It was bought for a Neice whom had twins. I needed to replace the infant portion of the mommaru.

The newborn insert is a must-have! Soft and supportive - helps baby stay in position. An added bonus is that I'm able to tuck in around its edges the baby's blanket...something I'm unable to do without it. Love it!

The infant insert is necessary for a newborn. My 5 lb 11 oz daughter wouldn't fit without it.

It did it's job of keeping my newborn centered in the swing but the flat part for his head is too rigid and it tips his head forward or he had to turn his head to the side.. Maybe try to put a little more give in the head piece so baby can rest his/her head back in a neutral, more comfortable way.

Soft and cozy, perfect insert for a preemie baby. I would recommend this.

I love how it's reversible and the cushion seems to be comfortable for my baby. Worked well for the time I received the swing as a gift-when my baby was 6 weeks old. She definitely seemed to fit into the seat better with the insert.

It's ok... it's not that comfortable on my baby's head. The rest of the body is fine, just the seams to be floating around trying to find a place to get comfortable in.

may be if the swing can swing not only left to right but front to back will be even a greater product.

This is great for newborns. It's like a snug little pocket you can place your baby in so they fit perfectly into the Momaroo. I don't mind the pattern and colors that they have but I would love if they ever released something new and different in the future. My nursery's theme was a light beige so the grey really stands out against the warm tones but that's the only thing I that I'm not 100% satisfied with. Other than that I love it and definitely reccomend to any new momma or daddy out there with a momaroo and a newborn.

Great addition, especially if you have a smaller infant. This is for my grandchildren, I wish these were around with my children. Best swing/rocker on the market in my opinion...

I tried both the mamaroo and bounceroo with and without the newborn insert, my baby seemed more secure and comfy with the insert. He seems quite satisfied with the insert.

Love this pattern! Looks great in person. Great for boy or girl.

It shud be hard from back as doctor recommend to lay down newborn baby on straight n hard surface
