I had a premature NICU baby and the NICU had several of these. My sweet girl fell in love with it! I already had a swing at home and she liked it ok but she loved the mamaroo so I went ahead and spent the money on one and I'm so happy I did. She's so comforted by the sounds and I love that I can adjust the sound, volume, motion and speed all from the app! I can even play my own music for her!! My aunt and grandma now have 1 at their house too for her! Haha we love mamaroos!!

The sound effects could be better & the product does not always connect to the app which gets to be quite frustrating. The mobile could be designed better as well... it hangs too low in the child's face.

It's cool to control it with your phone but wouldn't it make since that you could play music through Bluetooth instead of aux but other that it's okay product to be make in china a little pricey 3 stars

This was a gift at my baby shower. I love the MamaRoo for my 3 week old! She wasn't the biggest fan of it at first but she loves it now!! One thing I definitely wish was a feature would be music controlled via Bluetooth, instead of the aux cord...since everything else is controlled that way.

Just got this as a gift from my mom. My daughter is a preemie, and loves being held, loves moving allllll the time. Conventional swings didn't do the trick. The mommaroo moves how I move, similar to how she felt movement in the womb! She loves it! She's a much happier camper, which makes me a happier camper!

I received this as a gift when my daughter was born in November 2015, she loved it, but suddenly after a few months it stopped working - the swing keeps shutting down and saying obstruction. Dissapointing

I receive so this as a gift with my first child in 2014 and now with my second son who is a premie, the swing keeps shutting down and saying obstruction even though there isn't one. We've tried unplugging it and changing outlets but nothing seem so to fix it. I'm so disappointed as this swing wasn't cheap and had hardly any use.

I was so excited for my mamaroo! With all he hype I felt like I had to get one. I love the swing. I love how small it is as well as being able to control it from my phone. The only thing I truly hate it the angling. I had a preemie and with the infant insert his head was never comfortable and I worried if he could breathe so I have to constantly adjust him.

For as expensive as this swing is the quality is poor. My wife's phone has never been able to connect to it and mine rarely will connect to it. It always says try again. Only way to get it to work is to pair it all over again.

Received as a gift and has been more help than we could imagine. Basically gives us an extra body to care for our newborn. He loves the sounds and motions and sleeps as if mom or dad is holding him ourselves. Buys us much needed valuable time in between feedings and changes and provides us with huge relief

This is by far the best thing I could have spent on my baby. It's a lot of money yes but it is totally worth it. She falls asleep in it every night with no problem and I wish I had gotten one with my son.

My son was born at 28wks and they used this at the hospital where he was at so when he came home after 5 months I just had to buy it for him he absolutely loves it and so do I. Thanks It's a life saver literally. It accommodates all his tubes and everything and we both love it so much. I also bought the bathtub to go with it and I love it also

My wife had a cesarean, the baby was fussy and we were exhausted.after 2 days at home we decided to try the mamaroo and the baby loved it. She absolutely settled down after being feed and she goes sweetly to sleep to her next bottle! Thank you 4moms

Hard to buy gifts for newborns at Christmas when you're limited on options but this was perfect for us and our 3 week old! I love it and it's the easiest contraption out there. Hard to explain how special these products are.

Recently purchased the Mamaroo baby is settled in to it fine however not sure how long they can stay in the Mamaroo for is it similar to a car seat?

Doesn't have much effect on our baby girl, yes it swings, has music, but it's one of those things that you really don't need and most of the time she'd rather be on a play pad on the floor than in this swing chair!

I had high hopes for the mamaroo but for the price I am thoroughly unimpressed. First, there is more shaking from the motor than should be expected from a product this expensive. Second, for the amount of money, the fact that the mobile is not motorized is absolutely ridiculous.

We bought this for our first daughter almost two years ago. Our second kiddo is in it now at 4 weeks and loves it!

Wish I had this back in 2009! Its so cool! So high tech! Only thing I dont like is the mobile hangs WAY to low and the sound for the mamaroo noices are staticky but paired with the aux cord music comes out clear. Love the Bluetooth phone feature. Hope the kid likes it.

Was an expensive gift from family for my second son about two years ago. We absolutely loved it. I had my third son and was excited to get some great use out of this again! For some reason now the movements are very jerky (not soothing at all) and it creaks rather loudly on top of that. I am highly disappointed I couldn't get use out of this for more than one baby.

This was bought for my son alittle over a month ago and he absolutely loves it! especially the highest speed on the car ride setting, other swing devices he would fuss and get tired of sitting in but not this! it's wonderful! alittle pricey, but definitely 100% worth it!

I once was in my oldest child Ella Grace's nursery. I was folding laundry when I sat down in the mamaRoo, somehow it turned on. This put me into the best sleep I have had since I was in the womb.If you don't buy this for your child buy it for yourself. #treatyoself

This is the greatest most wanted item that we recieved at our shower. We have used it a ton but now 5 mths later baby isnt even close to the weight limit and this thing spasms like crazy and makes loud obnoxious noises like its about to break down any day now. Hope we didnt get a bad one :(

First off I've never given a review for any product I've ever bought, but I feel almost obligated to do so because the mammaRoo is so AWESOME!! My son wasn't even 48 hours old and this was the only thing that could calm him besides his mom doing full on yoga baby moves. We highly recommend this to any parent or guardian. #4moms4life

Bluetooth rarely works! I bought this pricey item for this feature and it's unreliable.

We bought this yesterday and so far our 3 week old daughter adores it! She seemed very unsettled by traditional swings when we tried them at the store...it's simply not how I move when I soothe her so it wasn't familiar or comforting. The only things I would do to improve the next model of this swing is a front to back option for movement, better sound quality, and better Bluetooth. Having two separate swings by the same company one only moving front to back and one only moving side to side seems silly. As for the soothing sounds, the speakers aren't near baby for one, it's on the base. And it's all very scratchy and sounds like a radio going out of its broadcast range. There is no reason for this considering the technology we have these days...speakers have come a long way since the early 1900's people...put better ones in your product! It would also be nice if the Bluetooth range was farther, I can't even go to the bathroom and still control from the app. the aux port is a nice feature that a lot of swings come with these days, however you already have Bluetooth so why not make it a Bluetooth connection instead or aswell? iPhone 7's don't even have aux ports anymore and I don't know anyone with an iPod, we just use phones...and who wants to leave there phone with baby by the swing? You don't put baby in a swing to sit and stare at them you do it to be able to get other things done lol! Often times I need my phone when she naps. Overall I would absolutely buy it again and would highly recommend it!! Just throwing out possible upgrades for the next model!

My son spent his short life in the hospital from the day he was born this past December. He had a heart condition called HLHS which was so severe that he required a heart transplant. It was very hard to find a way to keep him comfortable throughout all of the IV lines running in and out of him along with his breathing tubes. The MamaRoo was the only thing that kept my precious baby comfortable for those 3 months. If it can do wonders for my heart sick baby, it can do wonders for anyone. I especially loved that it connected to my phone through an app. When I wasn't cuddling and holding him, I was sitting right infant of him controlling the soothing sounds and pattern of speed. He is now my Heart Angel and I can at least have it for our new baby due in May 17'. I also love how we can buy different inserts as well.

I really cannot say enough great things about this swing! Anyone with a baby knows that MOVEMENT. IS. KEY! And there is no better product out there than the Mamaroo! From the moment we brought our lil' babe home from the hospital both her and this mama fell in love! Our baby has always been partial to the car ride setting... She'd sit and sleep in there all day if I'd let her! The directions are easy to understand and assembly is a breeze! It took my husband no more than a few minutes to piece together! The app is amazing! I can change her music, setting, and speed all from my phone. I find it particularly useful when she falls asleep, and I don't want to disturb her. All the 4moms products are so well designed, and I love that it has a clean, fun look! I recommend this to all my fellow mama friends!

My 2 month old really loves his mommaroo. He stares at the three balls hanging above his head intently, and kicks his legs to get them to move. I just wish those balls moved on their own. everyone who see him in it asks if the hanging thing acts as a spinning mobile, but it doesn't. The app is pretty cool- you can control the mommaroo from your phone. A recommendation for future designs would be Bluetooth abilities to play music from your phone wirelessly through the mommaroo. That would be awesome.

This is an fantastic, non-traditional "swing" which gently sways your precious bundle in a selection of different movements and speeds. It is also wonderful because it is easy to take baby in and out, sleeping or not. And it looks stylish and sleek without that overdone contraption look. LOVE THIS SWING!

My daughter absolutely loves the mamaroo. The second I turn it on she is content especially with the rain sound. All of a sudden we heard a clicking sound and it began to run rough. So we just stopped using it and began shopping for a regular swing, we received this item as a gift and did not want to have to purchase another for it to just do the same thing. I decided it was on the way to the trash anyways so I took it apart to find that one of the springs welding had failed and the spring was dangling causing the moving portion to run over it and that's what was causing the rough run. I had to put a screw in place of where the weld came off and now it runs pretty decent again. My daughter is pleased to have her mamaroo motion back we are just crossing our fingers that my quick fix last. Like I said before it's an amazing product and definitely soothes my daughter instantly and I would still recommend this item it's just unfortunate my daughter had a gap in the use and that I had to take the time to take apart and fix the issue to resume use. Good thing I'm a handy mama :).

My boyfriend and I bought the momma roo for our 9 week old who has just begun getting very fussy. After putting it together (which was alot easier than expected) and putting him in it he instantly calmed down. I will add that that's not always that easy, but if we switch up the setting to a different movement typically he will calm down. It's just a matter of finding the right motion at the time. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the volume and auxiliary hook up is not as good as expected. My phone by itself is louder than the volume on the swing but it is not any big deal at all. All in all it was a great buy.

The product it's okay, They can improve on some things. I wish the Mobil would move, the music selection is not good they should of included lullabies songs. The swing should be a little higher especially when mother just had a c-section and hurts to be bending down as you put the baby on the swing.

I bought the mamaroo about a month ago, when it properly functions I love it and so does my daughter, it instantly soothes her. However, recently it has been malfunctioning and not turning on when I want to use it, the screen flashes and the mamaroo immediately shuts off. There is nothing in the way, after a few more try's it decides to work in its own. Also the timer, is inconvenient and there is not an option to keep the mamaroo going, at least through the night, once it shuts off my baby wakes up. Furthermore the app logs me out every time I'm not using it, when I try to quickly restart the mamaroo, this becomes a hassle because I have to login again. Other than these few complaints the mamaroo does the job I hoped it would, but there is always room for improvements, especially when it comes to my baby's comfort and sleep.

I do love the mamaroo however.. I truly wish the seat also vibrated. I ended up having to buy another brand swing because my baby sleeps for hours with that simple feature! Hopefully it's added because I truly love the look and design of the mamaroo!

Love being able to put my lil man in the swing and him rock to sleep or just rock around while I take care of few things around the house. Wonderful baby shower gift!

We used the mama roo for our first baby and she loved it. We were able to make and eat dinner while she was rocked and soothed. It stopped working at one point and I can't say enough about the 4moms customer service (Jennifer). They responded so quickly and were incredibly helpful. We were able to replace our unit and now are back up and running for the next baby!!

Bought this swing and have loved it! Pretty pricey, but worth it!

I was gifted this MamaRoo for my son who is 10 days old and I am not impressed at all. I was very interested in the 5 different motions that it offered but after having used the product I can honestly say I don't see much difference in the 5. I also don't like the fact that our MamaRoo makes a clicking sound every time it changes directions and it has a slight giddy up in its step so to speak. It tilts forward every time it changes direction as well. It is also much louder than I was expecting. Another part I don't like is the way the mobile connects. It doesn't actually connect but rather it just sits in place and ours keeps falling out which is annoying. The last downfall for me is the fact that our MamaRoo won't connect to Bluetooth on any of our devices. I am very glad that we have a Graco Duet swing and bouncer that we will be able to Use instead of our MamaRoo as I cannot justify paying to replace it. This is a very disappointing product all around as far as I am concerned.

I received the mamaroo as a baby shower gift and was so excited. Overall it has been a great product. Baby loves it. However. About 3 weeks into use it started making this god awful squeaking noise. Apparently a common problem with a not so easy fix. That is my only complaint. Wish that for the price of the product this problem would not be occurring.

I bought this a month ago for my 3 month old son. I loves it! The mobile does not spin but he is very entertained by the colors and patterns. The ability to flip them keeps him enthused. He loves it awake and he will fall asleep in there. I would love to get more 4moms products!

On our first baby we purchased a mamaRoo and our baby slept exceptionally well during his first 1-2 months, thanks to the mamaRoo! We actually sold our last one for about the same price we paid for it. We used the money towards purchasing a new one for our unborn baby girl, joining our family soon. Also, don't forget to purchase the newborn insert, it helped our baby feel nice and snug like he did while in the womb. The first few months after birth can be stressful at times, but I promise, this product will help carry the load. It's a MUST HAVE and a LIFE SAVER!

This modern take on the old swing is a godsend! Our home is rather small and we just didn't have the room for the larger footprint that traditional swings granted us. While it did take our son some time to adjust to the motions - we didn't even turn the movement on for his first month or so - he did grow to like them, although he mostly just liked to sit in his seat to hang out. I'd say we used the motions 40% of the time - the rest of the time, he lounged. The seat became Sam's ''recliner'' if you will - a place to hang out and play with toys, watch some BabyTV, or just zone out. We are sad now that he is too big for it, but enjoyed it while it lasted!

Thought this had a lot more to offer considering the price and the way they "talk it up", our baby has only tried it a few times and cried every time, Unfortantly she hates it so it was a waste of money, it doesn't do anything is why! Should have just stuck with our swing in which she loves!

We love everything about our Mamaroo and so does our baby. It's adjustable, and the newborn insert is perfect. It also takes up less room than a traditional swing, and is portable and lightweight making it easy to move from room to room. The only thing I would change is to add a separate auto stop timer for both the sound and movement or even for both simultaneously within the app.

I was expecting a lot more, given the price was so high. I love the way it looks, but that's about it. My son doesn't seem to like it either because it rarely puts him to sleep. We mainly use it to set him in to go make a new bottle. My complaints: 1. There is no battery powered option. You can only plug it in. So, there's a long cord going across the middle of the room. 2. You would think the mobile would spin on it's own by winding it up. Nope. It's just there. My son will hit it every great once in a while, but usually on accident. 3. For a "smooth" ride, it has to be on the third level of speed or it jars him. Like he's riding over a rumble strip. 4. If it somehow gets unplugged or the power goes out, when you start it back up, it "jolts" up as it starts going then will go to the correct speed setting. Almost throws him out of the thing. 5. The price. It's a bit ridiculous. Good thing the in-laws bought it for us ;). What I liked: 1. The look of it. But that only goes so far. A nice design. 2. Easy assembly. 3. The heart beat sound setting. Overall, I didn't like this product.

I really like it but my son hates it and the ball bar broke

The baby loves the mamaroo, often times it's the only place he will sleep for an extended amount of time. I purchased the mamaroo shortly before he was born, 2 weeks after his birth- the base broke and popped super loud. Fast forward to present day and we've been through 4 bases total due to grinding and popping noises. And the 4th base has started popping now too. The baby is almost 5 months old now, so that's an average of a base per month. Customer service has been great with replacing the base and paying postage for us to send the faulty bases back. However, for the price you'd think you'd be buying something that will last awhile- maybe even last through multiple children. He is within the weight limits for the seat still, so it's not that I'm overworking the motor on the base. I really hope the engineering department fixes the problem and I'm aware that I'm not the only one with this issue.
