This thing has truly saved my sanity! I'll admit I was skeptical but our 5 month old took too it immediately. Our soon has suffered from silent reflux and would only sleep in a rock and play, trying to transition him to a crib was a nightmare. He never lasted more than 15 min before screaming. With the dockatot he sleeps in the crib almost all night! He's a big baby and I was worried that buying the deluxe at 5 months old would be a waste but it keeps him perfectly snuggled and it's well worth the money. We will probably purchase the grande once he grows out of this.

I was super on the fence about buying this because of the price and I didn't want to end up with one more piece of useless baby equipment taking up space. My husband convinced me to buy it and I'm so glad he did. We don't use it for co-sleeping. My husband and I are both slim but it really doesn't fit comfortably in a queen size bed unless both people only sleep on their side. We mostly use it on the couch in the living room. It's so nice to be able to put our 2 month old son down in a safe space and not have to worry if I doze off or need to run to the kitchen for water, snacks,etc. It did take a couple weeks for him to get used to it but now he loves just hanging out in it. It certainly wasn't some miracle worker that suddenly allows us to sleep 8 hours straight but it's certainly made it easier for me to get naps in as well as get stuff done around the house. I didn't realize how much I depended on it until he threw up in it at 8pm and I immediately ran downstairs to throw it in the wash cause I couldn't imagine my morning without it! One of my top 5 baby necessities.

We LOVE our Dock A Tot! My one month old literally sleeps for hours in hers! I love that the cover is machine washable and it's super cute too!

I bought it because I would see post after post of how this thing miraculously put babies to sleep but it did nothing for us. It was a good thing to have the first couple of months because my son slept between my husband and I but after that it was just there for show. It didn't work on the plane, it didn't help with the crib transition and it didn't make my baby sleep longer. As soon as he was able to roll over he wanted nothing to do with it anymore.

We have loved our DocATot! It has made traveling and transitioning so much easier than it was with our first. We are ordering the grand in a few weeks!

I feel so comfortable with my baby in the Doc-a-tot and feel like I can place him anywhere without worry of him falling, rolling over or getting smashed by us or pets. . He sleeps better and so do we!

We bought this Dock a tot for our friends, since it worked magic for our 1.5 month baby girl! She use to get up every 2.5 to 3 hrs and the first night we put her in it swaddled, she slept 5hrs and now she sleeps 7-8hrs!!!! Our friends baby now sleeps 7 hrs as well! We bought the Dockatot at 2 am when we our 6 week old still wouldn't fall asleep. She would only sleep if I was holding her. Since we've gotten the Dockatot her and I both are sleeping much better, and safer! I've been able to sleep better knowing she is right beside me and still safe! So far she loves it and only wakes to nurse. The first day we got it we put her in it and she put her self to sleep! Great product and will be moving toward the grand once she gets a little bigger. Just wish we would have gotten it sooner!

This purchase was definitely worth the price. It is the perfect little accessory for any baby!! We took it with us to the hospital and it was great to know that we placed him in something clean and snuggled him while he slept.

I am an over anxious first time mom. When we brought baby home from the hospital, she hated her bassinet. The only ACOG approved place she would sleep was in her pack-n-play bassinet. I had her sleep in that bassinet on my bed. By 3.5 months, she was quickly outgrowing it and still refused to sleep in her normal bassinet or crib (I can't blame her, the mattresses are so hard). Besides, I am still over anxious and want her closer to me than what her bassinet or crib could offer. I found the Dock-A-Tot online. I was hesitant because of the price and don't really have it in the budget to buy these new baby products that have recently hit the market with seemingly miraculous claims. I decided to give it a try based on the reviews. I liked that it was made with breathable fabric, allowed her to be in arms reach, and was equipped with a clasp that would allow her to use it longer as she grew. Needless to say, after it was delivered, I was so happy to see an added bonus; that the mat is a little more cushy than the hard bassinet mattress that seems to offend my little one so much. My baby loves her Dock-A-Tot; therefore, so do I.

At the time of my purchase, my baby was 8 weeks and sooo fussy. I read many positive reviews for the Dockatot and how miraculous it was for putting babies to sleep. I thought once I put my baby in, her fussiness would vanish but that was not the case. I suppose it is something I need to "train" her to use. We don't use it for co-sleeping but we used it to help her with tummy time which was great. We also use it for when we're on the couch or the bed and we don't have to worry about her rolling off. I do like that it is travel friendly.

My daughter is sleeping more soundly and for longer periods of time since I've purchased Doc A Tot. I'm in love with this product because I can now sleep more soundly as well!

I was extremely skeptical purchasing this product. Either way i had to try it for myself, the first 2 days of day my daughter about hated it and i was furious. Ready to shop it back, I decided to try it one more night. That must have been just what she needed because now she loves her dock! It may not always help prolong sleep, but for us we can take the dock when we travel and she won't be disturbed to sleep elsewhere.

I bought this when my baby boy was 2 months but i wished i had bought it sooner! When we put him down in his dockatot he would fall asleep. Now my husband and I can sleep through the night since our baby does too :) we hardly have to rock him to sleep and it's great for co-sleeping. I really like that the fabric is breathable! We've only had our dockatot for a few weeks but so far it's love ! We were determined to try something different with our third babe after our second was a terrible sleeper. Dockatot came highly recommended. We love that Hunter feels safe and secure and sleeps 6-8 hours at a a time !!! Plus with us traveling a lot it's so much easier to take with us than the bulky pack n play ! Overall it's 5 stars from us.

Our son has been using the deluxe for almost 3 months now and this last week we took it on a trip overseas. It was so nice for him to sleep some where familiar while there, but he also came home and slept for 7 hours the night we returned! The dock-a-tot helps with jet lag too!!

My baby girl was 10 lbs at birth so I was a little worried that this would be too small for her, but I'm really happy I purchased this anyway. The size suggestion are 100% correct in FAQ. If you have a infant under 9mos get the smaller version. It's snug on my daughter but it makes her feel secure and help her sleep more soundly. She's about 15lbs now and 3 mos old and I can absolutely see her using this until she's about 8/9 mos. So, moms with beautifully chunky babies please don't be afraid of getting this!

We bought our Deluxe before we were even discharged from the hospital. Our son wanted to be snuggled up and he just looked so unhappy in the bassinet.... it came on his 3rd or 4th night home and he started sleeping great. Unfortunately, he did outgrow it rather quickly and now at 7months old I will have to do some convincing to get my husband on board with buying the Grand. But now that my son is out of the dock he sleeps awful!! So.... I'm hoping the Grand is in our future. If I'd known my son would outgrow the Deluxe so soon I would have went straight for the Grand.

Love being able to have our babe sleeping safely with us. She has refused to sleep anywhere but next to me since day one and this has been a life saver! She sleeps great in it and it allows us to sleep great too. It so easy to move around the house and give her a snuggly place to nap while I'm doing other things. My son had Pyloric Stenosis the first 6 weeks and I bought this to help with keeping him kinda propped up so I put a pillow under it and the bumpers helped keep him in place and comfortable. It was amazing and I passed it on to my sister when he outgrew it. She loves it. I'd recommend it to anyone with a new born sleeping in your bed.

this is all you need when bringing home your new baby! if you are on the fence BUY IT! we take it everywhere with us, especially when we know we may be someplace the baby could fall asleep, grandparents house, friends house... it really changed the way our munchkin slept, just the way you will read about in all the other reviews... he went from a terrible sleeper to a champion! however where we found the most value was that when we travel or when the kiddos stay at grandmas house nothing changes... there are no new smells or new environments because where he lays his head is just like at home, it is like packing up the entire crib to bring for a weekend trip.... it really is amazing! He has slept in his dockatot since he was 3 months old and now is 13 months, we haven't moved up sizes yet because he really like the one he has, and just within the last month it has gotten to small for him.

I debated getting a Dock-a-Tot for the longest time because of the cost which was a little more than our budget. Finally got it when my son was about 3 months old. He was sleeping 2 hours at a time and his first night in the Dock-a-Tot he slept almost 6 hours straight!!! I felt like a new woman the next morning!!! He took all of his naps and slept overnight in the Dock until he was about 8 months. Now we are debating buying the Grand for him. I have heard that some babies didn't like the Dock but my baby sure did!

The dockatot is made of high quality materials. There's no doubt about that. However at 4 months my daughter was absolutely squished in there. I know it's supposed to be snug but her arms had no space and her feet were hanging out. Also, we had major problems with our cover. Taking it off and putting it back on eventually broke one of the zippers right off. Lastly, we had our little girl in the dockatot every day for naps and bed.. and guess what? You can't just take it away and say we're done. It was a NIGHTMARE trying to get her to stop using it.

I bought the doc a tot while sleep deprived in the wee hours and couldn't believe that I had spent that much money on this item. But, it is very well made and we used it all of the time. I still think it is way overpriced for what you are getting, but I felt completely safe letting my son sleep in it, it was so easy to travel with (I would even pack it in a suitcase in carryon!), and he used it so much that it was worth the money spent and I would do it again.
