car seat as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel for allowing our family to test out this convertible car seat. I was able to install the car seat on my own without my husbands help. The latch connectors made the installation so easy and secure. My daughter is using the car seat rear facing for now and this is great for her to grow into. You can remove the fabric to wash which is a huge plus for me. It comes with a pillow that is removable and I definitely would've used it if she was a newborn. I do want to note the car seat does not come with a cup holder attached. I appreciate the sleek design and look of it overall.

This has helped a lot and i will use it for a while. It has a lot of features and can transform with the baby growing with age. Easy to install and is lightweight. I love the fabric and way it fits in the car and doesn't take much space. I got this at stellar product testing panel.

I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I absolutely love this car seat! It is not bulky like other items I have tested out. The cover is extremely easy to clean and wasn't difficult to install at all. Our 10 month old is in it and never falls asleep in car seats.. I mean never. He has fallen asleep MULTIPLE times in this. The seats are very comfortable and I feel very safe with the extra side impacts around his head. Britax never disappoints so I'm not surprised that I loved this! Cannot wait to use this in our little guys next stage!

Install for this car seat couldn't have been easier. The Stellar Product testing panel sent me this at the perfect time, just when my daughter had outgrown her infant car seat. I think it took me 3 minutes to install this car seat - which is a first! Overall not very bulky or heavy but still looks and feels very safe; I'm confident my daughter is safe while in the car. I do wish it had cup holders, that is the one negative. The black color is complementary to our car's interior and my daughter seems to be comfortable and loving her new seat!

I have been using this car seat for a couple of weeks now with our 20 month old daughter. She is about 26 lbs and 30" tall. I was given this Convertible Car Seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. First, the pros: The car seat is made with a very nice fabric that is easy to wipe down, if necessary. It is not heavy, definitely lighter than the car seat we used previously. There is Velcro on the straps and the side of the car seat. This is so great to hold the straps out of the way while loading a child in the seat. This would have been so useful to have when my daughter was younger. Installation was a breeze. The latch system is easier than others we have used, and it took almost no effort to get it tightened correctly. No more sitting in the car seat, pulling with all my might, and breaking out into a sweat! The car seat has a smaller footprint than other seats as well... this can be a positive, but also leads me to some of the negatives... Cons: The seat is very narrow compared to our previous car seats. This isn't an issue with smaller children, but I'm not sure how comfortable it will be going forward as my daughter gets bigger. When the car seat is in the 3rd recline position, the seat still seems like it isn't reclined enough. The manual says it should be between 30-45 degrees, and it was definitely closer to the 30. This made it a tighter fit to actually get my daughter into the seat when installed in the car. There is also no level on the car seat, which makes it much harder to gauge if it is installed and angled correctly. Every other seat I've used has had this feature, so that was a bummer. There is a lot going on with the straps. There are the soft shoulder pads, and then where the chest buckle is, there are also rubber pads that I found didn't add function and got in the way more than anything. I found it a little more difficult to get a proper fit, but with practice, it gets easier. No cup holder! Our kids always have drinks, and not having a cup holder is an inconvenience, but not a deal breaker. Overall, this was a quality, safe, functional car seat. It had some nice features that others don't, and with a few tweaks, I would definitely rate this one a 5.

This Convertible car seat has some really great features, especially for rear-facing. I love the recline feature, which not many seats have. I am able to easily recline my child when they fall asleep, of course still staying within the safe angle, instead of worrying about his head hanging forward. I love the no thread harness, cause that is pain having to uninstall the seat just to adjust the harness. I love the clicktight easy installation. You definitely have to put some weigh into the seat to get it to click, but you know it is a tight installation without the guess work. Forward-facing it would be nice to have a cup holder. It is a pretty heavy and wide seat so make sure your vehicle has room, and it isn't one I would recommend changing between cars; it's HEAVY. This seat lasts until 65lbs so we will be using it for a while. I love how plush and comfortable the fabric is. I definitely recommend this to parents. I received this convertible car seat as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and was disappointed because my arthritic fingers (I have rheumatoid arthritis) found the chest clip and harness buckles very difficult to release, making it impossible to use daily. This is a nice looking car seat but I would be concerned about the black fabric absorbing heat in the summer. Also beware of milk or yogurt stains on the black (I have the all-black model). I like the impact absorbing chest pads--I've never used a car seat with those before and they seem like a great safety and comfort feature. I also like how the straps attach to the side of the seat with Velcro when open--no more fumbling around looking for the straps because your child is sitting on them! Overall, this seems like a great basic car seat, lightweight but sturdy (I can lift it with one hand) and easy to adjust (perfect for travel!). There are no bells and whistles (no cup holder!). And there doesn't seem to be much cushion or padding on the headrest, it's just a metal frame with the thin cover on top.

I'm so thankful to the Stellar Product Testing Panel to have been able to test the Emblem 3 stage convertible car seat in exchange for an honest review. I have three kids and have never been able to find a car seat that was safe, comfortable, and easy to install so I was so excited to try this one! My first impression was that the fabric was very well made and the cushioning was very soft. I could tell just from first look that it had many safety features. I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was it install. The latch system is very strong and easy to figure out. It took me only a few minutes to get the car seat in safely. I have a 17 lb. baby so I installed this in the reverse position. I had to loosen the straps some since it fits small babies to large but that wasn't a problem. I have a Toyota Tundra truck and the car seat was installed in the backseat with 2 other car seats. It fit perfect, no hanging off the seat and it wasn't too wide so it was perfect. My little one loved it when I put him into it, I could tell he was very comfortable. The only part that will take some getting use to is that there is so much padding it's hard to get him into it without adjusting the head support. I was really excited to get this car seat as I've heard amazing things about Britax car seats. First thing I noticed when I received it and took it out of the box was how light it was. I was able to pick it up with one hand and move it. I also like the material - it seems like it will be easy to clean which is a plus in my book and it is really soft. Seems really comfortable. It took a bit to figure out how to recline the seat to position 3 (for rear facing car seat) but once I figured it out I couldn't believe how easy it was - it literally has a lever in the front. Installing the car seat in the car was also click using the click connect. I had it in the car ready to go and was ready to see how my baby will like it especially since we had a longer drive ahead of us. Put my baby in the car and it did not feel right at all. The seat belt ran across his legs, not this hips. It was cutting into my kids legs. I kept trying to adjust but I was not having luck and I could tell my kid was uncomfortable and did not like it. As we were pressed for time, I removed the car seat from the car and installed his infant car seat back. After our trip, I took some more time to play around with adjusting the car seat. Removing the infant seat pad along with adjusting the head rest helped. I put my 10 month old in and the seat belts laid correctly over his shoulders and waist/hips. He did not look uncomfortable - on the contrary, he seemed to like. Have not driven anywhere since I was able to get it adjusted so my son fits in there comfortably but I think he will like it and look forward to our next drive using this car seat. I gave this review 4 stars instead of five due to the difficulty I had in getting it adjusted correctly for my son and also because it does not have a cup holder, not does it have a place to buy and attach a cup holder. This 3 stage convertible car seat from Britax is a solid choice. It was fairly easy to install. Love the fast this this will grow with my child; he is only one years old so he will be able to use it up to 65 lbs! The one issue that I do have is that it lacks at least one cup holder. I feel like its a must-have and why I only have this four-stars. I received this product free from the Stellar Product Testing Panel but all opinions are my own.

Overall, I really liked the Emblem car seat. My almost four-year-old fit great and seemed to be super comfortable. The material was really soft and luxurious feeling. The car seat was easy to install as well, whether it was forward-facing for my four-year-old or rear-facing for my one and a half year old (we tested the car seat out with both). The only negative with installing the car seat was that there wasn't a bubble level or something similar to show that the seat was installed levelly. The car seat fit really well into the seats of my minivan, though. And I loved that it was slightly more narrow than our previous car seat. This is where my second complaint comes in, though. There are no cup holders on the car seat. It isn't a deal breaker, but it's something my four year old was not very happy about. My only other complaint is that my one and a half year old fit somewhat awkwardly in the car seat. She is super tiny, so we're kind of used to her not fitting things properly. I think with any average-sized child, this wouldn't be a problem at all, though (it wasn't for my four year old). And another definite plus is that with the car seat being black, it doesn't stain easily which is a huge deal with you do a lot of travelling! Overall, I really liked this car seat. We will definitely keep using it because, even without the cup holders, it's the best option for when we need to move car seats around for another baby (and therefore needed to put the four year old in back with other kids). I'm so glad we got this car seat when we did. We were needing one for my husbands truck because who likes to transfer car seats from car to car. Installing is was so easy and didn't take the normal 15 minutes it can take to install others. No sweating, no cursing, just easy. That's always a big A+ in my book. My son seems comfortable in it and we love the safety features. One thing that we would love is built in cup holders. Not a deal breaker though. I have exclusively bought Britax carseats in the past for my children, so I was excited for the Emblem 3. My 1.5 year old boy is using it, rear-facing. - This carseat is spacious and does not crush him against the back of the seat, is easy to get him in and out of the car without hitting his head, and he looks comfortable, falling asleep in a restful position. The space is nice since I intend to keep him rear-facing as long as possible. -It is safe but also does not discount comfort. The carseat material is silky smooth, wipes off easily, and keeps cool for my sweaty boy. It feels VERY sturdy and has a thick cushion of support around the head. The straps are well padded and don't leave marks on his neck when he falls asleep. There's also a cushion behind the buckle so it does not dig into my son. It's black so hides stains. -The carseat was very easy to install and fit easily in my smaller Prius and my husband's Subaru. It feels sturdy and does not move around. -The height of the straps adjusts easily via the red handle on the top which has been the bane of my existence with every other carseat. It also is exceedingly easy to loosen the straps by a button on the base of the carseat - when rushing around to work or elsewhere, this part is essential. -A cool extra feature is there is Velcro on the sides of the seat that allow you to attach the straps before putting your child in so you aren't digging for the straps underneath them when buckling them in. Cons: -I wish it had cup holders so I could put his water and his little toy cars in there since he inevitably drops them. -We haven't head to clean it yet, which I'm not looking forward to since it has a lot of pieces of fabric. For now, it has worked just wiping it off. -Not a con, but I cannot speak to how it works with infants since I only just started using mine with my toddler. I've installed my fair share of carseats. I usually end up frustrated and sweaty after 20 min of fighting just for the seat to STILL have wiggle. For that reason, I never remove them for others to use when they take my kids. They just get the whole truck. The Emblem 3 Stage seat changes all that. Under 5 minutes at 1st install. I have never imagined a car seat could be so easy to install all the while keeping my baby safe and cozy. And of course it looks amazing in my truck! As a mother of two girls (3.5 and 14 months) I have some experience with car seats. Overall, the Britax Emblem is a dream. It has a narrow footprint, is lightweight but sturdy, is easy to install, feels very secure in the car and is very easy to get my kids in and out of. The most notable feature was the ease of installation. My husband has always installed our car seats because I find it too difficult (and we've always had to watch numerous YouTube videos to get it right). The lower anchors (new to me) were so simple when installing forward facing. The installation was 7 steps and took me about 5 minutes. The process was easy enough that I would even feel comfortable having grandparents install the car seat in their cars. The recline, head support and strap adjustments were very straightforward. It was easy to get both my 3.5 year old (forward facing) and 14 month old (rear facing) comfortably set up in a couple of minutes. PROS: easy install; material is soft and I love the all black (no dirt); the velcro strap holders make it easy to find the straps when putting kids in; the bottom buckle pad is attached (I can't tell you how many times those have fallen off/gotten lost on my other car seats); the straps were easy to tighten/loosen; both of my children felt very secure in their respective installations (truly a car seat that can grow with your kids). CONS (and they aren't deal breakers): there are only 3 recline settings (I am honestly not sure that you'd need more but I have used car seats with dedicated forward and rear facing recline settings); the velcro strap holders may get caught on kid's clothes (coming from a mom of a girly girl with big flow-y dresses); the shoulder straps could be a little larger; no cup holders. Overall, this is a very versatile, easy to install, safe, high-value and high-quality car seat. I will definitely recommend this to both my friends and family. Where do I start? When this car seat arrived, I was impressed with the quality! The padded, adjustable headrest, storage slots for the anchors so they're not swinging away at my shin bones and solid, yet narrow base gave me hope (since we have three kids in a combination of car seats and a booster). Installation was a breeze without my husband's help and my nails done. The When I tell you THIS car seat delivers on style(sleek and black so it goes with our many outfit changes and will hide dirt until its time for a wash), functionality( there is a one-handed button to adjust the shoulder straps!) and comfort( my princess is sitting on a padded pillow for her little bum to stay comfy during our extended rides) along with the impact adjusting chest pads is icing on the cake! Oh, and did I mention this car seat also meets FAA standards? That's right it's approved for in flight use while traveling with your little munchkins. They must have had input from a ton of moms when creating this car seat because it covers EVERYTHING. And no, it does not have a cup holder and DOES NOT need one. If I had to choose a cup holder vs. a sleek design to fit three seats in my sedan, I would choose the Britax Emblem 3 Stage Convertible car seat ten times over. I will admit that I was not quite ready to move from my infant bucket seat but I am so glad we made the switch. This seat was so easy to install. It took maybe 5 minutes to install it on the captain's seat in our SUV. The seat is super comfortable and my daughter loves it. It reminds me of a cozy recliner. My favorite part, after struggling with multiple other seats, is how easy it is to tighten the straps and make sure that the baby is safe. I was always nervous about the grandparents buckling in the kids but I have no worries with this seat. I would definitely recommend this seat to a friend - even a picky one! I was given this car seat through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I am impressed! I have 5 children, so I have tried a lot of car seats and this is my favorite by far! I love the extra padding that allows for a better fit with smaller children. It's also removable so that bigger children can be comfortable as well. The shoulder height is adjustable by pushing a button and pulling the back up or down.This is so convenient as many other seats need the straps to be removed and repositioned in order to adjust height. The seat is made of good quality materials and I definitely feel safe with my child riding in this seat!

The base seems to be interchangeable with other Britax seats. Just double check the car seat can be used with your Britax stroller before purchasing this item. Comes in different patterns to fit your lifestyle or wants.

The headrest was so easy to adjust for my son's height. I loved that the latches are attached to the side of the seat. The material of the seat is very padded and easily spot cleans. I haven't had to wash it but when my son spilled yogurt on it I just wiped it clean with a moistened cloth & it came right out and dried quickly. The reclining feature is great and easy to use, the 5 point harness keeps me feeling secure in the fact that my child is safe. Some things that I would like to see improved are that the color is black and from the research i've done it only comes in that dark color. Living in the desert this is an issue for us as it gets so hot that I I cannot sit my child inside until i've turned on the AC. Another issue is that there is no cupholder. I would also like to see a no rethread system to this just to make it easier in general. I wish it was slimmer. I really enjoyed testing this and can definitely tell that my son loves it, it has made our trips much easier and quieter. I would recommend this seat to friends but they would get a longer life out of it if they started from birth. It is a great seat. I am a mom of a three year old and a two month old, I know my way around car seats. Upon first impression, this car seat seems well made and sturdy. Over the past couple weeks, I've tried it with both kids, rear facing only (just for convenience of not needing to turn it around). Pros: * Easy install. My truck only has a latch system in the middle, so I installed using the seat belt. It was an easy process. For those not so knowledgeable with car seats, the instructions and pictures right on the seat itself seams more than enough to guide you through install, and putting a child in. * Easy minor clean-ups. My two month old (of course) decided to test having to clean the seat. He had a minor (thankfully) diaper blowout while in the seat. I was able to thoroughly clean the seat with a microfiber cloth. The infant pillow he sits on caught most of it, and that slips right out too, which made it easy. * Velcro for seat belt. I hate having to struggle with the belts constantly falling to be under the child while I try to put him into it. The velcro that holds the belt up out of the ways seems genius. While unbuckling, the velcro automatically catches the belt and keeps it out of the way. So much easier then previous systems I've dealt with. My only concern is with use, velcro may not last through the life of the seat. * Adjustable between kids. Moving the straps up and down for use between my kids (or as your child grows) was incredibly easy. As is adjusting the angle on the seat (just be sure the latch or belt is still tight when adjusting the angle). * Comfort. He's three so take it as you will, but my three year old loves the seat. It is shiny and new. Cons: * No removable bucket seat for infants. As easy as this seat is to use, I missed being able to strap my two month old in in the house and click into a base at the truck. Or bringing the whole bucket seat into a shopping cart while I shop at a store. * Level line for install. I could not find one. Every other car seat I've used, it either has a line to be visually level with the ground, or an actual floating level. I am confident with the angle and install and wasn't concerned, but it's strange I couldn't find one. * My three year old hasn't noticed yet, but there's no cup holder. At first, when I saw the box, I was a little hesitant because it looked huge and felt like it weighed a lot. After getting it out of the box, my daughter immediately jumped into the box to play, while we started to look over the car seat. My initial reaction to the seat was how nice and sleek it looked. Right after, I noticed how slim the base was and that made me really happy. I immediately went to my car and installed the seat, rear-facing, using the LATCH connectors - it literally took me a minute to do it, so easy. I was beyond excited to see that the seat fit in my back seat next to the infant car seat base and my toddler booster that were already in the car. We are currently expecting our third so having a seat that could fit with our existing chairs was extremely important to us. As soon as I strapped my daughter into her seat I could tell she was loving it. She wasn't fussing around or trying to get out of her seat, she was comfortable! There is a good amount of padding for comfort and to cushion any impact that may occur. I also loved that the chest clip was rubber because it wouldn't bug her too much like the others that were hard plastic did. A couple of days into the car seat and my daughter threw up in her chair. It wasn't too bad so I spot cleaned and I was shocked how quick and easy it was to clean and how effective the spot clean was. There was no smell that remained or anything - it was great! All-in-all we absolutely love this car seat and will continue to use it until she's too big for it!

I really love the Emblem 3 Stage Convertible Car Seat by Britax. The fabric and cushioning of the seat feels luxurious! We installed rear facing for my one year old and the LATCH system was easy and quick to securely install in my car. My baby looks very comfy and cozy in there and it is simple to get the little wiggle worm strapped in quickly. Adjusting the straps was painless too! This is a really great all around seat. I received this car seat from Stellar Product Testing Panel to try out and I absolutely love it! The first thing I noticed is how easy it was to adjust as baby grows, all you have to do is pull a little lever right at the top, no need to pull out the straps like some of the other car seats we have owned. Installation was a breeze, the manual isn't difficult to follow but I always prefer watching videos on how to do it, and there were a few online! Since our son is almost 2, we skipped the first stage and went to the rear facing toddler stage. The little guy seems really comfortable and content, even on longer car trips. The best part, the fabric makes it so easy to clean, much less hassle than other car seats! The only thing I wouldn't have liked is using this as an infant seat, since you cant easily pull it out if baby is sleeping, but we don't need to worry about this at our son's age. Overall, I highly recommend.

Just got this car seat for my 15 month old and he loves it! We had Britax car seats for my other children so we knew that the Britax brand is a reliable brand.Like all Britax brand car seats, it comes with latch hooks to install the car seat or you can easily thread the shoulder strap. I love this car seat as it can grow with my baby and not worry which car seat to get next when he out grows it. Yes it doesn't have cup holders for older kids but there are attachments that are easily purchased for the car seat. Like all Britax car seats, the seat is very sturdy and the fabric felt thick and soft. The new fabric for this car seat is far better than the older model. I received this Convertible Car Seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was able to try it out with 3 of my kiddos, all different ages/sizes, and therefore can give a thorough review. I installed the car seat rear facing for my 10mo (27", 17lbs) and 2yo (34", 26lbs), forward facing for my 5 yo (41", 35lbs). First off, installing this seat was a breeze. I love the convenience of adjusting the harness height with one hand. Changing the position of the seat is also easy to do. The padding on this seat feels incredibly cushy and comfortable, especially the infant positioning pillow. Definitely a "grow with me" car seat, which is AWESOME! This is my first experience using the Britax brand. I am not sure why I didn't get one sooner!

This seat looks really nice, with clean lines and minimal warning tags (needed but not always nice looking). The fabric feels really nice and while I plan to use this for my infant, my 3 year old thinks it's comfortable and soft. It is also SO easy to remove and I sincerely appreciate that! It is easy to install by latch and belt and I like to have both options as we do move it to my parents car at times. It's also quite light and easy to move. I really like the ease of adjusting the straps, rethreading is such a nuisance. The grippy material on the belt is also so helpful to keep everything in place and the padding in this area is also quite plush. All of this is nice but the main reason I want I car seat is to keep my kiddos safe and I was surprised that this actually had a better safety rating than my current more expensive one! My only concern is the padding around the head, while feeling quite plush, feels too far apart to really support a newborn. This may be a safety feature or not totally needed given the recline, it just seems to give too much space (not at all a problem for the older sibling). We received the Emblem 3 Stage Convertible Car Seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for our honest review. Unboxing the Emblem car seat and installing it into our car was extremely easy. I loved how the LATCH system doesn't need to be rethreaded to go from forward to rear facing. I also found it much easier to adjust than my other car seats. My son is now 1 years old so I put the car seat in the rear facing mode. The recline was simple to adjust for proper positioning. Once it was set up, we put my son into it. I liked how there was a lot of padding all around him. There is even an extra seat pad for smaller children, which we didn't need for him. We found it simple to adjust the straps, both by raising the headrest and loosening with the strap. Although we haven't needed it, we also appreciate the SafeCell and Side Impact protections. Safety is very important to us and we like knowing that he would be protected. Overall, it seems like a great car seat. Has the safety features you expect with a Britax carseat as well as plenty of comfort for the baby. Peace of mind for mom and dad!
