I've been using this seat for my 8-month-old since birth and it is definitely light and he's comfortable in it. However, a couple of months in the Velcro on one side of the canopy has deteriorated to the point that that side just hangs off the side of the seat all the time. Additionally, the seat padding on the lower part keeps detaching and being flipped out so it's not securely attached to the bottom front of the seat. I'm pretty disappointed - for the price I expected much higher quality, especially compared to the other Baby Jogger car seat and stroller we have.

This seat was a major disappointment. Very hard and uncomfortable for the baby with less seat safety features than comparably priced carriers. Base was easy to secure in my car via seat belt but didn't have LATCH clips that we prefer. The sun shade was nice and breathable but had no way of securing up and out of the way so it wouldn't flop in the baby's face. We purchased this because we have the City Elite and City Select strollers and wanted a seat that was easily compatible. Both strollers are about 10 years old but as sturdy as a brick house. Baby Jogger dropped the ball and looks like they made a deal with Graco for their seats. Graco is cheaper and kept the trade secrets for their own brand. Returned for a Graco SnugFit Elite.

I bought this car seat for my son who is 8 weeks old now and love it!

I bought this a month ago and it's perfect for my family. It installs easily into our vehicle, very user friendly. Can't wait to try my newborn in it in a few weeks. :) We also have the lux stroller. It clips in perfectly and easy!

We got the baby jogger mini from our baby shower. We looked and found the baby jogger infant carrier was super easy to install and works great with our stroller. Super light and I don't need to buy another base for the mother in laws. Love the sleek design tho the price is a little high. Maybe a little lower would be nice. Other than that it's perfect.

I bought this car seat 5 months ago for my second baby. I like that it is lightweight, easy to install, sturdy and safe. One thing that I don't like is that it has the warning label on the cushion that supports the head of the baby.

I bought car seat for my second baby after having a chicco car seat with my first baby. the car seat is lighter, the square handle shape allows me to rest it comfortably on my forearm to carry it. Easy to install and comfortable padding my baby really liked it hardly ever cried on car rides.

I bought this about a month ago, And I was impressed of the quality of the materials, it was very easy to install in the car and looks easy to maneuver also. My wife and I got this car seat for our newborn and we love it. It is so easy to get her in and out of the car. I bought a set of these for my twins. The installing process is super easy and feels extremely secure. The car seat is also lightweight so I have been able to carry both up and down the stairs leading to my garage relatively easy. The material in the car seat is soft and easy to clean (we've already had several blowouts) and can be thrown in the washing machine easily.

We got this for our baby 2 months ago and couldn't be happier. The snap in base with click lock is such a great feature and eases your mind when clicking your infant into the car, knowing they're safe and secure.

I have a naturally small frame and I'm only 4'11", so the thought of carrying around a huge car seat + a baby was daunting for me. I literally walked around baby stores with a weighted baby doll until I found one I could carry. I was also not going to give up safety and protection for a car seat being lightweight. Another feature I love is how easy it is to adjust the straps by pinching the buttons on the back. Babies are constantly growing, so to not have to rethread the seatbelt (and fear you did it wrong) is so nice. The stroller is so compact and fits nicely in the trunk of my compact car. It is so easy to fold (literally can do it one handed with a baby on the hip).

I have both the citi mini GT jogger and the city select double stroller and I love that this car seat works so seamlessly with both. We leave the base in the car and my daughter just clicks into each dock as needed. Super easy, super comfortable.

This car seat is the best. I love it's flex shade canopy that saves me time because it is always there attached so no matter is it sunny, windy or sth else, you just pull it out and protect your baby. And it has see through peekaboos so my baby can still see outside even with it pulled out. It is light and has great and padded infant insert. It matches with my stroller so makes coop travel system.

As a first time parent, you want the best of the best. I'm so glad I got this car seat! There are so many great features. First, installation was a breeze. It took my husband less than 5 minutes to install the base into my car, and securing the car seat into the base is as simple as listening for a few clicks! Buckling in my little one is also super easy. The adjustable height and weight feature of the straps is a huge bonus. I love that I'm able to use this car seat for a little longer because of that! Great quality fabric, and the UV 50+ screen is a wonderful bonus!

My husband and I are so happy with our GO AIR car seat. Being very petite, the majority of other car seats felt heavy and bulky. This one is a breeze to lift and maneuver, while still feeling very stable and secure.

After a few kids, we have tried a few different car seats, and this is my favorite one by far. Seems to be very comfortable for baby and also feels very safe. We appreciate the extra padding plus the cushioned shoulder straps and seat buckle. The base is easy to install and easy to click the seat into and out of. The sunshade is probably the largest one we've ever had and adjusts without extra noise that otherwise wakes baby up. It also fits great in our City Select stroller. The only potential downside is the weight. As baby continues to grow, the seat is getting almost too heavy for me to carry with him in it.

I absolutely love this car seat. It's lightweight and I'd safe what else can I ask for. I bought this for my newest baby. And I wish I would bought it for my other 4 kiddos

The City Go Air car seat overall is a nice lightweight car seat, however I think it still needs some improvement. Pros are that it's great for when your baby is getting heavy as the car seat is light in weight and the fabrics feel nice to the touch, which is great for baby's skin. I liked that I could put the straps and hook them in the seat belt slots to hold the straps to the side when putting my baby inside. The sides are a little lower making it easier to take baby out/put in when car seat is place on the left/right side of the car. However, I found there are features that aren't as intuitive like the shoulder strap release button is hidden under the fabric. You have to stick your thumb/finger under it, although I think maybe it was hidden for a better aesthetic? The sun shade has no zipper to adjust it in size - it's either hooking it to the handle or unhooking it which leaves it less stable/floppy. You can't partially pull it up to keep it in place. Also, sometimes I felt the canopy hooked to the carrying arm was in the way when I wanted a certain grip to hold/carry my the car seat. Installing the car seat with the latches was easy to click in, but it felt loose. Even though I like the idea of the rebound bar, I realized I had to really push the seat in/dent it in order to get the rebound bar snug. I think it depends on the shape of the back seats in your car/incline of the bottom seat. I really had to put my weight into it to get it securely in place without movement. Overall, the idea is great, but to get it to where I think it could be, improving the canopy/hook system, strap button location, and installation would be key for me to consider using this car seat a lot more. This seat was by far the easiest to install Out of all seats we've tried. The material is soft and seems to hold up better than other brands. The sheild built in is an added bonus. It's very convenient and I feel better knowing it's built into the seat and passes all safety tests. He seems really comfortable and rides smooth. Easiest Car Seat Ever! The City GO Air is seriously the best car seat on the market. The anchor latches are just like seat belts and easily attach and detach. That is by far the best feature because there is no fighting to get the base attached and it's super easy to remove the base as well. I'm also not a very big or strong person, and the car seat is the lightest I've ever carried. I can actually go to the store without dreading the walk from the car to the carts! When you use the car seat without the base, the lap belt locks into place so you don't have to worry about a day with grandma and buckling the car seat incorrectly. It has multiple features and my daughter is extremely comfortable in it. There is even a shade canopy hidden in the top with easy access and convenience. We have 3 kids and have tried 3 different carseats. The City GO Air is the best infant carseat we've had! It truly is light, even with my 20lb 10-month-old inside. It looks great and my baby appreciates the higher recline, especially since he's not a newborn anymore. My favorite feature is the base, which was easy to install and level in my car. In particular the bar keeps the base and carseat very snug and still even during bumps and big turns. My baby typically doesn't enjoy car rides, but he has cried much less since we started using the City GO Air. Additional perks: the GO Air is stylish and looks great. It is also extremely compact even with the base - I'm able to fit 3 carseats across the back of my car (GO Air in the middle, two convertible carseats on each side). Areas for improvement: The belt adjustments are not as easy as I would've liked. It was a struggle to move the buckle through the tiny premade slots just to adjust the straps to my baby's length. It's also not as easy to remove the cover for cleaning. These are minor issues, but annoying nonetheless. Overall, this has been the best infant carseat we've used (across several major brands and price points). I feel safe driving with my baby, and he's comfortable riding in the carseat. We live in the city but haven't been riding in taxis due to COVID, but look forward to testing that feature. Ok, let me start by saying that I received this product for free from Stellar Panel to test out. I gotta say though this is by far way better than our previous set up we had. The install of the base took less than three seconds. I do a lot of woodworking, and transporting a lot of material, so I am often found removing and reinstalling the car seat base over and over and over while I haul wood and tools in and out of my car. The base is super slim and fits in the foot area in the back seat when I need it to. That's really what's most important to me in my current work. For the baby though - I didn't get much of a response as far as the comfort goes, he is only 10 months - and at the same time, a baby that doesn't whine or cry is a happy baby in my mind! The material is ultra slick, and on these hot Colorado days I didn't get a single bit of that "sweaty back" when taking him out, so that's a huge plus! All in all, an easy in and out situation for me, and a baby who isn't sweating in the cheaper material of other brands makes this a game changer for me and my wife. Highly recommend and very happy to have tried out this product from City, that frankly I didn't know existed. Can't wait for our third to be in it as this is clearly a sturdy set up that'll last another 9 months ;)

The City Go Air is a great, light weight, breathable & safe car seat! I like how it can be installed with the safety bar using just the seatbelt. As soon as I realized how to install the base, I appreciated how easy it is to swap between cars. I love that this carseat is more breathable than my current car seat and the extendable shade cover/mesh netting are GREAT for summer heat. This is a wonderful car seat to take to the beach/pool. I sometimes found the canopy would fall off with just the velcro. I wish there was an additional zipper or snap to keep the canopy attached to the car seat. I think the hooks on the canopy are a smart way to keep the canopy from falling backwards- it is nice to keep my baby shaded in this summer sun! I felt that the baseless install was a little less stable than my current car seat. Without the base, the car seat seems to lean a little forward. I prefer to use the base with this car seat since the base is so easy to use! I love that it is such a safe and secure car seat given how light weight this car seat is! The Baby Jogger City Go Air has been an excellent choice for my family. This car seat is for our third kiddo and compared to our first infant car seat, this one is so light! I also love the look of this car seat. Compared to my old one this one feels almost 'chic' with clean lines and great color combo (ours is the 'slate' version). The material this car seat uses is a HUGE step-up. It is more comfortable for baby and is easier to clean. I installed the base with the latch system and it was easy to install. While we have not used the baseless install yet, I am excited about this feature when travel is allowed again. My only complaint is the canopy. The canopy that came with the car seat looks fantastic but I quickly found it cumbersome to use. It pops off easily (only velcro holds it onto the sides) and you cannot carry the car seat with the canopy up. The canopy has now been replaced with a stretchy fabric cover from Etsy. Safety-wise this car seat checks all the boxes: secure in the base, secure when installed without the base, newborn headrest, passed US safety inspection. The built-in rebound bar is a nice extra feature for peace-of-mind (one I hope never gets used, but nice to know it's there). Overall I am super happy with this car seat. It looks great, is incredibly lightweight, and installs easily. The weight, fabric, and aesthetics of this car seat are worth the price-point. As the mother of 5 including newborn twins I have used a lot of infant car seats from various brands. The Baby Jogger City Go Air is by far my favorite infant car seat. There are so many positives to this car seat that I don't know where to begin. First of all, it is a roomy car seat yet it is lightweight. The materials and fabric are high quality. My 1 month old was very comfy in it and did not sweat at all with the infant insert despite the August heat. I absolutely loved the mesh drape that comes down from the canopy to completely cover the baby. It is absolutely genius. I hate when strangers get too close to my baby especially in the era of covid. The integrated drape covered my baby completely so strangers were less likely to approach him and couldn't touch him. The integrated drape is so much better than using a blanket or car seat cover. In terms of safety I really loved the installation of the base. Although there were over 10 steps in the manual, the base installation with the LATCH system was actually very easy. After attaching the latches and tightening the strap, you simply push the rapid lock bar down to lock it in place. Once it clicks the base is extremely secure in the car. It didn't move at all when I tried to shake it so I felt the base was definitely installed very securely. In addition, the anti-rebound bar made the base seem safer than other typical infant seat bases. The City Go Air can also be installed easily without the base which is a great feature to have just in case you need to use the car seat in another car occasionally. The only negatives I could find with the car seat are very minor. First, the pad that goes around the buckle strap is sewed to the infant body cushion. However, the infant body cushion can only be used up to 10 or 12 lbs so once a baby weighs more than that, there is no longer a padding around the buckle. Not a big deal but I wish it came with an additional buckle pad to use without the body insert. Second, the canopy is attached to the handle bar. I generally like this feature because I almost always have the canopy up. However, sometimes in the car I prefer to put the canopy down so it doesn't block the view of my baby in the mirror. Technically the manual states the handle bar can be in any position in the car but I prefer to keep the handle bar up for safety in which case the canopy remains up as well. I honestly can't think of any other negatives. Overall this a great comfortable light weight car seat with an extra safe easy-to-install base.
