Comfortable for my toddler, one hand fold.
March 11, 2015
To begin, I have had this stroller since the end of August. It is used a few times a week. Whether it's to walk around the mall during the cold months, or for a light jog around the block; it is used a lot. If my toddler had a choice of what stroller to go out in, she would chose this one every time. I spent a year of jogging stroller research before purchasing this one. I wanted something safe, practical, easy to use and fold up, and something comfortable for my toddler to sit in while I workout or day trips that had a lot of walking planned. What I wanted my jogging stroller to have was a hand brake, a wrist strap, one hand fold, a swivel/fixed wheel, holds more than 50 pounds, and a canopy that had peek a boo windows. Many brands out there, and it was overwhelming with all the options. When baby jogger was recommended, I fell in love with the beauty of the stroller. It had everything I wanted, and then some, while also looking good. Although it looked good, I still read a lot of reviews of the summit x3 and compared it with another recommended stroller. It took about 3 months to convince myself to spend so much on a stroller, but I was happy with the purchase after my husband and I used it for a few days. The first full day we used it for a family outing, it was to the zoo. My husband didn't think a stroller could be so easy to push, even uphill and loaded with a diaper bag, a small lunchbag with toddler snacks, camera, and toddler. When I used it to walk a few miles, there were some potholes on the shoulder of the road. While I avoided most of it, the stroller did keep my toddler fairly comfortable with minimal shaking. It also worked well walking on gravel, dirt roads, and grass.
