I bought this car seat in late 2014 and have been using it since Jan 2015. I have not had any major issues with it in almost 6 months and it still looks new even with daily use. Yes, sometimes the straps get tangled, but it's really only a minor inconvenience. I find it easy to adjust the straps and haven't had issues with one strap being tighter than the other. The seat is heavy to carry around, but I think I would be concerned about the safety of a very lightweight seat. Very easy to use with the B-READY stroller. Unlike another reviewer, I have not had problems with attaching some hanging toys to the bar to entertain my son while out and about. Overall, I feel that my son is very safe in this car seat and he seems to be comfortable in it.

We purchased this with the complete Bob B Safe Travel System. It's easy to move from car to car, and we ended up just buying a second base to make it even easier.

I have had this car seat for 3 months now and I love it! It was super easy to install and when I took it to have it checked by our fire department they said it was one of the best car seat systems they have seen. We used the anchors. The car seat easily locks and unlocks from the base. Transferring to the bob utility stroller is just as easy too. It snaps in and you are on your way. The material is easy to clean but I do have to say it does get a little hot. I have never had my son drenched in sweat but his back has been a little moist before. The canopies on both the car seat and stroller are sufficient. I have had the canopy pop out before but that's because I pulled a little too hard. Otherwise it moves very easily. The belt stays in place and hasn't tangled. I don't regret our purchase.

We have been using the car seat for just over 5 months now. I bought it for the safety aspect. This is my first child so I don't have other car seats to compare to but what I know about this one: The gray padded insert, hate it! While it is durable (can be cleaned in case of diaper leak) the material is terrible for the baby to lay on. He sweats so much even when it's not hot! It's not him, as he doesn't sweat like this when seated/laying on other materials. I will also mention the Britax BAgile stroller in this review because I imagine many parents will purchase together as we did. Initially using the car seat with the stroller was great but once my son hit the 15lbs mark I noticed the stroller becoming increasingly difficult for me to maneuver. Forget using one hand, that's not even possible for me or safe. I feel like if I hit a bump the whole thing will tip over. It can barely even go straight without forcefully guiding the stroller. My son is probably about 19lbs now I am not at all comfortable using it in the stroller at this point. I can't even imagine a 20+lbs baby in this thing, like pushing a stroller in sand I imagine! The stroller by itself is fine.

We bought the Britax 35 when our son was born. After extensive research trying to find the safest and most comfortable carseat, we decided that Britax was for us. We bough the travel systems which included the B-Agile stroller and BSAFE 35. We have had absolutely no complaints over the 9 months we've been using it! Our son loves his seat and stroller. Definitely satisfied with the product and highly recommend this!

The LATCH feature for securing the seat in the car does not tighten well. The design with the straps in the middle of the base where they are pulled to tighten does not work well, as the user does not get much to grab onto/it's in a confined space to get a good hold to really tighten. Even the state police representative inspecting the seat could not get them to hold tight; the base still moved side to side more than 1 inch. I don't recommend using the latch to install the base, use the seat belt with the lock-off feature. This secures the base much better.

After doing research on car seats for our first child, I found the safety ratings and quality to be much higher than the competition. Britax is the only car seat manufacturer with a history in the automotive industry and it shows. We had someone from Dartmouth Hitchcock pediatrics verify the installation of the base. when we told them what brand it was, they spoke highly of it and stated that their children and grand-children only use Britax.

This is a great seat! Even the car seat inspectors at the installation at the hospital were impressed with the quality! Can't wait for our baby to use it!

The car seat is deep and uncomfortable on the walls and the children are always very warm. so far I think only the car is good. should think not only protection but also comfort the infant. I hope to take up these words, as I had q buy another travel system.

The first and most important defect on this item is the material it is made out of. My baby wakes up drenched with sweat ONLY in this car seat. I have experimented in other car seats (in hotter temperatures) and it doesnt make him sweat and break out. Second, the buckles almost always get tangled and twisted. It takes me more time to buckle my child in this car seat because I have to take time and untwist the belt every time. Lastly, the sun shade on top is very flimsy. It comes off (only on one side - for some reason, the other side is perfectly stable) from the socket and I have to re-insert it back into the socket every time I open or close the sun shade. It also isnt long enough and when baby is rear facing in the back seat, the sun hits his face despite the fact that the sun shade is pulled over his face. His cheeks almost always get red. Its almost obsolete to have the sun shade because it is not effective and if you really want shade, you have to find another way to block the sun. having the sun shade is an extra task because it doesnt work, and it causes more time to re-insert it back from the socket because it always breaks off. Poorly made, without taking mothers into consideration, but, it is safe. So, if you want ONLY safety, this is the car seat for you. However, you have to work for it. My poor baby had issues because of the sweating this car seat was causing him. I have finally decided to use another car seat, and the break outs on his head have stopped, and he doesnt wake up soaking wet. My poor son!! It took forever for me to realize that it was the car seat causing the sweating. But now that I know, I wish I had read some reviews (because a lot of others have had this issue) and I wish I knew in advance that this car seat is making the baby sweat more than he should. i have had other britax infant carriers that i liked better. while i am sure this is a good seat, and very safe, i wish there was better infant support (head, etc). my son is 8lbs and there is no support for him in this seat. i feel like he needs an insert to help keep him from flopping around.

The base is a terrible design!!!! The latch system does not give enough length to fit in the middle seat of our truck. Even if it did, it's extremely difficult and nearly impossible to get a good, tight, secure fit for the base. Our cars are 2015 and 2008 and should not have problems fitting this base. The base is poorly designed and becomes loose quickly. The certified carseat installers at the fire department agreed with me that this was not the safest base. I wish I had returned this product before using. The actual carseat itself is very nice. Please redesign the base to be more secured.

I bought this seat because it was compatible with the stroller we purchased. I liked the look and style. However. It is very heavy and the clips on the side of the handles digs into my hip when I carry it. The car seat also makes a cracking noise as we walk. That is the most concerning part of this seat.

I bought a year ago and used everyday since these day!!! I don't feel worried about my baby when we travel in the car!!!

I bought my B-Safe Infant Car Seat 2 years ago. It was perfect for my son until he reached 13kg (26 lb). Confortable and very practical since he was a newbourne. Fits perfectly my B-Agile stroller. I'm replacing it for a Britax Convertible Car Seat and already bought a Harness-2-Booster.

This is a great product. I really love Britax products. My only question is: why you don't manufacture the same child seat as Europe?

This car seat is so lightweight even with the weight of the baby you can carry it with one hand, and it is so easy to install with and without the base!

We used this infant carseat from the time my daughter was born until she finally outgrew it at 14 months. I loved how easily it clicked into our B-Ready stroller and how easy the base was to install in the car. The only thing I did not like about it, was that it was a little difficult to clean when she got sick all over the carseat. Otherwise, a fantastic seat that I will recommend to friends!

I received this car seat as a gift. It has been very easy to use and seems extremely well-made and safe. It is way more comfortable than other models, especially as pertains to the shoulder straps. The cushions around the straps make a huge difference.

Baby was hit broadside by golf cart (going 20 mph) while riding in B-Agile stroller while buckled into B-Safe carseat. Thrown 25 feet. Escaped without even a scratch. Handle was up and acted like roll-bar. Police said she shouldn't have lived. Dedicated Britax customer for life.

my son is 3 months old, 24 1/2 inches long and weighs 16 lbs, he no longer fits in it, no room for him to move much his head touches the side pads and his shoulders and arms are stuffed in the car seat, the pads that go on straps around neck area are to thick we took them off and had them off since day one, he cries every time he's in it. I love the car seat I hate that I already have to switch him to your convertible car seat.

First baby, so we wanted something easy, and this was it!!

I've been using this for over a month now and love this car seat. The best part is how easy it is to adjust the headrest height and the straps to the baby as he grows. As many people know a newborn grows rapidly in the first couple months. With this carseat you can move the headrest up easily from the back WITHOUT having to rethread anything. Also since the button to make the straps tighter or looser is easily accessible from the from the seat I am able to change that every week to back sure it is secure on my growing child. Being able to do these two things quickly is great. Even without these two great features the carseat looks amazing and is great!!

Love this car seat! It easily clicks into the car seat base & is just as easy to remove from the car. Love the click and go system that came with our stroller. Would recommend this to anyone.

The biggest downside of this car seat is that the harness pulls down the head cushion and need to be pulled up every time you use the car seat. We also had a lot of issues with the harness straps getting twisted a lot. I don't like that the harness adjustment button is under the cover. I wish I would have purchased the Chicco KeyFit 30.

I am not happy with this Britax carseat. We have the Roundabout 55 and we've had no issues with it in 4 years. The B-safe is not in the same ball park at all! I have seen the reviews about the straps getting tangled. I don't have that problem, but I do have the issue of one strap being tighter than the other (as others have mentioned). I am very disappointed. I was not planning on buying a carseat right now, but I am going to have to. It doesn't seem safe at all. I have also noticed that from the time he was a newborn he is always sweaty (even when it was 20degrees outside). I am looking for a new carseat and it probably won't be Britax.

It's a great car seat; however, it is quite heavy, especially when baby is in it, to carry.

I just purchased the B-Safe and it arrived quickly. Putting it together was a snap with clear and cocise directions. It's lightweight, but roomy for our child. It looks so sharp! We also like how easy it is to attach to the Bob stroller. Can't wait to use it when our daughter comes home!

We bought this car seat for my daughter when she was in the NICU. She was a preemie and other preemie parents suggested this seat. When we brought her home she was 4lbs and we used an insert from the britax website. It's so easy to use and my daughter loves it. She tries to buckle herself in! I love that it's so easy that all my family knows how to buckle her in and that's a big deal for me. It's such a safe seat and as long as she's buckled correctly I don't worry about her at all, I know she's safe.

i got this as a baby shower present and do not advise getting one. the straps do get tangled but if you are in a hurry its even worse, ive been having a problem where one strap on one side will be tighter than the other. now ive looked at the back and had it undone then redone and still i have that problem! my son is now 8mo and when he is in it even my husband can barely carry him and you can kiss those cute stroller toys goodbye cause you cant hook anything onto the carseat or the b-safe stroller. DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!

Bought this in all black online. Its nice and compact I definitely love this carseat. I am having my first baby and have been satisfied with all of the safety and customer reviews that i have read. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

We purchased this car seat when our daughter started fussing with the previous car seat we owned. Immediately we noticed that this car seat was softer and more comfortable for her to sit in. Also, adjusting straps is a breeze. The base looks and feels sturdy enough and installation was very easy. Highly recommend!

I used a different brand for my first child and I will never switch from Britax! It's light, easy to transport, and easy to clean!

This car seat is so uncomfortable for any age specially newborns. I bought all sorts of covers and supporters to go inside the car seat and my daughter was still so uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend this car seat to anyone.

This seat has so many great features, the no re-thread harness is very easy to adjust as is the Click and Safe audible click to make sure the harness is tight enough. The base is a dream to install with either the Lower Anchors or the seatbelt using the build in lock offs
