So disappointed - no headroom for child
June 24, 2015
I have been searching for a jogging stroller for a while and finally decided to spend the money on the BOB Revolution Flex. I wanted to use the stroller with my 18-month old son who is small for his age at 23 pounds and 31.5 inches (20th percentile). I had hoped to be able to use the stroller to jog several times a week for the next few years.
After quickly assembling the stroller, I put my son in it and was so disappointed to find that his head was already touching the closed canopy. Even after figuring out how to gather the plastic window over his head, there is still little space for him to grow. The stroller is rated for 70 pounds, 44 inches (I am sure these are the "safety" limitations); however, my son is already uncomfortable and kept grabbing at the canopy that his head was resting on. He does not like to have the canopy open since it limits his view when riding in our current stroller.
Until the stroller is redesigned to allow more headroom for the child, it looks like I'm out of luck. I can't justify spending so much money on a stroller we can only use for a few months. I hope BOB will find a way to fix this issue, as there seems like there is no reason to allow for so little space for the child.
