I, like so many others, bought the city select ONLY A YEAR AGO because of its marketing as a great choice for adding a second seat. Now, with baby #2 on the way, I'm left with no choice but to buy a whole new stroller, with a whole new company, that won't discontinue needed parts and accesories. Especially given the times, with inflation on the rise, this is causing a great finiacial strain on my growing family.

I am a month out from having my second child after receiving this stroller only a little over a year ago, right before I had my first child. The stroller was bought specifically because you could add a second seat. Went on the site to purchase the add on seat and I see it sold out and the reviews say it's discontinued! I would have much preferred purchasing another stroller if this was the case. Literally have only had this for a year! SO disappointing for how expensive this stroller already is! Also, I will have to now reach out to my mom friends since I have been recommending this stroller for the very reason that it can be converted for more children.

I purchased this stroller through a retailer at full price less than 2 years ago. I was looking to purchase the second seat for the stroller to expand it with my growing family. We purchased their stroller as we anticipated purchasing the second seat in the future . I am now left with no options option for this very expensive stroller. I am very disappointed with baby jogger company for leaving us with a very expensive single stroller. this stroller is the price of 2 strollers. I wish I would have just purchased a cheaper stroller. I wish I had not recommended this product to so many others.

I bought this stroller with the intent of having it "grow with our family". I now have my second child and can not find a second seat. I'm extremely disappointed that I spent so much money on this and now I can't use it. I regret my purchase at this point because it was so expensive and can't be used as a double stroller like advertised.

Like others on here, I paid a premium for this stroller 2.5 years ago with the intention of using it as a double stroller when baby #2 came along. Now that we need a second seat, it is not available. How disappointing and deceiving because this stroller is marketed to be able to grow with your family. I completely regret my purchase and wish I went with a less expensive, less bulky option for baby #1.

I bought this stroller in June 2020 because I knew I would be having my kids back to back and would need a double stroller. I've been very happy with it for my daughter. I came on today to buy the second seat for my second child that will be arriving any day and cannot find one to purchase. Like others on here, I paid a lot of money for this stroller to be prepared for 2 kids under 2. I also feel like it isn't right of the company to do this to us when we bought it a year ago.

Similar to a lot of posts, I bought this stroller in December of 2020 (a little more than ONE YEAR AGO) specifically because I knew I would be having a second child in the near future and would want to get a second seat. Well, kid number two is on the way and I can't find the second seat any where! So now I will have two under two and a stroller that only holds one kid?!? Given the significant cost of the stroller and the fact that I bought it recently I feel quite bamboozled. Now is my only choice to buy a brand new stroller? Just ridiculous.

We bought the original stroller in Dec 2019. Ended up adding to our family and have been successfully using it with an infant seat. It's been wonderful with two kiddos. Fast forward to now, needing to upgrade to an actual second seat and it's pretty much slim pickings..if at all. Really upsetting to think that we've spent this much money only to end up with a mismatched stroller-if I can snag a second seat that is. Should have just went with a cheap stroller and said forget it. Would have been nice if the city select 2 seat would be interchangeable-and came in the same color. Great stroller but buyers beware!

I bought this stroller for the specific fact that it could be converted into double! Well 2 years later and I have a second child and nowhere to put him because the second seat adapter kit is unavailable in the color I currently have... unreal.

I was gifted this stroller 2 years ago when my first child was about to be born. It was bought with the knowledge that we could upgrade to a double stroller when ready. Now I can't find the second sit kit available. Very frustrating

I bought the lux last August, and now I want the second seat. The seat has been discontinued and the posts for the currents seat have been sold out for weeks. I love my stroller so much but am now regretting my purchase. I've recommended it to all my mom friends, but now wish I hadn't.

I specifically purchased this stroller 2 years ago with my first child knowing I would need the additional seat when I had my 2nd child. I have now had my second child and cannot find this seat available anywhere. If I knew it would not be available I would have never purchased this stroller.

Arrived with broken buckles and the replacement parts are backordered over a month. Do you know how hard it is to strap a wiggly baby or ornery toddler into a buckle that won't stay together unless you're holding it with three hands??

Had my second baby, bought a second seat, its good material, very comfy for my baby, and easy to move! Thumbs up!

Definitely a must when you have three kids. Love that it's the same size seat.

I love that my single City Select stroller can quickly become a double using the second seat kit. Both of my kids can comfortably ride, whether it's a walk to the park or a whole day at the zoo, they're comfortable and secure in their seats. The sun shade is huge, provides great protection, and I love the little peek-a-boo flaps so I can look in and check on them when they're snoozing without having to stop.
