Great Stroller...A Bit Squeaky
October 1, 2014
I am new to the Baby Jogger fan base. I got stroller envy when I saw Baby Joggers all over the place. So I purchased the City Mini Zip, since I loved the fold and compact size of it, yet functioning as a full stroller. It's been a great pleasure owning this stroller since early August, however it's starting to act like it's a lot older than that. The front wheels are very squeaky and they sound like they need a lube of WD-40. Also, the frame acts a bit flimsy when I put my 40lb niece in it. It is meant for my daughter who is only 25 lbs, however the stroller notes that it can hold up to 50 lbs. I want to love this stroller but I feel like I just wasted my money.

One hand fold, comfy...
August 17, 2014
We replaced our umbrella stroller with it about a month ago. Our umbrella was twice as long as this one. We do have a big bulky stroller that isn't so handy as this one sitting in a trunk and taking as much space as grocery bag! So huge plus - one hand fold and open - while holding baby. The seat us big wide and comfortable for both - 7 mo and 3yo. The canopy gives tones of shade. Small pocket on the back - perfect for on go items- key phone...Another big thing - stroller glides by one hand with no struggling - no matter if 3 yo or infant in it. Minuses- no peek a boo window! It trips if left without a kid and with diaper bag hanging at the bar ( but full one). So, pretty good stroller - I compare to bumbletide, mountain buggi nano, aprica presto flat, uppa baby Cruz. I really hope they will make some extras for that stroller like belly bar!!! I really like that option! I am sure they will soon - the model is quite new. Overall if you need easy on the go stroller that your kid and you will be comfortable it's a choice for you.

Surprisingly lightweight!
July 17, 2014
I was very pleasantly surprised when I first pushed the City Mini ZIP and realized that it felt and pushed like a full featured stroller similar to a City Mini. The added bonus is that the stroller folds so small and offers amazing flexibility when storing in my car. So I have a full size stroller that folds like those tiny umbrella strollers, amazing! My son loves the adjustable footrest, as it allows him to kick back relax and have his legs up... I would recommend this stroller to anybody who has a kid.

Fantastic Travel and Everyday Stroller!!!
July 15, 2014
I was in the market for a stroller to take on vacation to Europe. I currently have the Bugaboo Cameleon, and while I love that stroller, the inconvenience and bulkiness of the stroller is not good for a suburban mom like me who is constantly in and out of my car. So taking that stroller on vacation was a definite no-no. So I was on the hunt for a "full size like" stroller but light and compact enough to travel with. Behold...I had the pleasure of having a salesperson take me through all the strollers that fit my criteria - huge canopy, compact for travel, seats like a full size, full recline (or close). The City Mini Zip fit all my criteria. This stroller had it all. The only thing it doesn't have that is a "would of liked" is a peekaboo window, but I can always just look in here and there. So I must say I am so excited about this stroller because it is a one, two, three to not only open and close, but is super comfortable. "I had my daughter sit in every stroller to make sure she felt and looked comfortable - she's 15 months old and will make it known when she's not happy:)"

Momma bird not happy with this stroller!
July 6, 2014
Just bought this to travel with 35 inch 19 month old. Not happy with this stroller and will be returning it back to the store! Shoulder straps would not stay attached to clips and had to use lap straps only. The seat doesn't sit up enough. The straps in the back to raise and lower seat was really long but the clips would not allow you to raise the seat all the way. Would only go to a reclined position for the highest position. Cannot adjust to handle bars. But if this can accommodate a tall child, wouldn't you think their parents would be tall?? I am 5'9!!!! There is no Window on top of canopy to check on your child. Oh and the basket below... Horrific! Not easy to put nor retrieve your items. Does not come with tray or bar but sales person said I could order it. NOT! Come to find out neither item is available for this model. Good points... Was big enough to accommodate my tall son, very light weight and folded very easy. Very disappointed with this model and will check out the City Elite. Wish me luck!!
