My little guy loves his mamaroo. And it lets ME get stuff done around the house, since he will stay in it for a few hours without issue at all. And for this cloth-diapering mama, having laundry time is a priceless asset - worth the price just for that. I just wish I could rotate the seat so instead of swaying side to side, it goes back and forth, since sometimes the only way for me to sooth him is to swing him in my arms side to side (from my perspective), which puts it back and forth for him. Also, being able to plug in my phone to play music from there would be nice, since I do not have an ipod or other mp3 player. =/

This product was an awesome combination gift that we received from family. We received two of them. As far as ease of putting together - this was the ONLY baby item that my husband was thrilled about. Very intuitive and nicely constructed. When my sister's visiting Laborador came over and drooled over the seats, they were easily removed, washed, and replaced in a matter of seconds. The various movements are great because the boys seem to get tired of the same old thing. We did have warranty issue with one of the bases. Again the easiest company we have ever had to deal with as far as replacements are concerned. I had a new base in a matter of 2 days (in comparison of waiting 4+ months from a big crib retailer for a replacement rail for our newly bought cribs!) Lastly, our boys are 5 months old and still rocking in the Mamaroo! at 15lbs+ each. Signed, a Very Greatful Mom of 3.

my wife and I have 7 month old twin boys and were really excited about these swings. We bought 2 of them and at times they have been very very great. our boys love them. The one issue that i have with them is that they squeak rather loud. its almost as if it needs greased! Anything to fix this?

I was really excited to buy this for my little boy.. but sadly we use it only as his seat coz of the diff inclines it can be set in.. he doesn't seem to enjoy the movements. And within a couple of weeks (he is 10 weeks now) it won't be used anymore coz he's already starting to bend forward. It is misleading to say this product is for upto 25lbs babies.. its really only for upto 3 months n that's a lot of money for using only for 3 months. Wish this had a car seat kind of securing belt which goes from shoulder to waist. Also vibrating modes would be a great feature..since this is meant for newborns and newborns can be lulled with some vibration very easily! I am very very sad this has not been as useful as I imagined and it will not be useful as a seat as well for long :(( If there is anyway we can at least get a more secure seat belt so he cannot bend forward it would be great! It is not worth the money I've put in! :((

We only have had this a day but it is fun and the first thing our baby girl will sit in for more than 10 minutes. She will only sleep on me but has slept for an hour a few times on this and hope it continues. She is almost 6 weeks. But two suggestions. For the cost, a remote controller would be a great item to have with this! Another suggestion is to be able to turn off the led light that is very bright.

This is an absolute MUST have! My daughter hated the traditional swing so when we purchased this we were a bit hesitant but she LOVED being in it! Definitely using again for my next child!

I received this as a gift when my first son was born in 2010...I loved it, but he didn't (still doesn't like swings!) Knowing we would have more children, we saved it. Son #2 came along one month ago and I couldn't wait to use the mamaroo. He LOVED it! I was thrilled, however after a only a few uses it continues to shut down for no reason:-( my husband tried to figure out why it keeps happening but there's no apparent remedy. I'm super bummed. I think I have a lemon.

This is a fabulous product for babies. Soft plush seat, completely washable for those inevitable accidents. Fun little balls on the mobile, iPod hook up, and a variety of motions and speeds. All this fabulous-ness had friends of ours do they make this for grown ups? PS - 4moms, I'd be happy to test one for adults. It could be a 4moms item, for moms! ;D

This is a must have for a new mom! It keeps my baby calm and rocks her to sleep so i can also sleep! Highly recommend this product!

My son loves his mamaRoo...it was the only thing that would calm him down during his early growth spurts. Now, at almost 6 months, he still loves it. He always looks so comfortable--it makes me want an adult-sized mamaRoo! **Edit from 4moms Customer Support**

I've been through a ton of baby products in my day - I'm on kid #4 - and not many compare to this one. It's movements are so natural that my son absolutely loves it. I do wish that there was a compartment or pocket to keep the MP3 cord in, so it's not lost when not in use. But that's honestly the only thing I think of to suggest. They've thought of everything with this one. **Edit from 4moms Customer Support** LRR - Glad you and baby #4 are loving it and thanks for the suggestion! We've actually added a pocket to the rockaRoo to hold the cord and likely will do that on any revamps of the mamaRoo as well. Great minds think alike :) Thanks!

nothing worked to soothe my other two or keep them happy when I needed to put them down. The mamaroo has been awesome to have around this time!!! My daughter is easily soothed and content to sit and hang out!

The Mamaroo is awesome, I love how it's so much smaller then every other swing. We have limited space and a regular swing just wasn't working in our house so the Mamaroo is a lifesaver! My two month old really enjoys being in it and it gives me a safe & fun place to set him down when I need to take care of his big sisters. My son hated the traditional swing - but the moment that I put him in the mamaRoo - he didn't fuss or scream. It took awhile for him to warm up to some of the other motions but he took to the "tree swing" motion immediately! Put him right to sleep. The next day we tried another motion and because of the movement the mobile moved and he spent about a half hour trying to get the mobile that was moving and bouncing :) Love this product and already have recommended to all my pregnant friends :)

The mamaRoo is hands down the best product we have for our newest little addition to the family. Our little boy loves the plush seat and the variety of motion, as well as the nature sounds included (especially the rain!) I ordered the mamaRoo for my newborn niece. The company said 6-7 days to ship and my sister called to say it showed up 4 days later! Amazing service from the company, the mamaRoo was easy to set up, and best of all my niece loves it! Its exactly as advertised. Amazing product!

Saw the mamaRoo on the Ellen show and then again on G&B. Finally decided to order it and my little one loves it! I love that it comes with the black and white option on the mobile and that the seat adjusts for feedings when older. :)

I saw this product on a rebroadcast of the Ellen DeGeneres and ordered it the same day. My daughter, now 12 weeks, would not tolerate a bouncy chair or swing. She was only happy with a sleeper/rocker seat that I had to rock continuously. With the mamaRoo, she is happy and I am, too! She is almost 12 pounds and I am dreading the day she is too big for her mamaRoo! I hope by that time they make a mamaRoo for bigger kids. I wish I knew about this company before I had my baby showers. I would have registered for all of their products.

We love the mamaRoo! It's definitely a must for all parents due to its compact size, portability, modern/smart design and the obvious - the fact that it's more natural than any other motion seat on the market. I would suggest getting the newborn insert, to use from birth, as I've found it "hugs" and supports my newborn perfectly, which makes him feel snug and comfortable while in it. I can't wait to watch him grow and change in the coming months in the mamaRoo! Couldn't live without it right now with having three older kids and not enough hands to go around.

We LOVE the mamaroo! We got it as a gift and was skeptical at first since it's a very fancy swing, but it is more than that! Our son napped in it as a newborn, he's sat there when fussy, and now that he's older, we use it to prop him up to feed him since he can't quite sit in a highchair yet. He loves staring at the toys above and likes listening to the white noises that come with the mamaroo. We're very happy with this product. It has really saved us from buying multiple items since this one did so much! Thank you!

I like that it has different incline positions which no other swing has. It does time out after 10 hours of continuous play (we only know this because we take our son in and out of it throughout the night as it's the only place he'll sleep in and usually forget to stop it while we feed and change him for the night feedings). Don't expect it to work miracles, ie soothe a screaming baby but if your baby is calm, chances he will stay fairly calm in the Mamaroo for a bit. What would make this a 5 star product would be if the mobile moved and it didn't time out.

We had an issue with it stopping and the light flashing. I contacted 4Mom's support on line and heard back from them same day. They told me to try a few things and get back to them. I tried them and it didn't stop the problem so they told me to send them the information they needed including model number, receipt, etc. They again got back to me same day, told me a new base was in the mail. I received it two days later and also instructions for returning the broken part including FREE shipping back to them. I coudn't be happier with the customer service. It's better than any company I have ever dealt with!

We put our son in the MamaRoo on his first day home from the hospital at 3 days old and he's been loving it ever since...he's 11 weeks now! Mommy, daddy, grandma, and grandpa are huge fans and we may even buy a second to keep at grandma and grandpa's house! My only complaint is it only accommodates up to 25 lbs and I'm not sure what we'll do once my son outgrows his beloved MamaRoo!!

I absolutly loved this product when I saw it in the store. Everyone thought I was crazy! After a week of having my son home and I had not slept more than 30 minutes at a time I put him to sleep in his mamaroo (which was super easy to put together) my son has slept all night every night since I put him in it. I play some music I listened to all the time while pregnant with the MP3 player and I now know what sleeping like a baby means!

Just got this today for my 1 month old. What a difference, after putting him in it, he loved it. My son slept in it the whole day. He would wake up, take his feeding and go back to sleep in the mamaroo. I have the blue plush one. It's a soft, attractive fabric.

We highly recommend the mamaroo. It's operation is quiet and offers an array of sounds and motions to soothe the baby. Easy to assemble. Quality product.

We absolutely love the mamaRoo!! Our son is almost 2 months old now and we have used the mamaRoo everyday since we brought him home. It's the first thing that we were able to actually set him down in without him crying. When he was a newborn he would only sleep if he was held or in the mamaRoo - a lifesaver for tired parents. Now that he's a little older, we still use the mamaRoo at least 2-3 times/day when he won't fall asleep in his crib or to entertain him while mom gets ready. We use the sounds on the mamaRoo and vary the movements. Our little guy (11lbs) just graduated from the infant insert (which was a MUST HAVE for a newborn). This is a fantastic product and I highly recommend it!

I hesitated when initially buying this because it was so pricey, but I loved everything about it - the different motions, the mp3 hook-up, the fact that it plugs in instead of batteries. (The plug-in was a major selling point for me.) Now that my son has arrived, he spends a large portion of the day quietly sleeping in the mamaroo. He loves it and I love that he loves it! I worried that the noise of the motor running would be too obnoxious on the higher speed settings, but it's a non-issue. The various motions and speeds allow me to find what is JUST RIGHT for our baby. I do wish it could accommodate a larger child, but seeing as my 2 year old is only 27 lbs I'm sure we'll get plenty of use out of it. My only other complaint is that the infant insert is sold separately at a very high price. We use an infant support from an old car-seat instead. Overall, fabulous product.

My 2 month old daughter loves the mamaroo! I wish they made this for adults...I love the 4moms products. We have the stroller and I cant go anywhere without being asked about it. My only thought would be to somehow make the movements more fluid. My daughter almost looks like she is vibrating

The mamaRoo is everything it is advertised to be. The portability is fantastic. Grandparents live 400 miles away. In about 5 minutes I can have the mamaRoo disassembled and in the original box to take with us. It is so compact that it does not take up much room in the car. Overall it is a fantastic piece of baby caring equipment! I do have a couple of suggestions, however. 1) I echo the "need a bigger one" suggestion. It saddens me to think about the day our baby outgrows it. 2) Make a control to use the sound without the motion. Thank you for making the mamaRoo. We went through two other swings before we found this beauty.

Absolutely love this!!! It has been worth every cent. Second baby and I would recommend it for every mom. Used it right from birth...soothing for baby and gives mom a break:) Easy to assemble and use!

I bought the mommaroo for my first child a couple years ago. She suffered from Colic, acid reflux and RSV at the same time so this was a life saver. I now have a 6 month old son and he just can't stand it. When he was first brought home it was ok, but by the time he was 2 months old he wasn't having it. He prefers the back and forth motion over the side to side and the only way to recline it to a full sleep position was to disconnect the safety seat belt harness thing and I just didn't like that. We are now getting rid of our mommaroo since he just plain won't use it at all. The only thing he did like about it was the ocean waves sound, but I found an itunes song for my iphone and just play that for him in his regular baby swing. I also wish the new seat covers would fit properly on the older model mommaroo's. The new ones have different snaps on the top and bottom that don't work with my model. I also agree that I wish it would support more than 25 pounds as my 6 month old is already 20lbs. I hope others find this helpful.

Baby didn't like it much for the first couple of months because the movement would startle him, then he would cry. Now that he is 5 months old, he loves to sit in it and watch tv. Only now he is almost to the weight limit!! Wish they made them for bigger babies!!

I have a 4 month old and she has outgrown the mamaRoo, but having it for the first 3 months was totally worth the cost. She slept in it better than anything else and slept in it exclusively from 6 weeks to 3 months. It saved us when nothing else worked. She also transitioned out of it into her crib very easily because we could keep the noise on but not the motion first then moved her from it but left the noise on. It was fantastic! I only wish it had a remote control because the controls were sometimes challenging to use when holding her.

I have a seven week old daughter that loves the Mamaroo! she has something called GERD its a severe reflux desease and the mamaroo is the only thing that helps! I have called customer support because my base was acting up and I can say it is honestly the best company i have ever called...Amazing! They sent out a new base and got it in 4 days to Canada! what more could a person ask for! You should be proud of your company! I know I will be continuing to look for more 4moms products to buy:) Thank you

Why we love it... When mama needs a break we put peanut in the "spaceship" as its called in our house and its off to dreamland everytime.

Our new little one loves the MamaRoo! In fact so much so we had to buy another for upstairs. We had the MamaRoo downstairs and a traditional type of baby bouncer upstairs. The bouncer kept her appeased for 10 minutes and with the MamaRoo, she got upset when we took her out! When comparing it to a swing, the footprint is so much smaller than your traditional swing, and yet it does so much more! This is a must have!!!

The Momaroo was a gift for my God Daughter for her 3 week old baby. Here is her quote: "You have seriously changed my life. I was able to make my lunch and eat it today."

My 7 week old baby loves the mamaroo and so do I!! She naps on it without having to be swaddled. I like that you can change the recline on the seat. I really like that there are several different movement settings and speeds. It would be cool if you could put them in a sort of "playlist" and it would change setting on its own. The cord isn't very long so you do have to find a place near a wall for it. It's a great product!!!

Heard about this item on "The Doctors" show. Looked amazing. I purchased the first one for our great grandchild. Now I need to get another one because we just found out that great grandchild number 2 will arrive this year too. Sure glad I saw this-looks like a winner for both parents and children.

I received the mommaroo for my baby shower and it was the talk of the shower! Besides its cool design it really works! My baby girl loves it! I recently bought one for my sister-in-law and cousin! Since I live in the city I do not have a lot of space; the mommaroo replaces the need for a bulky swing!

I purchased the mamaRoo for my 6 week old niece that I keep 2 or 3 days each week. She is a preemie and I was worried the movement of the swing may startle her, but she loves the swing. I do wish the swing had more head support for small infants, but other than that, it is the best!!! I am also going to use this for my first grandchild due in September 2013!!!!

We have a colicky baby who also has reflux. We have tried everything, and we gave in and bought this after seeing it on the Dr.s show. Our baby sleeps and it's so nice that you can adjust the angle. The only down part, is that the mobile doesn't move. You have to move it yourself. She loves to look at it!

I love the mamaroo. My older daughter used it and I still use it with my new daughter. My original mamaroo stopped working and I never new why. So I purchased a new base and it worked great but it now makes a loud squeek noise. Pretty annoying. However my daughter still loves it. The joise goes away after an hoyr of running the mamaroo. Maybe irs just cold? I know if I were to contact the 4moms they would prob send a new base. Totally worth buying peoole

My son loves the Mamaroo...he sleeps in it all the time. I just wish the weight limit is higher than 25 lbs. my son will be growing out of that chair soon before he even hits 6 months! what am I going to do without the MAMAROO???

I love my mamaroo. My baby was just in the hospital for rsv and the doc said she would have to sleep upright. They told me she could sleep in her carseat but I didn't think it would be comfortable. I went home and got my mamaroo and brought it back up to the hospital. All the nurses and drs would come in the room just to see it. Her nurses ended up telling me that the upright position would help with her breathing and that the motion of the swing would help break up all the gunk in her lungs. Needless to say it was a lifesaver. I will never be getting rid of my mamaroo. It's an amazing product and my baby girl loves it.
