We were very lucky and fortunate to get this swing. There is one downfall which would be the cord. I think the cord should be much longer. Other than that, great work. Thanks for coming up with this...now to make the bed move like parents ;)

I received the 4moms Mamaroo as a present at my baby shower, I was skeptical at first because of the price, but after having my son and learning about colic babies, which he was extraordinary colicky, this product was a life saver and in my opinion a must have for all mothers, first time or experienced!!!!

My grandson suffers from colic. He absolutely hated a regular back and forth swing and screamed whenever in one. Out of desperation my daughter and her husband decided to try swing. It is a life saver! Worked so well we bought one for our home and his other grandparents bought one as well!

The product is good but the app I so saturated with sale and marketing that it is virtually impossible to don the real functions of the app. Please clean this up so it can be a target app that supplements the otherwise great product.

We just bought this tonight and our baby loves it already! The only thing we wish was different is the mobile. We would for it to have the option to spin on its own. Overall.. The best baby purchase yet!

Me and daddy love this for our baby! She is 3 months old and has been using it since she was 3 weeks old. She can seriously be on it all day if she could. She's so calm there , she's even slept there a couple of times when she doesn't want to be on her crib. & the fact that is comes with an app! Just love it

It's 2016 am I missing something or does this product only work with iPhones?

My son and I love our mamaroo but hate that the nothing spins or lights up above his head.

I've had for about a 3months. It has a steady shake when it does any of the movements. My wife told me not to buy wish I had listened. The motor whines like its stressed with a 3 month old in it. It's loud enough that makes u question how a child is supposed to sleep in it. Probably my worst parenting mistake was buying this. I don't write reviews but this one was such a bad buy I wanted to save some others.

My baby is now 3 weeks old but she absolutely hates the swing/ I thought that maybe because she is a newborn and she needs to get used to it, but she screams every time. It was just an expensive swing, that won't be used. Reading the reviews I thought for sure that she would love it, but she cries everytime.

We bought a maaRoo in June 2015, for our first child. We had read great reviews, so we decided to put our money into this expensive product. Unfortunately this product did not work for our child. She would stop crying for about 30 seconds and then wanted out of it. We tried it after we arrived from the hospital and again every month. She is now 9 months and this product still does not work. It looks really cool, but that's about it. I would not recommend this to anyone. P.S. My brother in Atlanta bought one for his first born, which was a boy and it didn't work either.

I saw the Mammaroo on line months before baby came and knew I wanted one but wasn't sure about paying the price. Didn't show it to my husband who loves the modern look for the same reason. We went to finish buying for our little one and he saw it and fell in love too... We budgeted VERY carefully to be able to purchase this as our 'swing'. Baby LOVES it! Mommy and daddy do too! Not only is the smaller foot print it has perfect for our home, I love that you can connect it to your phone- baby gets grumpy... Just change the speed/setting or turn on a sound. Our little one loves classic rock, amazingly it lulls her to sleep :). We love being able to hook our phone or iPad up to the Mammaroo to play music (when the rare time we aren't playing it for the whole house comes around). So glad we made the decision to budget and splurge on this 'space ship'.

This has saved my life when it comes to keeping my newborn occupied with 2 year old twins running around! It's easy to move from room to room and I'll e that I can operate with my phone!

I love the mamaroo, it is great to get my little girl relaxed. It is just missing one thing; the mobile does turn on its own. This is something she loves to watch and I have to sit there and twirl it. It is such a high tech piece of equipment you would think it would turn on its own.

I bought this as soon as I saw it. I know how much movement soothes babies & felt it a valuable tool in helping my little one feel comfortable. Pros: It is easy to set up & the app works reliably with my iPhone. I love the colours & all the material parts detach easily for cleaning. On all but the highest speed settings it is actually quite quiet. The ability for the seat to recline is a nice touch & the speakers aren't so loud that they will deafen yourself or your baby, they are also not loud enough to drown out the sounds of its cries so they are quite safe. I haven't used it yet with a baby as my son is not born yet but I can see its value already & I have heard excellent things from friends & family that have used it. Cons: Would be cool if you could play music over Bluetooth as well. Also I paid extra for the Plush & for the price I think it should come with the newborn insert.

I really love this product the only reason why I give 4 stores instead of 5 is because of the mobile (the circles that hang over) it isn't durable as I would wish for the price simply because after a week i purchased mine, it started dropping super low and i bought another one a week after cuz my daughters use them and that one did the same thing... the only way it will stay up properly if i turn it left or right where it becomes more tight. but i still love it just wish they fixed that problem made it a bit more durable.

I got it as a baby shower gift. My son used it not even a month and it stopped working. The screen will just flash. You would think a product that is so expensive would work. Don't waste your money on it. Not worth it all.

He falls right to sleep for at least a couple of hours giving me a break. Only problem I have is changing the swing setting manually I can only change it through my phone, also there is some vibrating when going down which may be something wrong with the motor. I've only had it for two weeks

We received this seat as a gift. The salesman who sold it to our friend said, "The only one who won't like this seat is the mom; because with this seat, she had time to cook and clean." This was a life saver when our son was newborn. However, after about 4 months, it started softly lurching. One day it wouldn't turn on. We contacted 4moms and they were so helpful. We only had to send a picture of the base marked for discard, and they are replacing the base and power cord.

Got this for my son who is almost 2weeks old. He absolutely loves it. It's quiet, it's Smoothe, the app I just downloaded and used and found that exciting as well. I am very glad I got it and was worth the spend for me!

My daughter loved her first mamaroo but for some reason it kept stopping it was annoying. Since we bought the mamaroo months before she was born we lost the reciept, so we bought a new one. So far it's great my daughter really enjoys it.

The MamaRoo is amazing. My daughter won't sit in anything else. My daughter will laugh, talk, and smile the whole time she is in her MamaRoo. The settings are perfect and Bluetooth is def a plus. Great investment especially if you plan on having more children.

we bought the mamaroo a month ago and had to return the first one within a few days due to malfunction and now our second one is malfunctioning as well. great product if it worked as intended, wish we had more than a few days of luck with it. will most likely return this one and use the money for something else. unfortunate.

Let me start by saying I love the MamaRoo! It has seriously helped me so many times to calm my baby; however, the app needs some work. Constantly it won't link to my MamaRoo, even if I'm in the same room. It says it cannot be found. So 7 times out of 10, I have to manually change something, which usually wakes my son up. When the app is working, it's a beautiful thing!

I'm very happy with the MamaRoo but it would be way better if the toys on top spun by themselves! My son gets bored after about 20 min of looking at them. also having issues connecting the Bluetooth.

My son wouldn't let me put him down for a minute. But he loves the mommaRoo! It completely saved our lives and didn't let my husband and I go crazy. There are some things I wish that the mommaroo would have. The Bluetooth doesn't work most of the time. I will stand right next to it and it wouldn't pair. I wish there was an option to set a timer. And that when you are using the bluetooth, more than one phone can pair with the mommaroo.

We use our mamaROO on a daily basis and our daughter seems to like it. The only downside is the mobile is manual. To me, if a product costs this much it wouldn't take much more to add a simple motor that automatically rotates the mobile. After all, the mamaROO has Bluetooth capabilities which costs more than a simple motor. I'm sure the profit margin is high enough on these to add this feature. I would recommend this product at the end of the day.

I had a c section so normal movements are kind of hard . I love the fact that I can control movements with my phone. My daughter who is four days old seems to enjoy the different movements and melodies. I also love that I can play music for her . Awesome product â¤ï¸

My baby sleeps so well in it!! We carry it everywhere with us!!!

My baby is a month old and that's about how long she's been using it. I love to use it for nap time. But after about a month it started making a terrible screeching sound that wakes her up when I turn it on. As much as I paid for this product I'm very disappointed in this inconvenience.

Works great but I can't connect with my phone after 2 weeks. I worked on Bluetooth until now and all my other Bluetooth devices still work. Frustrating in the middle of the night but the main functionalities of the machine are awesome so whatever I'll get down on the ground and look for the very hard to see black buttons to change the settings manually.

The pros: I unpacked our new mamaRoo and put everything together. The instructions were simple and helpful making assembly easy. Operating the mamaRoo is pretty basic and simple to figure out. The multi-motion action of the device works well, and the variable speed is great. The cons: Some of the advertised features, while great for marketing, fall a little short of expectations for something in this price range. The built in/pre-recorded sounds are distorted at best, and the speakers are very poor quality/cheap distorting at moderate volume when trying to overcome the sound of the motors. I wasn't expecting Bose quality sound from the mamaRoo, but I did expect a little more. The Bluetooth is rather limited to which devices its compatible with. Even though Android based smart phones make up almost 60% (58.8% to be exact) of the market, this device is only compatible with Samsung. Bluetooth is a standard that's that is regulated by SIG and I have never had an issue connecting to anything other than the mamaRoo. Very disappointed with this feature especially because it only comes with a six inch audio cable to connect a music device. The power cord could be a couple of feet longer to help keep the device from being to close to walls and furniture. Things to think about for the next model would be a vibration feature and a more realistic rocker.

I love this product and so does our son! He uses it daily and he just smiles and is such a happy boy in it! He loves the car ride setting on speed 5 the most, as well as the colorful ball mobile and even sometimes giggles when we go up and spin it, my only complaint is that the mobile does not spin automatically and that you have to do it manually, the baby gets so excited when it spins but doing it manually is very inconvenient because typically when he does "roo time" as we call it, momma tried to get chores done. Momma loves the Bluetooth controls on her phone and how compact it is as we are currently limited on space in our rental house while we are in the process of building.

I love this! My daughter has colic and has been great for her to sleep in since it's constantly moving. The sound setting are nice also because it's two essential baby items in one. The only thing I can say that I don't like about it is the time setting. It will shut off automatically after so long. Which with a collic baby is no good. And another thing I would say could be different is the spin mobile at the top should spin with a setting not have to do it manually. But all in all I love this and couldn't see not having this product!

I git the 2015 model with Bluetooth, baby loves it

I received this as a gift from my mother for our first baby. We have only been using it 3 months and tonight it started making a super LOUD clicking and grinding noise. The clicking and grinding sounds are so LOUD that it startles my son. Now we can't even use it because the loud grinding and clicking sound is scaring him. Very expensive product for it to be broken within 3months. Feeling extremely upset because this was the only thing that calmed my son down at night and he enjoyed napping in it too. I was very happy with this product up until now. I pray customer service will help me tomorrow when I call.

We splurged for this and we are so glad we did! Our daughter who is now 6 weeks old falls asleep easily in it when she is sleepy!

Bought this today, was anxious to get home and try it out. Got home set up was simple. Put the little one in it. And with in 10 minutes he was sleeping soundly. This will allow my wife to be able to put the baby down and accomplish tasks she wants to complete.

I like everything about it but the noise. The motor is way too loud.

I love this swing. It has different settings, you can connect it to your phone to play music, and you can download the 4moms app to control it using your phone. Babies can sleep in it for a good amount of time.

After 4 months, my overall impressions are..... very positive. My first feeling(s) were maybe I splurged a little too much, that it was unnecessary as this was my third baby. I gave away my older style batterie operated original swing to my sister in law knowing I wanted to eventually get a new one. My first 2 babies really liked the older type swing. But the mamaRoo was my ideal purchase. I was a little weary as some of the reviews were negative and I read some of the babies like the other style back and forth motion better and that this mamaRoo was an other over-priced "gadget". Also, the back and forth motion did work with my first 2 babies, would this work as well? But after getting it and using it for 4 months I like it. I liked: 1. You can plug it in, no batteries. It's awesome not to have to replace batteries. 2. It's is compact, it takes up little room compared to the other swings. 3. The side to side motion is great, my baby likes it. Yaaaaah!! 4. It's stylish and a conversation piece when guests come over. 5. You can operate it with your iPhone. Very, very cool. 6. You can zip out and wash the material. That is a must for me. 7. My husband says it was very easy to assemble and disassemble when we needed to move it. Hey likes it too. I wish: 1. I really wished it included the option to swing back and forth as well as side to side. I kinda missed the traditional swing motion. For the price you pay, there should be a way to get both motions in one swing. 2. It was pricey and I paid extra for the newborn insert which I bought, but really it was not that necessary 3. The mobile was flimsy. My 2 year old manhandled it way too easily, it didn't break but it's stretched out of place very easily. This would not be an issue if this is your first baby. 4. I found the base (the area the swing moves from) to easily collect dirt and small toys like lego got caught in there easily. Again, only an issue to be aware of but a reality with other small children around. So be careful as the machine is a little "delicate". Maybe a cover to prevent dirt and dust and legos jamming it up.? I am not sure, its just an observation. In sum, if you have the economic means its a good purchase. Give it a chance and the baby will get used to the motion. You need to give it more than a month or two to see if you like it cause it's different. We were sceptical at first but grew to really like it.

We love the Mamaroo concept, however, for the price and for being "the best swing on the market," there are a couple of obvious misses in the product's design. While it is sleek, and definitely soothes our little one, my husband & I can't wrap our mind's around the sound feature on this thing. The "soothing sounds" are just terrible. They are more irritating than anything, and with as innovative as this swing is, and as much research as it seems the creator's put into the motion settings, it seems like they thew together the sound options and they all come through as I would expect them to on an extremely cheap noise machine. The other complaint is the mobile- again, for the price...could we not make it motorized? Finally, it doesn't travel well. Baby is hooked and we can't take it anywhere. Again, love it overall, but just can't understand why these areas were overlooked.

This is one of the only furniture items our baby will stay asleep in. Having speakers and ability to plug in music in the bonus but I have to say the speakers are a little tinny sounding. It would also be great to have the ability to download updates for additional motion settings.

I want to thank the people that made this seat. My son loves it, right now it is the only place he will sleep!

My husband and I love the mamaroo. When we first brought our baby home from the hospital he refused to sleep in the crib or bassinet. The only thing he would sleep in is the mamaroo. It has been a lifesaver. We like that it has different sounds to help baby sleep, even if the sounds aren't the best, it doesn't matter to him. You can also adjust the speed of the movements and adjust the angle in which baby sits. This came in handy when baby had a cold and needed to be more upright. It was definitely the best purchase we made.
