I was given this car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I tried to install the carseat by myself usually its my husbands job to install the carseat because i like to think it would be more secure and tight, i was confident that i would be able to do it easily and it didnt disappoint me. I have the Other car seat for my eldest daughter and had a hard time installing it! This one so easy, and i like that it has a feature to install without the base in case we travel. The ani-rebiund bar is so secure and make it more safe. The head rest and harness can be easily adjusted which i like. The canopy is very durable and keeps the sun off her face when driving or when we are out and about. She feels comfortable and safe and secure!

The City Go Air is a great, light weight, breathable & safe car seat! I like how it can be installed with the safety bar using just the seatbelt. As soon as I realized how to install the base, I appreciated how easy it is to swap between cars. I love that this carseat is more breathable than my current car seat and the extendable shade cover/mesh netting are GREAT for summer heat. This is a wonderful car seat to take to the beach/pool. I sometimes found the canopy would fall off with just the velcro. I wish there was an additional zipper or snap to keep the canopy attached to the car seat. I think the hooks on the canopy are a smart way to keep the canopy from falling backwards- it is nice to keep my baby shaded in this summer sun! I felt that the baseless install was a little less stable than my current car seat. Without the base, the car seat seems to lean a little forward. I prefer to use the base with this car seat since the base is so easy to use! I love that it is such a safe and secure car seat given how light weight this car seat is! This updated version has more safety features, including some pieces to stabilize the seat if there is a crash, which makes me feel reassured. And, I love the sun shade on this seat. Its such breathable material and gives great coverage. The one change I'd make is to improve the quality of the material of the neck pads.

This is the fourth infant seat that I have experience with and definitely my favorite. For one, it has a super easy install that I do not need to turn to my husband to in order to make sure it is tight enough. It also is really easy to take out as well. The seat itself is super lightweight and easy to carry to and from the car. My baby loves being in the car seat and seems quite comfortable. It was easy to adjust and move the straps to fit his long torso. I also love that the safety features for height and weight allow for my baby to be in this seat longer than other seats I have owned. I love that the fabric was engineered to help keep baby cool. But by far, my favorite feature that sets this seat above all others is the UV 50+ screen that you can pull all around baby, while still having plenty of air flowing through the seat. I have vivid memories of trying to rig up blankets or other items in the car to block the sun from the baby's face or body parts in fear that their pale skin inherited from yours truly will turn red on a longer drive. I received the Baby Jogger City GO Air car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The first thing I noticed and loved is how lightweight this car seat is. If you are looking for a super lightweight car seat look no further. It's nice to be able to carry your child in their car seat without the extra bulk and weight. The material is high quality and feels luxurious. It's very soft and my baby seems happy and comfortable in it. The newborn insert is great too. It's plush and provides the extra support a newborn needs. The canopy extension that is built into the visor is awesome! It's easy to pull out when you want to use it and just as easy to put back when you're done with it. I like that it provides total coverage of the car seat. It keeps strangers out, blocks the sun and other elements, and it's a breathable fabric so it doesn't get too hot for my son. I'm always forgetting the car seat cover so it's nice to have one built in. It's clear the overall design was well thought out. My favorite feature of this car seat is how easy it is to install. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. It took seconds to install safely and securely with the RAPIDLOCK belt tensioner. I like that the base has a bubble level indicator so you can ensure it's level and secure. You also have the option to install without the base using the taxi-safe belt path. When we drive my husband's car that is how we install this. It's very easy and straightforward to install that way as well. If you need a car seat that is easy to transport and install from car to car, this is it! And last but certainly not least, this City GO Air has all the safety features. Baby Jogger has engineered and tested this car seat to protect your child in rollover, front, rear, and side collisions. I personally love the the anti-rebound bar on the base that will help absorb and reduce movement in an accident. This seat was by far the easiest to install Out of all seats we've tried. The material is soft and seems to hold up better than other brands. The sheild built in is an added bonus. It's very convenient and I feel better knowing it's built into the seat and passes all safety tests. He seems really comfortable and rides smooth. In fact he doesn't even wake up when I transfer his seat from base to stroller. We received this product free from the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for our honest feedback!

What a car seat! I was given this car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and it has been such a treat to use in my daily commute. I purposefully didn't try to install the base because I wanted to truly use the car seat for on-the-go purposes. Installing was a breeze! There is a safety belt path that makes the car seat easy to hold in place while moving from vehicle to vehicle. I can't speak to the installation of the base as I did not use it, but I imagine it would be a simple install like most car seats. My baby boy is almost four months and nearly 25 pounds ( i know, i know he's a chunky one!) so I am always concerned when I see "infant" car seat because I always think it's for small to average sized babies, but he was very comfortable in this car seat! I was surprised because the car seat we normally use always makes him cry and I think he's uncomfortable, but he was very quiet and happy in this one! Speaking of how big he is, let me tell you how easy it was to carry him! The padded carrying handle was by far my favorite feature. I'm not sure why it took me so long to see how useful the padded carrying handle was, but it is very helpful. Especially with such a heavy baby! I was able to pick him up, in and out of the car with ease and not disturb him from his sleep. Another feature I liked was the pull down shade. This was extremely useful for the days we were walking around and the sun was shining bright. I liked the breathable material and how the shade kept him cool, but also let him feel the breeze. I would recommend buying the stroller that accompanies this car seat because after a while carrying him did get tiresome, but for short distances or quick trips it would be good to carry. All in all, this is a great car seat that is definitely worth it!

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this car seat. Installing the base was very easy and quick due to the rapidlock feature. I love the securestop anti-rebound bar too. It makes the base feel extra secure to the car as it prevents the base from moving at all. I've had other car seat brands without this feature and the base always has some wiggle to it so it was comforting when this base didn't wiggle. I also like that this car seat went through 6 different safety tests and looks nice. Living in Southern California, it gets very hot so the flex shade canopy extension is great to completely protect my 6 week old son from the sun. It has a soft material that's breathable. Although I didn't use the taxi-safe belt path, I love that it's an available feature. Compared to other brands I've tried, this car seat is about the average weight and size you'd expect for a car seat. The only thing I didn't like is that the harness adjustment button is under the harness adjustment strap so it's not easily visible. Overall, I highly recommend the baby jogger city go air car seat. It made me feel safe and comfortable using it for my 6 week old son.

I received this car seat as part if the Stellar Product Testing Panel. First of all, I have to say that there are so many things that I love about this car seat. I was particularly excited about the fact that this seat is so light weight, only about 8 pounds. I have issues with my back and wrist so the lighter the weight, the easier it is for me to carry. I also appreciate that this seat can be installed with or without the base. If you're traveling or live in a big city where you use taxis or Uber, a base-less installation is a must have feature. Installing the base into my vehicle was extremely easy. I was a little confused on where to find the lower anchor attachment straps at first, but eventually I figured out how to get the little storage door open. Attaching the anchor hooks to my vehicle's lower anchors was a breeze. The base is narrow enough that you have great visibility and access to them. I also practiced installing the seat without the base using the taxi-safe belt path. So easy!! Some of the other features I love about this car seat are the canopy with the fabric that can be draped over the entire seat. It's great for keeping the mosquitos off my baby here in Wisconsin. Having the little fabric storage flap inside the canopy is genius...so convenient. I also appreciate the level indicator guide on the car seat base. It shows you exactly where the bubble should be located depending on your child's weight. What a great safety feature. My only complaint about this awesome car seat is the infant insert padding. It is kind of ugly and the fabric is not soft at all. Hopefully they come out with something a little nicer in the future. Overall, I love this seat and baby girl seems to be comfortable in it. I will definitely be recommending this seat to others.

First of all, I cannot get over this fabric! The high-quality was evident the moment I opened the box and took out the car seat. It is incredibly plush, comfortable and durable. However, the real game-changer with this car seat is the built-in canopy. To be able to protect my little one from the germs of the outside world is so important to me (especially these days), so this canopy is the necessity I didn't know I needed! Also, the installation was so simple and fast. My car is the primary one our little one rides in, but when she needs to go with dad, having the incredibly easy base-less install was so handy. In the City GO Air, she was comfortable (important to her) and she was safe (important to me!). I can't ask for more in a car seat. The City GO Air is an awesome car seat. There are multiple features including but not limited to, easy anchor attachments, lightness of car seat and ease of installation. My favorite feature is the shade canopy. It easily hides in the lid so it's not in the way when not in use, but can conveniently be pulled down to cover the baby. It's breathable mesh, keeping my daughter cool but providing shade. My mother-in-law was visiting this last week and I was amazed at the ease in which you could install the car seat without a base. It has a mechanism that locks the lap belt in place, leaving me worry free that my mom-in-law could install correctly. My wife also loves how light it is to carry. As far as car seats go, this is one of the lightest I've ever owned. When taking my older kids to school, there was no need to transfer baby to a stroller, this seat was light enough that I could just carry baby in his seat. The base goes in pretty quickly, and I feel like it snaps in very securely compared to other brands. While this seat excelled in portability, it lacks in comfort. Because it is so light, padding was clearly an afterthought. It really has none and my baby didn't care for that. The canopy really is a pain and it's very flimsy, which I understand because it adds less weight. Overall, this is an awesome seat if you need to move from car to car frequently or you just want a really light seat. I was given this car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I got a chance to try out Baby Jogger City Go Air infant car seat and, oh boy, it exceeded my expectations! I am familiar with Baby Jogger brand and was amazed by their stroller and now, they did it again with this car seat. Whether you need to jump quickly into your car for a ride or take a taxi to your doctor's appointment or make a shopping trip again, it will be a breeze with this car seat since it is ultra lightweight (only 8 lb), easy to install with or without base. It took me less than a minute to install base since everything is marked nicely and bright and it has push button latch system which is a life saver! I had no problem to use it in a taxi (has marking for seat belt to put while in a taxi with beautiful, bright blue color). My best feature is flex shade canopy drape made with breathable fabric which was very useful to protect my baby from sun and wind. You don't need to search for some covering at the very last minute when you need it like it happened to me a million times and I always had to adjust it, it would fall every few minutes even because of baby moving, or wind or something else. This is connected to the car seat, and when pulled down, stays on with elastic band until YOU need to remove it, so always ready and prepared. I caught myself still checking if it is on at first (due to bad experience from the past when I didn't have this feature) but you know what they say - you get used to something good quick and easy. Also, it helped dim the lights in my building when I come home late so my baby stay asleep and cozy. And he still has lightly covered sides of it so my baby could explore around even when it is sunny. This car seat is little on expensive side but when I saw that its RapidLock base includes anti-rebound bar for added stability which reduces rearward movement in frontal collision and, the seat exceeded safety standards and was even tested for side impact and extreme temperatures, I was sold. During this testing period my baby was teething and was very fussy but luckily (as you can see on some pictures) he was very comfortable and fell asleep instantly in this car seat thanks to the additional infant insert and OptiVent moisture wicking material that kept him cool and comfy. Also, 5 points system is a must with every car seat! So, if you are someone like me always on the go, either by car/taxi or using travel system and need to travel as light as possible but always have safety of your baby on your mind first, than the price will not be an issue and this car seat will be perfect for your baby!

This car seat has been a game changer for our family! Some days our three year old needs a little more attention than normal and having a lightweight car seat means we can carry both kids at the same time! We are so thankful to have been given this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel! The built in sun shade is also a fantastic feature! I wish there was a way to secure it a bit better when not in use as it will sometimes fall into our baby's face but it is so nice to use when we're out and about! It was very easy install with the base and has been a breeze to install in grandparent's cars without the base thanks to the seat belt path. We would definitely recommend this car seat not anyone who asks.

This carseat was very easy to install. I only have one base and two vehicles so we installed the base in one car and used the carseat in the other car without the base. Installing the carseat without the base is no problem. I love using the taxi-safe belt path. It helps the carseat feel much more secure when it is installed without the base and it is very easy to use. Installing the base took less than 5 minutes. I found it to be very intuitive. Overall my daughter was comfortable in the carseat. She is almost one and therefore a little on the tall side for this seat. I think if we had started using it when she was younger she would have really liked it. The anti-rebound bar on the base gives me a lot of ease. I am glad to see it on more carseats in the US. The lightweight of the carseat made it much easier to carry my almost one year old around. I really like how easy it is to put the carseat on my stroller. I have a City Mini 2 and the adapters from an older Baby Jogger carseat worked. I found the sunshade difficult to use. It is easy to attach to the handle but taking it off the handle was tough. I ended up leaving it attached to the handle all the time. The sunshade cannot be used without attaching it to the handle. This meant that I had to put the handle up anytime I wanted to shade my daughter from the sun. If I forgot to put it up when putting her in the car I wouldn't be able to put the sunshade up without stopping the car and getting out. When she was younger this wouldn't have been a problem, but now she likes to look around. So I have found myself needing to put the sunshade up and down during a drive. When I saw that this carseat had an integrated sun cover I was excited. There are so many times that I am placing a muslin over the carseat to protect my baby from the sun or to encourage naps while out and about. The integrated sun cover was very easy to use. It helped protect my baby from the sun both in the car and when on walks. I received this carseat as part of the Stellar Product Testing panel.

So I have the original City GO car seat and base and so I'm able to compare them easily. The City GOAir is much lighter and the handle is shorter which actually helps you keep it closer to your body adding to the lightweight feeling. There is less padding in the seat and you have to thread the straps to adjust height, but it doesn't take away from the safety or design. The only thing I didn't like was the shade which has no wire or boning and must be attached to the handle to be fully in use. Not sure why they had to sacrifice that for weight? But it does come with a cool sheer screen that can cover baby completely and provide shade and privacy but is still breathable. That stays tucked into the main shade until you need it. Installing the base was super easy and I love the safety features on it. I did try to use the taxi save belt feature but the seatbelt didn't pull out far enough to be able to slip it through. I only tried it in one car, so not sure if it works on other cars. Other than that, baby is cool, comfortable and protected and I'm able to carry her in it much easier than the original City GO car seat! I love the City Go Air Infant car seat. Installation in our minivan was easy and quick with the latch buckles and the RapidLock base. The base installed securely and the car seat snaps into the base easily. I love that I can feel and hear the seat latch to the base knowing it is secure. My 7lb baby fits very comfortably and stays cool in the seat. A feature I have never seen before and love is the flex shade canopy drape. Just being able to pull the drape out from the canopy and cover the entire seat is wonderful! The anti-rebound bar makes sure to keep the whole seat secure when we have to brake hard. This seat attaches to my Baby Jogger stroller system for an easy transition from car to events. Finally it needs to be mentioned that this seat is so light. The Baby Jogger City Go Air Infant Car Seat is a dream! I am excited to have been introduced to this brand, thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel as I was provided this seat to test and review! I read the safety inserts and instructions before use, but after doing so, noted that the design is so user friendly that functionality was so obvious, like how to find and attach the anchor clips, and how to tighten the harness properly. The base clicks in in seconds via anchor clips, and the added security of the seat belt securing under the rebound bar is a nice feature. We tested the car seat without the base, using the taxi-safe seatbelt path. It performs well on our daily commute route. This is a nice feature for parents like us who alternate daycare pickup and drop off responsibilities. We have one base, so being able to load baby into a car safely without having to swap the base between cars every time is crucial for us. My favorite component is the extended canopy, which completely covers the child. No more feet exposed to direct sun! I tested this out on a particularly hot day as I parked about a minute walk instead of right next to our destination. I took baby out of the seat upon arrival indoors, and to my relief, she had remained at a safe temperature and wasn't sweaty. I wouldn't use a car seat as a stroller seat on a hot day simply due to the nature of how much fabric is surrounding the child, however, using this complete coverage canopy was really helpful in shielding my child from the unforgiving summer sun! I can foresee this being a great feature in cold weather as well, helping to keep wind off and heat in. The weight of this seat is very attractive as well as it is one of the lightest in its class. As infants gain weight and carrying them in a car seat is a necessity until they can walk, the added pounds become cumbersome for a small person such as myself. This seat offered some relief from that struggle. The rebound bar is an excellent safety feature. The fact that it is integrated into the latching system of the base gave me peace of mind. I was concerned that it may be in the way of baby's comfort during travel, but she seemed to like having something to kick her feet against! The only complaint I have is the price tag of this seat. It is by far my favorite car seat I've tried with all the safety and comfort features, however, the price tag would likely prevent me from purchasing it retail. That aside, this is a well-designed car seat that I am completely confident in both its comfort and safety. This is the lightest car seat I've ever picked up. I'm still in awe of how light it is and how easy it is to pick up and tote around with you. You don't realize how much heavier other seats are until you actually put your baby in this one and feel the difference in weight. It's a game changer. The bar on top also has a grip handle which is comfortable and secure when transferring baby in and out of the car. The base of the seat is a bit large but the install was incredibly simple. While I most likely won't use it without the base, I tried it out and it was an easy install as well. I also like that you can adjust the position of the seat to accommodate your babies needs. I've never seen this before on an infant seat and it will be very useful as the baby grows and wants different positions while in the car. I'm also a fan of anti-rebound bar as an additional safety feature. Gives me an added layer of protection for my daughter. The sun canopy I found a bit flimsy and it detaches if you're not careful because it's attached with Velcro. However it extends out and covers the entire car seat which makes up for that. It so much simpler to have that feature then an additional cover or carrying (and possibly forgetting) an extra blanket. It also keeps bugs out which is great for the summer months! The actual seat fabric is soft and looks durable but it's nothing fancy. My daughter was incredibly content sitting in the seat, but the fabric is a bit thin for my liking. It is machine washable which is always a win in my book! I received this product from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and it's been great thus far. My daughter is seven months and I'm looking forward to having her grow with this seat. I'm actually looking at a compatible travel stroller to complete the package!

I was given the Baby Jogger City GO AIR infant car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have a three month old son and a two year old son, so the backseats of our vehicles are taken up by car seats. My husband and I both work shift work and we work opposite shifts to be able to keep our boys at home with us, which means that we need a car seat in each vehicle. The city GO AIR infant car seat can be used with or without the base, making it less time consuming when we have to switch between vehicles. I was able to easily and securely install the car seat base in my car in less than five minutes and my husband has been able to utilize the taxi-safe belt path feature for a base-less install in his truck several times with ease. Up until now, my baby has never enjoyed being in the car seat. He seems very content and comfortable in the city GO AIR car seat every time we are on the road. The material is very soft and very easy to clean (my baby's favorite time to have an explosive diaper is in his car seat). A car seat's safety features is one of the most important things for us when looking for a car seat, and the city GO AIR provides just that! My favorite safety feature about this car seat is the RAPIDLOCK base. It's quick to install, and secures in place with no wiggle room. Besides the safety features, this car seat comes with amazing extras! This car seat is extremely lightweight which is great for carrying a growing boy in it! My favorite feature of this car seat is the flex shade canopy extension. The extension is made up of a thin, yet protective material that provides complete coverage from outdoor elements (specifically the sun) and has breathable mesh on either side which seems to allow more airflow than other after market car seat covers. One thing that I would change about this car seat would be to have a single button to reposition the carrying bar. You have to use both hands to reposition the carrying, and anyone with a child (or more than one) knows that there is rarely a time where you have two free hands! This con is definitely just a preference and convenience, and would not steer me away from purchasing this incredible car seat! The other thing that I would change is to have a canopy that is permanently attached to the car seat. The canopy on this car seat is attached with Velcro, and every time the carrying handle is pushed back, the Velcro detaches from one side (or both). The canopy also clips onto the carrying handle and has no structure without being clipped. The problem with this is that if you unclip it, there is no coverage from the sun for baby. If you leave it clipped while carrying baby, you have to carry the car seat with one hand (which is quite difficult) instead of being able to carry it in the crook of your arm. While this car seat has a lot of great features, I am on the fence on whether or not I would recommend it for purchase. If you are looking for a car seat that has great safety features, can easily be moved from vehicle to vehicle, and is lightweight, this car seat is for you! If you are looking for a car seat that provides continuous protection from the sun for your baby while still being easy to carry, I would recommend to continue looking for a different car seat.
