LOVE!!! Adjustable handle makes a difference!
August 9, 2017
I had purchased the mini without the GT wheels twice before with two previous kids because of all the rave reviews. Each time, I ended up selling the strollers and never understood why everyone loved the maneuverability of it. It was too hard for me and preferred my Maclarens. I finally decided to splurge on the GT and give it another go with my 4th and last child. He's a boy and 2 years old and needed a higher seat off the ground because he kept deliberately dragging his feet to touch the ground to stop the stroller while we shopped. As much as I liked the light compactness of Maclarens, I could no longer use it without frustration. As it turns out and what I discovered was the problem with the regular city mini, was that the handle is not adjustable and it's at a completely terrible angle for me causing it not to be maneuverable at all. The Citi mini GT however has an adjustable handle and that makes all the difference for someone my height, at 4'11". Despite, the weight of the GT, splurging on it over the regular Citi Mini is worth it if you aren't tall.
