I purchased my Nomi highchair about a month ago and absolutely love it. My son just turned 6 months today. What I love about the chair is that he can be included at the table. I researched this chair and the history about the inventor ( I do recommend reading about the inventor and the history of this chair, that’s what sold me) and how important it is for babies and toddlers to be comfortable while eating. I learned about how important the positioning in a baby/child/adult body while eating is and when comfortable the baby is most likely eat more which sounds like common sense but learning how feet dangling from the chair will cause a baby/ toddler to fidget. Just like adults have their feet firmly on the ground when eating, babies also need to as well or they become fidgety and likely to not want to be in their highchair for long. My experience with the Nomi highchair my son can sit in this chair for so long which makes me believe he is comfortable in it. I have fed him and was able to clean my kitchen and still no cries to come out the chair. I love the foot rest. It’s so easy to clean this chair, I purchased the white chair. I just use a wet wipe or wet paper towel to clean. It was so easy to assemble, took me about 20 minutes. With this chair you will have to purchase the tray separately. I purchased the tray because I felt like my son needed it when he is sitting in the chair away from the table and I’m feeding him and I can give him his favorite toy so he can play a little while he’s in his chair. This chair is very light weight. It is easy to glide to the next room or pick up. I also don’t worry about my son pushing or kicking himself back and causing the chair to fall back because the Nomi chair is designed to prevent that on the back wheels there’s a stopper to prevent that. I love that the chair grows with the child and it’s so easy to adjust to your child’s height, no tools necessary. All you need to do is turn the knobs to loosen, slide up or down, turn and tighten the knobs back once you have the setting you need. This chair can be used from infant to adult. One dislike that I have is that my son is on the bigger side (6 months 24 pounds) and it’s kind of hard to get him in and out of the chair. I find it harder to get him out. It’s not that bad, I find that when I get behind the chair and pull him out it’s easier. Also the chair doesn’t come with any cushioning. But I’m fine with it, to me it doesn’t look that comfortable but it must be for him because he’ll stay in it without crying to get it him out. It’s not bulky, it looks nice wherever I put it. Doesn’t take up much space. It is the height of your average dining table. It is lower than the higher top table. Overall my baby loves this chair. The chair works because my baby will stay and feed until he is done with his food or even when he’s not eating he’ll stay in it. My baby is very content while he is in this chair. I would recommend this highchair.
