We used Clek car seats and were really sold on staying with Clek for our booster upgrade, until I heard they were uncomfortable. That really stuck with us, and we started researching other options. We came down to the Nuna AACE and the UPPA Alta. We chose Nuna for a few reasons -- comfort, head support, quality, and the ability to convert it to a non-back booster when the time comes. The uppa option did not have the 2-in-1 feature and while it cost less, it meant having to buy a 3rd seat down the line which didn't make sense for our family. The Nuna installed easily, the quality is evident, the "grow with me" feature is awesome and my kiddo says it's comfortable. He does feel like the arm rests make it harder to buckle the seat, and he's pretty skinny so the fact that you have to grow it width wise when you raise it doesn't really help him. Only other "complaint" is that the cup holder is SMALL. It fits a standard kids water bottle (thermos funtainer) but does not fit wider bottles (like a yeti/hydro/etc), so we're trying to find an adapter.

We just converted our 2 boys over to the booster seats. We purchased 2 to try them out and the boys love them. I love that these booster seat are secured into the seat. My 5 year old has no problem buckling himself in and getting out when he needs to.

We transitioned from the Nuna Rava carseat to the booster. Easy to install, sturdy, comfortable, and looks great. The way the cupholder attaches to the seat is a little flimsy. Other than that, can't complain!

I bought two of this car seat already. I also own the Nuna convertible car seat which is heavier than this one. This nuna car seat is very easy to assemble. This is minimal design car seat and I love all the the colors. It’s also lighter than the other nuna car seats so removing this car seat and transfer from car to car is just as easy. I like how this is a 2 in 1 car seat and comes with a cup holder.

I enjoy Nuna baby products, including their stroller, baby/toddler car seat, and this booster car seat. My child can easily take a nap in this comfortable booster car seat. I feel it is pretty safe as well. Definitely recommended.

Love how compact this seat is but the bottom seat cover constantly gets pulled off. It is worse when used as a stand alone booster vs. high back booster.

My sons been using this for close to 2 years now and we love it. The latch feature is great and held strong in our recent accident. Install is great and my 10 year old says it’s very comfortable compared to his cheap booster in my other car.

We love all things Nuna, so it only made sense to upgrade our oldest to the next lineup of car seats in their product family. My oldest is 5, and she loves the independence of this car seat. She gets right in and buckles herself. And also unbuckles herself when it’s time to get out! It’s given my big girl so much confidence and it’s really great quality which is expected from this brand. We love it!

My son was so happy to be out of a five point harness! The seat is safe, well-built and we are very happy with it! My only two complaints are that the snaps often come undone on the bottom of the seat cover and I wish the cupholder was built-in instead of removable.

We bought this for my 42in tall 5 year old! We take long trips often and our old booster seat lacked the padding and comfort our AACE does! We bought a nuna baby seat when she was born and I should've known better and purchased the AACE the first time around when shopping for a booster. Love the reclining feature and that the width of the seat increases and the headrest setting gets higher.

I don't have much to compare this to. But after my son grew out of his Nuna Rava, I read and watched tons of online reviews and decided this would be a good next step. I really like it and my son does as well. I bought the black one. It looks great, very simple. It does not visually scream "kid seat," which I prefer. The way it latches into my car is so easy it's amazing compared to the Rava. It takes maybe 10 seconds to remove or install. It's on the large side. I wouldn't want to carry it around too much. But swapping into the other car is easy breezy. Most importantly it feels very solid, safe and well built. Small gripes: 1) the seatbelt pops out of the little internal hook and I have to rethread it. Not a big deal, but a little annoying. 2) When there is no one in the seat, it rattles over bumps and such. It's not loud and it's not bad, but the Rava never did that. But then again that seat took time and muscle to get it properly loaded up. I imagine most people wouldn't notice it. My wife doesn't. But being somewhat "sound sensitive," I have noticed. 3) The beverage holder only holds beverages, and only of the right size. His previous one he could put in hot wheels or whatever else he wanted. This was a disappointment to the little dude. The AACE is built like a tank, latches very easily and very solidly, my son is very comfortable in it, and it looks terrific.

I bought 2 of these Nuna AACE Boosters for my grand kids that grew out of their regular carseats. The kids love how cushioned and comfortable they are compared to their other booster seats. They are a little heavier than most but you can feel how much better they are made. These boosters are pricey but well worth it for the quality.

Nuna makes great products with great features that are easy to use. These booster seats are no exception. Everything adjusts to grow with your child. This booster seat is more expensive, but you get your money’s worth with the adjustability, comfort, and overall ease of use! The quality, engineering, and customer support make Nuna the best car seat manufacturer in my opinion.

Easy and secure install! We love our nuna rava seats, so going with another nuna was a no brainer for us. Material is great! I think it will be very easy to clean. Lots of extra features for a booster. And love that rigid latch to help ease my mind from a five point to booster transition. Albee baby shipping was very quick as it has always been in the past. The only reason this seat didn't get a 5 star was because the cup holders are very small. We use the kids size Hydro Flask and it won't fit.

When I started my search for a new booster seat I was important to me to find a company who values health and safety - the AACE is a safe, and easy to install booster while also being without toxic flame retardants. Over the next few years, my son will be spending a lot of time in this seat and so I definitely want to limit any exposure to toxic chemicals if I can help it.

I purchased this after buying a Nuna Pipa for my youngest, and what sold me was the ease of installation... There's NOTHING like it. A quick push and it locks into place, or a simple push off the buttons and it's out... No more breaking my fingers trying to teach into the latch. Three natural is really nice and wipes easily, and we loved that the seat depth is adjustable for kiddos with long legs. I'll forever be a Nuna fan after this!

This seat has fit our needs perfectly. It’s sturdy, comfortable and very adjustable! I have tried quite a few other seats, and hope we can use this one until the end!

Was fairly easy to put together. You have to lay the upright part flat on the ground then fold it into the bottom seat. Was a little tough to do and felt I was going to break the hooks, they didn’t want to click together easily. When the seat belt locks when my child unbuckles, it’s tough to get it back far enough into the seat belt return area to unlock it, the wing of the headrest gets in the way and I can’t easily get the belt around it, let alone my 6 year old trying to do it.

Love this new booster - very happy that it was possible to finally find a fire-retardant-free booster for my kid. It does not have its own seat belt system - have to use the car's seat belt, which can be cumbersome for mom to clip in and un-clip. Glad that it came with a cup holder, although they really saved on plastic there - would be better if it was fully cup-like and could double as little toy/mitten storage. These are minor compared to the health benefit of fewer chemicals.

I researched many boosters! I Love Britain and Maxi Cosi brand! We had the Britax infant then when needed to upgrade we needed a convertible car seat with light breathable fabric for our southeast Texas weather and Maxi Cosi pria max sand was just what we needed! Looked at Britax and Maxi Cosi for a booster seat but ultimately landed with Nuna! Love the attention to detail of this car seat and width which is why I didn’t go with Maxi Cosi because their booster seemed so slender and didn’t look comfortable! Britax fabrics are usually all so dark or girlie so didn’t choose one of them. This Nuna booster is made very well and easy to clean!

My son is a big 7 year old, he weighs 70lbs but he’s more of an athletic build with broad shoulders. He and I appreciate how the seat widens as you raise the headrest. He’s a lot more comfortable in this seat, I highly recommend it for larger children.

Bought 2 of these as an upgrade to our Graco Forever seats for our 4 and 6 year olds. Those seats were falling apart, especially the fabric. These are amazing! So nice, plush and stylish and my girls love being able to do their own seatbelt. The covers wash easily and we just love them. We have the Rava for our baby so we are so excited to have 3 nice Nuna seats in our car!!😍

My daughter was so excited to show her friends this “fancy” car seat. Haha. It’s really chic! But more importantly, it is extremely safe. My only complaint is the width of the seat. It’s hard for my daughter to buckle her belt because the base of this car seat is wider than the last one we had. Check measurements.

We chose the Nuna AACE for our twins because they requested a booster with the side pillows around the head, which they were used to in their convertible seats. We also like that these can convert to backless boosters. At the lowest headrest heights we do find the shoulder belt sometimes does not automatically go taught, so we are careful to pay attention to the positioning before driving away.

Easy to install. My son feels comfortable and safe when sitting on it. Also, it’s retardant free booster!!! Nice!!!

My 6-year-old son uses the AACE and it's the most comfortable booster he's tried. The belt fit is excellent- the lap portion sits across his upper thigh/lower hip area and nowhere near his abdomen (which is good), and the sholder portion seems to stay right between his neck and edge of his sholder, never rubbing against his neck or sliding off his sholder. In other boosters he's tried he would often be wiggling around to get comfortable, but he seems to sit properly and relaxed for the entire trip in the AACE. The rigid lower anchors are a dream and the recline feature just puts this booster over the top, he can sleep comfortably and supported on longer trips- can't recommend the AACE enough!!!

This is a great booster seat. It is plush and very comfortable for my 5 year old. I love that it has rigid latch to attach to our car and you can recline the booster for sleeping in the car.

After several research on the internet I arrived at this. It looks and feels so nice. I have a tall 2 year old and was looking for a perfect car seat that will grow with him and this is perfect. Safety wise I also feel like I got a lot of value for my money’s worth. It’s definitely a purchase you’ll never regret.

I am so happy I went with this booster. My daughter is just at 40lbs and I was really debating about what kind of booster to get her. I am so happy I went with the Aace. It’s super easy to install which is important for me because we fly a ton and are constantly on the go. The quality and the materials are great. This seat like all other Nuna products is very luxurious. The only thing I wish it had was a handle to carry it by and the cup holder isn’t the most secure but overall it’s a great seat.
