The tray works fine for baby; easy to take on and off (just watch for little fingertips when snapping it on!!!). However, whoever designed it clearly isn't the one cleaning it on a regular basis! The underside is an open honeycomb-style plastic moulding; why wouldn't this simply be covered up with a flat piece of plastic???? Such a hassle to clean this!!! Think the underside is impossible to get dirty?.... You'd be surprised!!

I like that the lip is able to catch runaway fluids and food. I also like that it's dishwasher safe. However, I don't love the slightly textured surface. Makes it difficult for a tight suction with the babies plates/bowls.

Read reviews and was concerned about it being difficult. Sometimes it takes a bit to find the release tab, but it is still way easier that other trays that I have used. Also saw a review on stains, no issues so far and we haven't been immediate to rinse it off. And we bought the white one FYI. When the little one is big enough for spaghetti it might be a different story but it's a high chair tray...and while it is stylish as long as it works great and is clean I am good with some stains if they come. Other than that, it works great with the chair, which we love. 6mo loves that her feet are supported and can support herself and move around comfortably because of it. It doesn't have a tight fit or ability to move the tray in tight. Others might not like this, but I am really happy with it...a bit of extra mess to clean up but the benefits out weigh the mess. The kid is safely in the chair without relying on the tray to keep them in and we can unclip the harness and pull her right out with the tray still attached to the chair.

Taking it off and putting it on is very easy but the textured tray seems to stain with foods.

This is an expensive tray but we really enjoy it. The texture is nice and easy to clean. We read reviews that suction toys and dishes wouldn't attach but this hasn't been an issue for us. We like that the tray can stay on while you move kiddo into and out of seat.

If you have the Tripp Trapp chair, you NEED this tray! It's the perfect size and makes clean up so easy! Very pleased. 🌟

The tray is light weight and easy to remove and attach. I love the black color, which hides stains from foods like tomato sauce and carrots. I don't know why anyone would buy a white tray! lol. I love everything about this product and the high chair!

We have been using the tray for months and it looks brand new. I simply wipe it down after every use and haven't seen a single stain.

I like the look of it and how easily it snaps on and off but the staining is a deal breaker for me. Everything from oranges to melon to tomato sauce stains it almost instantly. Essentially everything an infant eats. They should include a rubber mat with the tray if it's not properly designed for infants.

I don't understand the 1 star rate?? I've been using this for the longest and it's so practical and matched the chair so well! Easy to clean and snap back and fww. Love it!

Food easily stains the white tray and the stains can not be cleaned off. I purchased this tray on 5/9/2019 so we have only used it for about two months and the tray just stains more and more with continued use, even just carrots and sweet potatoes stain the tray orange. It's a great tray to have for the high chair but I would highly recommend NOT getting the white tray and getting a different color.
