You don?t need any other stroller!
April 11, 2020
I was lucky enough to receive this stroller through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. After using it for a few weeks in varying terrains and elements, hands down, you don?t need any other stroller! Ever! Here is start to finish what I thought... Assembly and basics: The new stroller is so easy to assemble right out of the box. It unfolds easily, is lightweight enough, and the wheels click right on. The fabric and overall look is so cool! It?s has a minimalist, but rugged look. Like it can handle anything. The seat is extra padded and reclines easily. I like how secure the harness is. The foot brake is convenient and easy to use also. The hand brake is definitely stiff out of the box. With use, it?s breaking in and easier to grip down. Love the huge canopy and the weather resistant fabric. The storage bin below completely zips closed which comes in handy on the trails or when it?s wet out. The stroller is also decked out in reflective material on the wheels and on the stroller itself, which is an added safety bonus. Use: I?ve used this stroller on sidewalks, roads, gravel, dirt and mud. It pushes through like a breeze! It?s crazy how easy it is to maneuver and how smooth it is. The suspension makes transitioning curbs or bumps in the trail no big deal for my little rider and for me. My little also likes than she can easily pull the canopy down on her own or stash her stuff in the seat next to her. We?ve gone through some good mud puddles and trails and I literally just hosed it off like no big deal! I would say my favorite feature is the smooth riding suspension and just ease of use. I love it! I swear if I sound like a salesman for this stroller, it?s because I would be!! I have already found a new home for our other jogger. I go to this one everyday. If you are wavering on which stroller to use or worried about cost, this stroller is hands down worth every penny and seems like it would last until your kids have kids! Haha!

Finally can safely run with my daughter
April 10, 2020
I was so excited when I got my BOB Gear Alterrain Pro, my daughter is not a good napper and my husband and I love to run 5km during the weekend. Now we are able to do on family runs. When I opened the box was already impressed with how easy it was to setup and the stroller is so slim, but at the same time feels very safe. I never had a stroller with hand breaks and suspension and it definitely makes a difference, it's very smooth, so when you are running it doesn't stop all of a sudden. The wheels size are crazy, and it moved really well around the pond in our neighborhood, kid had so much fun and it's so stable she was able to flip her favorite book pages during our jog. She is also a big girl for her age and the stroller is so smooth that didn't seem heavy and was easy to steer. My only wish was for the stroller to come with a cover to protect from the wind, since is still chilly here that would help break the wind while running. Thanks Stellar Panel for the opportunity to receive such an amazing product.

So smooth!
April 9, 2020
We have had this stroller for just shy of a month now and both my husband and I love it! It adjusts to both our 2.5 year old and 1 year old well (both of which are tall). It handles our very hilly neighborhood well, and is far easier to push than our other stroller. I love the coverage of the canopy for our little one depending on our needs, and that we can tuck the flap up and peek in on her! Initially I worried not having a snack tray might be inconvenient, but the mesh pockets on either side actually work far better anyway! Multiple zippered storage compartments throughout the stroller offer great options for phone, small water bottle, or bigger gear below. The folding mechanism varies from what I?m used to, but after a time or two I found it very easy. More difficult steering even a small amount when the front wheel is locked, but just takes some getting used to. When not running and the front wheel unlocked, it maneuvers great. We have four young children so family walks usually require more than one stroller, and my husband and I are always racing to claim the BOB first! The adjustable handle bar makes switching back and forth (a 9? height difference) very quick. I received this Stroller from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Amazing stroller!
April 9, 2020
The kiddos and I have been enjoying going for runs in our new jogging stroller! This stroller provides a smooth ride for not only the kiddo riding, but is also super easy to push and maneuver for the runner as well. I love the large canopy to keep your little one dry or protected from the sun. One of my favorite features is how easy this stroller is to fold up and store... it stands up all on its own when folded. The front lock wheel, five-point harness, hand brake, and safety wrist strap make this stroller extremely safe while out on a run! Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for this amazing jogging stroller!

Great Running Stroller
April 9, 2020
I received this stroller as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have used other BOB products and so far this is my favorite. They have completely redesigned with this model. Being a runner I found the Alterrain being great for handling all different kinds of terrain. The shocks help with bumpy, rocky trail. The handbrake is a nice feature though I have found that I have not needed to use it. I am known for loosing stuff so the zip-top cargo basket is a nice bonus. One thing that I did noticed that could be annoying is the brake cord getting in the way of trying to get into the cargo bin. Instead of having a pull-cord to collapse there is a handle near the foot well that you push in and twist. This handle allows for an easier and more sturdy means of grabbing and lifting the stroller. The canopy pulls down with ease with nice coverage, has a magnetic flap for the peek-a-boo window, mesh for ventilation and a flap along the back with a zipper pocket. The canopy can be detached easily if need be.

High quality running stroller
April 8, 2020
My daughter calls this our "batman stroller" because it is sleek, black and can go fast. It looks great and is made from quality materials. The shocks are pretty intense and definitely makes our neighborhood sidewalk cracks seem way smoother. I can't wait to test this stroller out on some trails (after shelter at home orders are lifted). On the sidewalks and roads it is easy to maneuver and it seems to handle my grassy yard just fine. Some of my other favorite features: zip-able under storage, easy to adjust handle bar with lots of options, side pockets for my kiddo, zip pocket up top big enough for my large phone, and locking front wheel is super easy to use. The canopy is awesome. I love that it extends down far enough that even when walking into the sun and up a hill, it still keeps the sun out of my kiddo's eyes. It also stays in place when you hit bumps in the road and doesn't retract to a different position. The window flap is nice how it stuffs into a pocket to keep the window open, which is super easy and quick and has magnets to keep it closed when you pull it back out. The hand break is a great facet of the stroller. I live in a super hilly area and having the break for going down hills is wonderful. I do feel like the break on our stroller is a bit stiff and hard to use, but I hope that it will loosen up over time. The one handed fold is pretty easy. I have a little trouble with the push button while twisting, but once I get it the stroller folds up pretty easy and with no back straining (you can fold it without having to lift the stroller off the ground at all). However, I don't like that the handlebar is what props the stroller up when you fold it, so if the ground is wet or muddy you can't easily fold without getting a wet/dirty handlebar. This stroller is big and heavy. Wow. It is rough going up hills with the weight of the stroller and kiddo combined. Also it takes up a lot of space in my car and house even when collapsed. Overall I would recommend this stroller, the things I like about it far out weigh the few things I don't like. I was given this Stroller to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

So many thoughtful features!
April 7, 2020
Wow. This stroller is AMAZING. I can?t say enough good things about it. First, the suspension is perfect for every terrain, from bumpy pothole covered streets to smooth biking trails to dirt hiking trails. When our son falls asleep, it?s easy to quietly recline the seat and the overhead magnetic window cover folds back quietly since there aren?t any noisy velcro flaps. The zip covered storage compartment makes me feel like I can pack a whole suitcase worth of toys and snacks for our adventures. If that?s not enough, there are side pockets in the stroller seat that are perfect for a water bottle and a favorite toy and a zip pocket for a cell phone or wallet. It folds up super easily and the wheels can be detached for quick stowing (no tools needed!). My only disappointment is that I didn?t discover this stroller sooner. Thanks so much to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing the stroller for us to try out!

The Only Stroller You Need!
April 7, 2020
I never knew how badly I needed this stroller until I received this product as part of the Stellar Testing Panel! From the start, this stroller was everything I didn't know I needed! It assembled very easily-just pop in the wheels. We received this stroller during the beginning of the quarantine period, and it is one of the few things keeping our sanity! Trying to juggle two parents working from home and a very active toddler has been difficult, and this stroller kept our sanity. It ensured both my husband and I got a run in daily. The bonus was that the ride is so smooth, our toddler took a nap every time we were out! Some of the features I love about this stroller are: 1) The oversized canopy. This thing is amazing!! If the baby fell asleep, we kept the sun (and bugs, noises and/or rain) from waking him with this down. Don't worry, you can still keep an eye on the little one with the peep window! 2) All of the pockets!! There is a zipper pocket at the top, by the handle, which is perfect for your phone and keys! There are two more along the seat back for your water bottles. There are two more pockets at the sides of the cushioned seat. I didn't have to worry about constantly grabbing water for my son, or him losing the cup if he just had it next to him. 3) The oversized basket that zips at the bottom. This thing is big enough to hold multiple stroller blankets, a jacket, boogie wipes, and more! I love that it zips so nothing gets lost if you take a sharp turn, and bonus, nothing gets wet if it is raining! 4) The ability to collapse/fold it with one hand, so it is easily stored when not in use. 5) The safety features, like the wrist strap, hand brake, and foot brake. I didn't have to worry about losing control, even if the uneven terrain made the jog any less smooth (which it didn't!) There are only 2 cons I can think of for this stroller. One is that the canopy has a slight gap at the sides rather than being fully connected to the stroller, so wind or rain could possibly get through. It is so slight I really wasn't worried. The other is that the window has a magnetic closure to keep it closed, but not to keep it open. I had the window fly closed if I did not tuck the cover up tight enough. Overall, I am so happy with this stroller I have put any others I have into retirement! This is definitely worth the investment if you are considering purchasing!

Nice upgrade to the old BOB jogging stroller!
April 7, 2020
I owned an older version of this stroller (BOB Revolution Flex - purchased in 2015 for my oldest child) so I had a good basis for comparison when using this new stroller. Out of the box, this was really easy to assemble. Even with 2 kids climbing all over me and trying to "help", I was able to assemble in around 15 minutes. The directions were easy and pretty straightforward to follow. Once assembled, I appreciated the new, sleek design. In addition to having a high quality, sturdy stroller, this is an important feature to me. The canopy features structured sections that fold in and out consistently. My older model BOB seemed to lose this structure over time and never fully extended. The peek-a-boo window at the top of the canopy has also been updated to close shut with the help of magnets instead of velcro. This is a nice updated/upgraded feature. The hand break on the main handle of the stroller is a little tough/stiff to use at first but maybe will loosen up over time? Either way, it's nice to have this feature within easy reach. The main parking break at the bottom of the stroller felt super secure. Between the both of these brakes and the security hand strap, I feel like I have good options for stopping the stroller at a moment's notice if needed. The storage basket at the bottom is zippered which, at first, I felt was an unnecessary feature but eventually found it to be useful. I used it when out running with my little one and could just toss some toys, water bottles, or snacks in there and not worry about them getting dirty or possibly falling out. As far as jogging with the stroller, it holds up well to my neighborhood runs. I usually run on the road/bike lane which has some unevenness and the shocks absorb these easily. My little one seems undisturbed, too! Just make sure the front tire is in the locked position to ensure safety and prevent the stroller from tipping over. Finally, the stroller extremely easy to fold and store. I like how the button to fold the stroller is hidden under a flap beneath the seat. This maintains the clean design without sacrificing the convenient functionality! Overall, I'd highly recommend this to anyone looking for a sturdy, well-designed jogging stroller. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing this stroller for me to review!

A runners dream!
April 7, 2020
Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending the BOB Gear Alterrain Pro Jogging Stroller. This is the mother of all jogging strollers. The maneuverability is incredible on every type of surface. I love all the storage it comes with and once I figured out how to open and close it, it was so easy and loved the fact that I only needed one hand to do it. The only reason I wouldn?t give 5 stars is because of how heavy the stroller is. It?s definitely not easy to get in and out of a car if you?re taking it on trails or places like that. It?s a beast but if you are only using it from time to time or around the neighborhood then it probably wouldn?t be a big deal.

Beyond all my expectations
April 7, 2020
I was selected to receive the BOB Gear Alterrain Pro Jogging Stroller as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. All opinions contained in this review are my own. When my son was born, I bought a cheap jogging stroller, thinking that there was no way a BOB stroller was actually that much better than a knock-off discount brand. After trying out the BOB Gear Alterrain Pro Jogging Stroller, I have to admit I was so very wrong. The BOB stroller is head and shoulders above the knock-off stroller I had purchased on my own. The stroller is incredibly user-friendly and provides a comfortable ride for the kids, and is incredibly easy to push while walking or jogging. The suspension system is fantastic, and the one-hand collapse feature is a life-saver with kids. My favorite thing about the stroller, however, is the attention to small details. The canopy is nearly twice as large as those on discount strollers, and covers the children nearly entirely, protecting them from sun or drizzles. I also liked that the window to see the kids had both a plastic and a mesh section, and the cover was held in place with magnets, rather than a tie or velcro, which always gets scratchy and gross over time. Additionally, the handlebars adjust easily to a variety of heights, to accommodate a parent of any height, or two parents of different heights. My favorite thing is that the stroller can stand up on its own when it is collapsed! This is huge for people with space concerns, and for saving your shins from a stroller slipping and crashing into them as you walk past. After testing out this stroller, I must say that I am a convert to BOB strollers.

Great stroller, thoughtful features
April 7, 2020
I had the opportunity to review the BOB Gear Alterrain Pro Jogging Stroller through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Overall this is a really good jogging stroller. There was assembly required out of the box but it was not overly onerous (took about 15-20 minutes to put it together) and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. There are a lot of things to love about this stroller, and only one con. Pros: Easily adjustable handlebar (SO important - it enables me and my husband to both use this stroller comfortably) Hand brake for quick stops and attachment strap (I've used jogging strollers without these safety features and really didn't like them because of the inability to brake) Easy to adjust front wheel (can be locked or free) - this stroller has excellent maneuverability Excellent suspension - my kiddos loved how smooth the ride was Thoughtful bonus features - the stroller hood lifts up slightly on the sides to allow for air flow when the hood is fully down (this has been a huge problem for me in Texas where it can be SO hot - this aspect allows for air flow and was a great addition). The see-through cover on top has magnets holding it down instead of velcro so it stays in place a lot better than previous strollers I've tried. This stroller STORES SO EASILY and folds up really compactly. I was blown away by how sturdy it was folded up (didn't fall over like some of my other strollers have in the past). Instructions for how to correct stroller tracking. When I first used the stroller it pulled to the right REALLY bad. I was frustrated at first, but the instruction manual has very clear instructions for how to correct this feature - which was really nice! Cons: The brake mechanism (at least on mine) has issues. It's easy enough to engage and keep the stroller in position, but once it's disengaged about 50% of the time one or the other back tires will not be "un-braked" and will just be stuck. I have to rock the stroller back and forth several times to get the wheel un-stuck. Overall, this stroller is great. There are some very thoughtful touches to it and it rides like a dream. Easy to control while running or walking. I was very pleased.

Lamborghini of strollers
April 6, 2020
I wanted to start off saying I?m absolutely blown away and in love with my new BOB!! All the new functions they have added make it so luxurious, I call it the Lamborghini of strollers! Jogging with this stroller is so smooth and easy, I love that I can control the stroller won?t one hand and I?m obsessed with the different angles you can move the handle for your own comfort while jogging or walking. It?s a great stroller for short people which would be me :) and for tall people too. The stroller glides along when you are running it just walking, it?s easy to push and it?s pretty light when you have to pack it up and put it away. Lets touch base on the comfortability this stroller has for the little ones- OMG the seats are so plush!!! The harness doesn?t cut into the kids legs or arms and the shaded canopy is amazing. A lot of strollers the canopy doesn?t go down far enough to keep the sun out of the babies eyes and this canopy gets the job done!! Let?s talk about the shocks on this stroller, WOW is all I can say!! No bouncing around, the stroller is so comfortable for the little ones and for me with no jolting or bouncing. I?m definitely happy camper with the stroller and the new design, I also love all the storage space this stroller has, the whole bottom is made for storage and it has a full zip around pocket, keeping everything secure and dry if raining. I?m Going to list off the pros and cons of this stroller below but all I have to say is the cons list is very short- I honestly couldn?t be more happy with a stroller and that?s the truth. Pros- Storage space Comfortable Light weight Different angles if the handle Shocks Plush seating pads for baby Canopy covers all angles of the sun Tires are heavy duty Stroller is heavy duty Sturdy stroller Well made Pushes easily Colors are wonderful Easy to fold up and unfold Simple assembly 2 min assembly Adjustable seat Cons- No cup holder That?s literally all I have ai far for cons- I really do love this stroller and haven?t found anything wrong with it. I do wish it had a cup holder:)

Amazing jogging stroller!!
April 6, 2020
I have to say this is the nicest, highest quality jogging stroller I have ever had the pleasure of using. One could tell right out of the box that the quality of this stroller is top notch, from the wheels down to the padding on the seat. I was initially worried that this stroller would be a bit cumbersome and heavy for jogging because the materials are mostly made out of high quality aluminum and other durable materials but its extremely smooth and easy to push. I have a double jogging stroller that I use frequently for both walking and jogging around my neighborhood but the feel of this one is much smoother. The newer Smoothshox suspension system was clearly evident on this model and those more accustomed to using a jogging stroller will definitely notice a difference. It was pretty easy to maneuver this stroller around corners on the street as well as other paved surfaces. I wasn't able to take this stroller on an unpaved trail at this time so I am unable to review it on rockier surfaces but given the tires on this model I think it is safe to assume that it can handle most types of terrain relatively easy. Folding the stroller up with one hand and picking it up to place in the back of my car was relatively simple. The handle is nicely padded which is important when you are pushing up or breaking down hills constantly. The hand brake is also super important for those steep hills and the handlebar itself is height adjustable so both myself and my much taller husband can run with ease. The canopy is UV protective and is nice and big. It covers three quarters of my daughter which is great to keep the sun out of her eyes or to allow her to take a snooze when we are out for a long time. I am also really excited about the storage space below. Its roomy and it also zippered so everything in there is protected from the elements or any bumps we may hit along the way. My favorite part about this stroller is definitely the smoothness of the ride. In a jogging stroller I think that is really the most important feature and what everyone is ultimately looking for. It is easy to push, it glides and the suspension system is one of the best. I would highly recommend this for the expert jogger to the novel jogger, I also think this could be a great everyday stroller for those who don't run but take frequent walks in their neighborhoods or out on trails. I think everyone will find the quality of this stroller is definitely worth the investment. It also came at an ideal time when I can't wait to get out of the house everyday to use it!! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for allowing me to use and review this fantastic product. I think I will now be a BOB user for life!

Everything You Want and Need in a Jogging Stroller
April 6, 2020
I have been running with my kids for almost 3 years now and have used multiple joggers, so I feel like I know what to look for and what I like in one. The BOB Gear Alterrain Pro Jogging Stroller ticks all the boxes in what makes a great jogger. First, it has an adjustable handle. This is super important since we?re not all the same size. The middle setting works well for me (I?m 5?7?) and the higher works great for my 6? husband. The handle on this stroller elevates even higher than most others I?ve tried and I think would be well suited for even quite tall individuals. It also lowers so much that my 3.5 year old can push it. Speaking of that, this stroller is so lightweight that she can push her heavy 19 month old sister in this quite easily (with my help of course). I couldn?t believe how easy it is to push, definitely of the easiest of any stroller I?ve tried. The sunshade is also huge, which is perfect for keeping my pale baby safe. Additionally, the locking front wheel is a necessity for any jogger, in my opinion, and the fact that this is easy to lock (for running) and unlock (for walking) ticks another of the ?great jogger? checkboxes. The wheels are huge, as well, which makes it perfect for off-roading. The only negative was that it was a bit cumbersome to put together, but overall it only took about 45 minutes total. I love this stroller and I?m so thankful that I was able to try it out through the Stellar Product Testing Panel!

I?m a fan!
April 6, 2020
I always told myself, we don?t need a jogging stroller. We don?t jog THAT much. However, after receiving a new BOB Gear Alterrain Pro Jogging Stroller as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I can now see all the advantages of having one, especially this one! Once we made it through the assembly process, which took about 15 minutes, we were ready to go. The very large, reflective, wheels would be perfect for the everyday stroll through the neighborhood as well as a face paced run through the park, no matter the terrain. The suspension system and padded seat keeps our little one nice and comfortable. So comfortable that we can get longer sessions in without so much as a peep from the little one. Plus the little kid pockets inside the seat area provides a great place to store a snack and a drink. We haven?t had to use it yet, but the hand brake is conveniently located right at the adjustable handle bars. However, someone with larger hands may need to adjust their grip position so they don?t get caught up in the brake line or brake line assembly. It would have be awesome to see that hardware and brake line integrated into the frame somehow. Overall we are very satisfied with stroller and so glad we have one.

Truly top of the line!
April 5, 2020
I really do love this stroller.I received this Stroller from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I am so glad I did! I love how smooth the ride is, and my 1 year old son barely seems to notice any bumps along the road. There is a ton of padding all over the seat area, and some mesh pockets inside and on the back for holding bottles and water for mom and baby! The wrist strap and hand brake make me feel super safe, as does the locking wheel in front. The brakes do squeak from time to time. Also, I dont love the recline feature. I think it is more complicated than it needs to be to being the seat back up once again. I think my favorite feature is the huge canopy over the top, and the little magnetic cover over the window.

Durable AND luxurious jogging stroller!
April 5, 2020
Seriously, this jogging stroller is the nicest one I've ever owned OR tried! The premium fabric makes it comfortable for my little ones to enjoy the ride and I know that it will also last. I love the sleek look of it too and all the black! For me, I like to jog regularly and I was able to take it for a couple of rides the last couple of weeks and it pushed smoothly. I didn't feel like I had to fight with it or felt uncomfortable keeping a good pace with it. The added safety feature of having the wrist strap is a bonus which helps if you lose control of the stroller for whatever reason and the ergonomic handle! Ah! Ok so I haven't had the luxury of having this feature before on a stroller (nor am I sure it exists in others) but the fact that I can make it so it's comfortable for me (I'm 5'5") and for my husband (he's 6'3") is a game changer. Probably our favorite feature hands down. The big cargo basket on the bottom is really nice too especially for when we do get the chance to go out hiking or whatever, we don't have to worry about not having enough space to fit things in for the 5 of us. ⣠Thanks to the Stellar Review Panel for gifting me this amazing stroller to test out and review.

Thanks to the Stellar Review Panel for gifting me this amazing stroller to test out and review.

The BEAST of jogging strollers!
April 5, 2020
Wow!! This stroller is a beast! So super smooth! First outing with it we stayed in the neighborhood and went right over the speed bumps with absolutely zero trouble. Basically just glided right over them thanks to the suspension system. You can seriously see and feel it working over the terrain and bumps and my one year old didn't even seem to notice, just sits back and gets to enjoy looking around. I've taken it on hilly uneven surfaces and it does amazing and is super easy to push and maneuver. There is one particular huge hill I tend to avoid going down in our neighborhood because the stroller gets going so fast, but with this stroller I decided to go down it since it has the brake on the handle and it made a huge difference. I also love that it has the safety strap for around your wrist. The main brake on it is an improvement from my earlier model as well, easier to flip up and down with your foot. Folding it up is also a breeze with one hand and I love that it stands up on its own. I don't want to forget to mention the huge basket underneath that zips up, super convenient! Other features that have proven to be super helpful include the huge sunshade and the adjustable handlebar. Though there are many reasons to love this stroller, I have to say, having a true suspension system that actually works is my favorite aspect of it, top notch. Overall this thing gets an A+ for sure. All of their products that I have used are amazing quality, but if you're looking for a jogging stroller to go just about anywhere, this is it! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stroller.

Next Level BOB!
April 5, 2020
Pinch me!! I was given the BOB Gear All terrain Pro Jogging stroller by Stellar Product Testing Panel to try out and give an honest review of. I hit the jackpot because this stroller is just that! I'm an avid jogger, with kids, on trails so the BOB stroller has already been our go to because it is an amazing work horse. The Bob Gear All terrain Pro Jogging Stroller is next level though! My sweet 18 month old is so secure and comfortable in the lushly padded seat with a sturdy 5 point harness. He thinks he is in a race car. Just kidding. I don't run that fast. But if I did, he would be totally safe because the shocks on this thing are for real. He doesn't feel the many rocks we bounce over and the sharp turns we make to avoid tree logs. He is just loving the view, safe from the sun due to the generous covering of the sunshade. I can check on him without waking him because BOB is awesome and made the peekaboo window magnetic. No more velcro to jolt the kiddo awake. Another feature I love it the hand break. Completely saves my back when going down a big hill which happens on the daily because we live on a giant hill! I have always been nervous of a runaway stroller down this big hill but not now because BOB thought of that too. The safety strap is on the handle bar for you to hold on to while you hold the handle bar. My only wish is that it was for the break hand to use and not the other hand. I love the big cargo hold at the bottom which can hold sweaters, water bottles and you guessed it, snacks! Even the kiddo has perfect little mesh pockets at his fingertips to hold his water bottle and snacks. He is riding in style. I am so grateful for the storage pocket right by the handle bar that can hold my phone, keys and more! And the mesh pockets on the back are great to keep my water bottle close by during my long runs. Easy to push, easy to turn, easy to fold. Just easy to use! And my kiddo loves it. He climbs in and attempts to buckle himself to go for another ride! All in all we love this stroller! Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending us this pot of gold!

Smooth riding!
April 5, 2020
This stroller is amazing in the Texas Hill country, it's perfect for rocky and sloped terrain. My almost 2 yearold loves it, she tried to crawl into it all the time asking me to take her for a walk. I have a very long rocky driveway and I tested how the stroller would carry a carton of eggs. I walked my daughter over to my neighbors and picked up some fresh eggs, I put them in the bottom of the stroller and they survived a hike home. That speaks volumes about the suspension on this stroller! I received this product from the Stellar product testing panel.

So Handy and Great Features!
April 5, 2020
I am over the moo. In love with the BOB Gear Alterrain Pro Jogging Stroller! I recieved it through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I am so glad I did. Years ago we had a jogging stroller, but since then, the improvements added to the BOB are amazing! This was the smoothest riding stroller, even in the rocks, grass, and bumpy road for a jog. We loved the safety features and hand brake. My kiddo was so comfy, this has a large l, padded seat. The large canopy with window was nice to have too. My favorite feature is the large storage area below and the adjustable height handle. So convenient! It's also easy to collapse and stand back up and I can lift it in and out of the car by myself! Love it!

Sturdy, safe, sleek, and smooth!
April 5, 2020
I am a huge fan of this stroller! I'll start with the pros - there are a lot of them (!), with just a couple of cons. Pro #1: The BOB Alterrain Pro is extremely sturdy and well-constructed. You can just see and feel that it was made with high-quality materials, and built with safety in mind with multiple components in place to prevent accidents. In particular, the front wheel swivel lock is really well-designed to keep from accidentally tipping over. And I appreciate that the manual called out that the installation of the front wheel should leave an imprint on your hand, otherwise it's not on tight enough. I also love that the canopy has UPF protection and is waterproof. I took the stroller out on a pretty heavy rain day, and my child stayed completely comfortable and dry! Pro #2: This stroller provided the smoothest jog/run I've ever experienced. It was AMAZING. Pushing my 5 year old felt just as easy as pushing my 8 month old baby! It literally just felt like air, like pushing nothing. I liked that I could focus on me and the run, and not feel like the stroller was weighing me down. Pro #3: Okay, so I might be a little biased because my wardrobe generally consists of all black clothing, but I LOVED the all black sleek design of All-Weather Black. It matches me perfectly and looks soooo good. Pro #4: Little features in this stroller make a huge difference. For example, the canopy skylight has a magnetic flap that I love because I can flip it up quickly with one hand to check on my child, and then flip it back. I also appreciate that it's quiet and doesn't make a loud ripping noise if baby falls asleep. The zipper pocket behind the canopy is perfect for my phone and keys. And lastly, the zipper cargo basket is such a nice touch - it's huge and I love that I can hide away any mess of stuff that we happen to be toting along. Con #1: The stroller is great for off-roading on a relatively smooth and wide dirt path, but I took it on a trail with a lot of roots, and it was a little challenging to keep the stroller steady. I ended up needing to pick up the back wheels to make it through, and being that the stroller is pretty heavy, this wasn't ideal. Con #2: I struggled a bit with turning while jogging. I either had to take really wide turns, or when things got particularly narrow, I had to make a couple three point turns. Despite the cons, I absolutely love taking this stroller out, and my kids love it too! I cannot get over how easy and smooth it is to push, a huge credit to the suspension system! And if you are like me and would like to feel like you're on a kid-free run (even for just five minutes before they start asking for a snack...again), then this is the stroller for you!! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with?this stroller!

Smooth ride
April 5, 2020
I received this jog stroller to try from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and it could not have come at a better time. As I am stuck in the house with two small kids for the foreseeable future, getting out for a run while taking one of the kids with me helps relieve stress for both me and my husband. My 3.5-year-old begs to go for a run everyday. She doesn't like to have the canopy down, but I can easily take it off so that the mesh doesn't graze her head. The shocks on this stroller are amazing. We can go from sidewalk to street to grass without worrying about jostling. At first I didn't like that the safety strap was on the left side as I wear my FitBit on my left arm and pump that arm while running, but I soon realized that it he strap is long enough to reach my right wrist with no problems. This stroller is incredibly lightweight and was easy to set up by myself. I had to refer to the user manual to figure out how the seat reclines, but once I figured that out, it was really easy to do. The 5-point harness seems really comfortable. I love this stroller!!

The Best Jogging and Off-Pavement Stroller Out There
April 4, 2020
When I was pregnant and test driving strollers, I did not get it. I went to every store, swiveled around every stroller to test maneuverability but could not bring myself to test the BOB Gear strollers. Surely no stroller was worth paying a couple hundred more for when all I needed was something to push my baby around in, right? Wrong. Circling a stroller on a showroom floor cannot prepare you for even the simple walk from the store to the parking lot, let alone my neighborhood sidewalks which are riddled with cracks, tree roots and frost heaves plus I regularly travel to events such as fairs held in grass fields and I run 4-5 days a week. A regular stroller frustrated me to the point that unless I was going to the mall, my options were to wear my son to places my stroller couldn't handle, leave him behind (which is impossible when your husband works weekends), and/or skip my runs altogether. Unless you plan to limit yourself to walking and walking only on smooth surfaces, you need a BOB Gear Jogging Stroller. Why I love the BOB Gear Alterrain?Pro Jogging Stroller: -The smoothest ride: goes over bumps, frost heaves, dirt, tree roots and even sidewalks with horrific heaves and cracks caused by tree roots with ease. The tires and suspension keep us rolling and keep my son riding smoothly over everything.? -Easy to maneuver. At a walk with the wheel set to swivel, it can turn on a dime. You would never know how heavy this stroller is based on how easy it is to push and turn. With the front wheel locked (as is needed at faster speeds), turns are harder but it's necessary for safety. I still had no trouble jogging easily around other people out for a walk on the trails. -Adjustable height handle bar?and plenty of clearance for long strides!!! I am 5' 8.5" tall. I find myself hunching to push the average stroller with my legs kicking the rear axle and/or cargo basket every other step. This handle bar goes even higher than I would need and is comfortable even for my 6'1" mother to use. My feet never go near to touching the stroller (other than intentionally to set the rear brake). -Easy fold with a strong and sturdy handle. My son and I?travel via ferry at least once a month, needing to park, carry him and all our stuff to the shuttle bus to the ferry, walk on the ferry, ride over, walk off and get into a car on the other side. An easy fold for the shuttle bus, ferry and car with plenty of cargo room for the walks in between is extremely important to us on these trips. This stroller passed the ferry trip with flying colors. -Free standing when folded! This stroller is large, the free stand feature is key to saving space at home. -Well made: strong frame, sturdy fabric, air filled tires, sleek look. So long as you keep it maintained, this stroller can last for years and years, miles and miles. It is certainly worth the investment. They also maintain their value. -The zippered top on the cargo basket! It is amazing not having to worry about things falling out. I can zip a jacket or diaper bag in there and not worry it will slip out and trip me. -The huge canopy with a magnetic close window: I love being able to see my son while we are walking or running. The magnetic flap is so much cleaner and easier to use and flip open than velcro. The canopy provides full coverage, ensuring my son's sensitive skin will not be exposed to the sun's rays and that he won't be squinting and crying because the sun will never be in his eyes. I don't have to find a way to balance a too-small canopy to find the perfect angle to protect him from the sun anymore. Opening the box was like Christmas, I could not wait to put the stroller together and take it for a spin. I always read instructions cover to cover. Normally, I would expect assembly instructions to go in order but the way the stroller was folded in the box, it was nearly impossible to put on the front wheel. If I hadn't read ahead on how to unfold the stroller, I would have been frustrated as I could not install the front wheel without skipping to a later step and unfolding the frame first. BOB Gear is serious about Safety: I am always sure to?wear the wrist strap, the parking brake is easy to set, the harness secure, and the front wheel lock instructions were?very clear. While my keys and phone fit in the rear zip pouch, my biggest complaint is that it does not come with the parent handlebar console. At this price point, I want to be able to tote my water bottle around on my run. Otherwise, the only downsides are the size and weight (but when do you expect of a jogging stroller this well made?). This stroller is heavy and I need both hands to lift it into my trunk. It takes up a significant amount of space; I was kicking myself when I went warehouse shopping and forgot to take it out first to make room for my bulk groceries. The canopy is also annoying when folded; the fabric is mashed against my son's head. He is only 19 months and small for his age so I have trouble imagining how a taller child would fit under it. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stroller. Overall, this is the absolute best stroller on the market for jogging and off-road use and 100% worth the investment. I will be buying a duallie from BOB Gear when the time comes someday. I am screaming from the rooftops for any parent, guardian or caregiver to learn from my silly pregnant mistake: don't waste money on a regular stroller or travel system, don't wait until you are stuck at home, avoiding life because your stroller cannot handle bumps; invest in a BOB Gear Jogging Stroller from day one.

All Around great stroller
April 4, 2020
The BOB Gear Alterrain Pro Jogging Stroller is really well made. There are a lot of little details that put this stroller over the top. I have a 16 month old daughter who loves going for walks. The child seat is nicely padded, has pockets for toys or snacks, and can be reclined. I typically walk on a grass path so I love the suspension system. It allows my daughter to have a much smoother ride. It also pushes much easier through the bumpy, grassy path than any other stroller I have used for off roading which makes it a much more enjoyable walk for me as well. When using this stroller on the road or sidewalk, it just glides! If I am jogging, I barely feel like I have to push and I can just hold the jogging strap. I absolutely love the lockable front wheel that way I can use it easily for walking or jogging. The huge canopy top is wonderful for the ever changing weather in Ohio. The other day it started out sunny and warm, and by the end of our walk it was cool and rainy. The canopy top kept my daughter dry and warm from the rain, and thankfully I had a blanket in the zip top cargo basket. I feel like no detail has been overlooked from the safety features to the extra pockets it's an all around great stroller. Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stroller!

All Your Stroller Needs in ONE!

I was given this Stroller to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I?m obsessed with this stroller. My daughter is obsessed with this stroller. It?s the best and everyone needs it. I have the black color and it?s simple and chic looking. The smooth ride is enjoyable for everyone involved. If your child is completely comfortable and safe, it?s only encouraging for you to get out and run MORE! Running with the stroller was delightful and sturdy, thanks to the locking front wheel feature. The seat is ultra-padded and even has a pocket for my daughters cup/snacks. Speaking of pockets... there are ?5? pockets on this stroller! The suspension system is incredible and something I?ve never experienced with any stroller before making uneven surfaces a breeze to go through. Another thing I love about this stroller are the safety features! Front wheel locks, hand brake, reflective fabrics and 5-point harness are all wonderful ways to stay safe on our family adventures. Knowing I am in FULL control of the stroller makes me happy and probably my favorite part of the stroller. I want to say a Huge THANK YOU to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with?this Stroller. I am ready to go on more adventures!

Great jogging stroller. Looks great, feels great. We have had it for a week and have gone running everyday just because we like it so much. It has handled well in our hilly metro area as well as on our local park trail. Our 2.5 year old loves it! There is only about 2-3 inches between her head and the canopy so I don't know how many years we will get before she out grows it, but for now it's wonderful! Took me a while to find the instructions that were tucked inside the folded stroller when it was delivered. I wish the little tab for unfolding was yellow instead of grey or at least marked with a sticker so that it would have been more intuitive to unfold the first time. Once I found the tab the set up was very easy. Wish it came with cup holders but I guess that would add to the price tag. Love having the hand break for going down hills and love how easy it is to engage the park break with one foot.
Pros
  • Takes bumps and curbs like a champ
  • Hand brake
  • Sleek look
  • Standing fold
  • Seat has good range from upright to reclined
Best Uses
  • Running
Cons
  • No cup/water bottle holder
  • Wish the peekaboo flap had a magnet to keep it open while running
