I bought this for my 3 yearold son to start head start. A backpack is not required but with him having a gbutton, I figured it was a perfect size to keep extra bandages and an extra button inside with some wipes and pullups. Its the perfect size for a child to start wearing a backpack. Love the straps in front to keep it on. Unfortunately due to covid, the school has already been shut down and we are not planning on sending him this year now. But we will be packing around this little fox to keep a few necessities in.
