My husband and I love to travel, so once we had our daughter, I was excited to find her a suitcase and bag that she will be able to take with us on our future adventures. This suitcase and backpack are well crafted, beautiful, fun, and functional. Unfortunately with the pandemic we haven't been able to use the BedBox on a flight, but we had a fun time testing out all the features. The smooth swivel wheels and multipurpose strap made pulling, pushing, and carrying the suitcase a breeze. Of course my favorite feature of this suitcase is the sleep mode. We set up the BedBox sleep mode in front of our chair. My daughter usually hates lying down on her back, but to our surprise, she liked lying down on the mattress and she looked so relaxed and comfortable. The storage capacity of the suitcase was decent. We were able to fit the mattress, a large knitted doll, diapers, wipes, snacks, clothes, and accessories, with room to spare. The expandable travel backpack is beautifully designed with functionality in mind. It is lightweight and made of high quality fabric that is easy to clean. The padded shoulder straps and chest straps make it comfortable for my daughter to wear. The backpack has a large storage capacity and the expandability of it will allow my daughter to use it for years. We were able to fit a large can of puff snacks, a doll, a water cup, and some toys. I love that it comes with a seat pad that fits effortlessly inside. My daughter loves wearing her backpack to the park and people always comment on how cute it is. Less than 10 minutes inside the airport and we got stopped by a stranger complimenting us on our bed box and backpack! She just loved it!! This was not the only compliment we received on our trip. We love everything about this thing!! It is so very durable. Withstood our travel and our rough and tough toddler. We all loved the included sticker sheets! Of course my kids needed to put all the stickers on the bed box and I was fine with it, it customizes it and makes it super fun! I also love that they come off easily without any sticker residue! Bravo Stokke! We absolutely love the maneuverability of the wheels. They glide effortlessly across mostly smooth surfaces. The strap is also easily moved from one side to the other if you choose to carry it over your shoulder or pull your toddler along. The storage space inside is also surprisingly large. I like the "hidden compartment" in the lid of the bed box. We put snacks in there that we didn't want to get crushed during travel. The bed cushions themselves do take up quite a bit of room but we had plenty of room for water bottles, snacks, books and games for our flight. I tested making it into a bed a few times prior to our flight so I wouldn't be frustrated. Super easy to get the hang of it! My 4 year old loved riding on it through the airport. It fits perfectly underneath the airplane seat in front of you and pops right out when needed for the bed portion. Elevated my kids legs so they were super comfortable! The jet kids backpack is also wonderful! I love the long pockets inside for sticker books and coloring books. The ability to change the size of it is awesome. The side has a strap to hold a water bottle in place with an adorable name tag too! It is so chic and modern looking yet so functional. Because of Covid we haven't been able to travel by plane, but we did use this suitcase for our 3 year old when we drove down to Florida from Indiana. He loved having his very own suitcase. I love the modern and sleek look of the case. It was really nice that we could attach the strap and he was able to pull it around on his own. Another fun feature for him was that he could ride the suitcase and push himself around. He loves to do this in our living room as well! I can see how this would be beneficial in an airport to just have your kid sit on to rest. I love that the suitcase is a hard shell. No need to worry where it ends up in the luggage pile. We did remove the bedding from the inside in order to make room for his clothes. With the bedding in there, not much else will fit. The backpack that it comes with is really cute. It is not super practical for travel because the backpack doesn't hold much, but we were able to get a few snacks in there and a couple toys for him to carry around! I received this product to try from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, however, all opinions are my own. Overall, I think the suitcase is a really fun concept. I like that there are multiple different features to make the suitcase useful for travel. The backpack is a nice touch and handy for the kids to pack some of their favorite books, toys, etc. to keep them entertained during travel. We have not yet been able to try the suitcase on a plane, but we do have a trip planned this fall to go to Florida, and we cannot wait to use it. In the meantime we tested it locally, traveling to our family cottage. The suitcase fits a decent amount of clothing for a child (as long as you don't overpack like I tend to do sometimes). It's easy to pull and is a great carry-on size. My favorite feature is the bedbox. We did try to test it at home to see how it would work on the plane. It will be great for the kids to be able to lay down and stretch out a bit on the flight. In fact, my 6 & 3.5 year old daughters were fighting over who is going to be using it for our upcoming trip. Looks like we will be purchasing a second suitcase! My kids would say the ride-on component is their favorite feature. They love riding it all around the house like a toy, and ask to pretend to be pulled through an airport. It's the perfect size for them and it's easy to pull the suitcase, even with one of them on top. I would definitely recommend this suitcase to all of my friends who travel with young kids.

Stokke products have quality craftsmanship and their high chairs are one of my must have baby items that I always recommend for new moms. As a trusted brand, I was more than excited to test out Stokke's JetKids Travel backpack and suitcase. This backpack suitcase is no different. It's strong, sturdy and durable. All of which are a necessity when you're traveling around airports. The suitcase rolls smoothly and is decently easy to maneuver albeit a bit too short to pull on for my liking. Prior to COVID, my husband, daughter and I were near-monthly fliers traveling frequently on both short and long haul flights. I rarely brought my daughter's own suitcase as most suitcases simply created another object to carry while trying to navigate an airport with a toddler, and multiple pieces of luggage. The bed box solves that problem, creating both an easy place to store the necessary items for your child and a fun ride-along for them in the airport (i.e. no more waiting what feels like hours for the constantly distracted toddler to walk with me through the airport). My 3 year old's favorite features of this suitcase were the ability to decorate her own suitcase and the ride-on option. I actually had to hide the suitcase in our house when it's not in use so that she wouldn't constantly ask for a ride! It doesn't have brakes or any stopping mechanism, so going down ramps in an airport is tricky and is safest with the toddler walking alongside. The backpack is expandable and perfectly sized for any aged child as it can grow with them. It's stylish and durable, holding essential toys and other items for short or long haul flights. My favorite feature is the seat pad and ability to convert any seat into a toddler bed. The padding is soft and comfortable and will allow for naps on flights, or even just a more comfortable play area for mobile toddlers. My daughter was so excited to receive it especially when she opened it and saw the book sack in it that went with it and she was so excited that she could wheel it around with her and that we could wheel her around and then separate it to put things in or let it be a footstool or whatever she wanted it to be while traveling traveling. It was able to be her carry-on and was able to hold all the little things that she needed such as a pillow and blanket and a few books it's so easy to take apart to use each part separately and then just pops back. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I received the Stokke JetKids Bedbox and Crew Backpack. First, the bedbox. It wheels and swivels around very smoothly. It's pretty light for when an adult has to carry it, like when walking up and down stairs or going on an escalator at the airport. It also has a great dual purpose of a comfy seat on the plane and a carry-on luggage for kids; it has enough room for a few snacks, toys, and books for the airplane ride, in addition to the mattress stored inside. I love that I can wheel the children around when they get tired of scooting by themselves. We haven't had a chance to take it on a plane trip yet but my 5-year-old's absolutely most favorite game in the world right now is wheeling this around and pretending it's all sorts of things and even brings his baby sister along for the ride. That would definitely make travel a lot easier. It also looks really nice and is an easy material to keep clean. Then, the backpack. This has a nice design with a zipper on the bottom so they don't have to dig into the bag to find something. It is expandable, although it doesn't expand or collapse that smoothly. Maybe it needs an accordion-style (like a carry-on luggage) rather than the end of the zipper having to be pulled out and put back in, like on a jacket. The pilot stripes on the shoulder pads are a nice detail. There's also a padded mat included inside to use as a seat wherever adventure takes us, like on a snack break or a "can we go back now?" break during a hike. We can't wait to use this on an airplane, especially on a long-haul flight. My 5-year-old already loves the idea of having his own luggage and the little one loves having her own backpack like her older siblings. And I like that the kids can bring their own luggage and bed and it's fun for them to take around so they don't get tired of pushing their own luggage (or else like normal I end up dragging the entire family's luggage across the airport). A couple of years ago my family and I traveled to Japan. I was on the fence about purchasing one of these BedBoxes before we left, and I finally never did because we wouldn't have received it in time for our travels. Boy, I am kicking myself now. This BedBox is amazing! I'll never know how they came up with so many different features and uses for it. The way it fits into the leg/foot space on an aircraft is a stroke of genius. While we won't be traveling internationally for some time (thanks a lot, COVID...), we do plan on traveling domestically. You can bet your bottom dollar that we will be using this on all future airline travel! I think my favorite feature about this suitcase is the fact that it's multifunctional. My son is older now and wants so many things to bring with him. The backpack fits it all in and can be extended, which is amazing. Though we didn't immediately need the bedbox part of the suitcase, my son and I picked out his clothes for a recent trip to his aunt and uncle's house. This jetkids suitcase by Stokke is one of the most interesting ideas and products I have seen on the market yet. I live how simple it is to use it straight out of the box and it comes equipped with all the travel necessaties needed for it to function as a bed or a ride on suitcase for my tired kids. The in-flight bed or leg-rest feature is perfect for my toddler to use and provides much better comfort then being wedged on the uncomfortable coach airplane seats. It is very functional with plenty of storage and is very fun for my kiddo to ride on. He had a lot of fun sitting on it while his older brother pushes him or his dad. It's made well, sturdy, and from premium material. Feels and looks slick and provides the durability needed to be both a stable bed/leg rest or a suitcase. Can easily be used for traveling on airplane, train, or any long haul mode of transportation. I love that it came with a matching backpack. My 3.5 year old carries it everywhere and can't wait for our next adventure to take his backpack with the pilot design on the handles. All he needs now is a pilot hat! My favorite feature of this set is how comfortable my children will be when flying versus curling up in a ball on a tiny seat or placing their feet on us. While this suitcase is advertised for use on an airplane, we really enjoyed using it for our road trip. We had an eight hour trip to take and staying with family for a week. This suitcase fit all of my toddler's clothes, toiletries, shoes, extra diapers, and a baseball cap. The crew backpack was great for things we needed access to while driving, it was filled with some toy cars, his lovey, snacks, extra change of clothes, and tablet. It could even expand with more space if needed! The suit case fit so nicely in our car in front of our toddler and since he is taller he was able to rest his feet on the top of it. It left space for all our luggage in the trunk! At my parent's house my son tested out the bed box on their couch while he watched some tv. He seemed to really enjoy stretching his legs out because they only have a small three seat couch. My son also enjoyed getting to personalize his suitcase and bed box with the stickers it came with. The Jetkids bedbox and backpack are great for traveling with young children and they are super cute and thoughtfully designed which were big wins with my 3 year old! We haven't used it for air travel yet due to COVID but we can't wait to try it out when flying. My daughter has packed and re-packed the backpack multiple times (and keeps it packed actually!) for day trips and local travel. She loved decorating her suitcase and I love that it has a good amount of space within for use and allows me to pull her on it for a ride when needed (I KNOW this will help when traveling by air!). We recently started traveling again, and although the kids were all so excited to go somewhere, it had been a long while and we were nervous about how they'd do flying. As son as the box arrived, my kids begged for us to take it out and give them rides around our house. Let me tell you, it's extremely easy to pull, even with my five year old riding on top! Ok, so this might seem like something that you wouldn't need. But let me tell you something, it's genius. First of all, the kids LOVE pulling themselves around on it, so it makes it fun for them. The backpack that is included in it is GREAT! Roomy enough for the kids to pack a few things that they can get to right away. Quality is great too. The bedbox was a lifesaver too. Very simple and easy to set up and use, but really helped with travel for the kids. Made the trip more comfortable for sure. The only reason that I am giving it 4 stars and not 5 is that its adding more to the already large amount of luggage when packing. I guess when you have kids that's the name of the game. In non-pandemic times, our family tend to be regular long-haul travellers (multiple legs of plane travel over >24 hours) so I was very excited to receive the Bedbox and travel backpack to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. While we haven't used it in the outside world yet, my preschooler had a great time testing out all the features of the Bedbox at home. We set up the bed configuration in front of the sofa and he happily laid down on it and declared it "comfy cozy". We also thoroughly tested the riding feature. He scooted around on it on his own and then insisted that I pull him around our home; it handled surprisingly well around tight corners without tipping over! The storage capacity is not huge, especially when all the bed components are in there, but will be sufficient for a change of clothes plus some essentials to keep the kids entertained. The backpack that came as part of the bundle was really thoughtfully designed, with expandable capacity and cute airplane/airline details. It even attaches to the Bedbox! I think this got him excited about going on our next trip, and I'm looking forward to using it whenever we feel safe to resume travel.

As soon as I took the JetKids suitcase out of the box, my 3 year old started pulling it around our house and packing it full of all of his favorite toys. I was impressed with the design and I love that it comes with a backpack, which is cleverly designed with the pilot stripes and buckle that looks just like a plane seat buckle! I think the bedbox idea is genius and we're looking forward to using it on our next plane ride. It is easy to set up and a sturdy little footrest. My 3 year old's favorite part is rolling the suitcase around and I love that he can have some responsibility while also able to ride it safely. I think the only draw back is that there is not a ton of extra room in the suitcase when you have the padding for the bed in there, but on the other hand, its perfect sized for a child to pull, ride around, and still fit as a carry on. AND the backpack that comes with it is big enough and more convenient for a few toys, books, and snacks too, while a child can still carry it! Anything mom doesn't have to carry is a win for me!! But my very favorite feature is all the compartments to all the things you need for traveling organized. The backpack has a number of pockets, including a padded one that devices can fit in, little side pockets, a little clip inside, and an expandable section on the bottom. The suitcase even has a little compartment in the top part that comes off, where I stored a lovey, wipes, and a small muslin blanket! The Stokke Bedbox and backpack is such a fun way for kids to travel. The Bedbox is light weight yet durable with wheels that turn easily. We have not tried in on an airplane yet but flying recently without it makes me know we will love it for airplane travel with the kids in the future! The cushion will help to contain their toys and also provide extra space to stretch out and even nap. The ability for the kids to roll on the suitcase eliminates the need for a stroller in the airport as well which is a huge added bonus when traveling with kids and all their things. The backpack is so cute with all the perfect flight details from the seatbelt clip to the pilot shoulder pads. I love that it is water resistant and wipeable and my kids love that it is the perfect size for them. My only wish is that it had a larger outside pocket for a water bottle but that does fit inside well. I absolutely loved this purchase for my little one this year! I would 10000% reccomemd it! We used it on our trip to Ireland and it was so BEYOND helpful and I don't think I could have don't the flight without it because we had so many stops she would have been exhausted. While traveling I kept thinking of a few improvements to consider to make the experience that much better. First I would include a step break or a wheel lock. I would have loved to lock It in place for certain spots like ordering food, the elevators, or just sitting while waiting to board the flight it would be nice to limit my little ones freedom for moments like that. Second, I also would love a retractable clip for the lead. When I did have to put the lead down when at the ticket desks etc. I was worried about it getting dirty or my little one rolling over it which she did and I would love to zip it up or something like that externally when stowing it away if there was some way to retract the cord in so that it doesn't get dirty. Thirdly, I would love a leather or plastic handle attachment to be on the actual lead part for the toddler to hold & for me to hold so that it's more sturdy and holds it's shape better. I noticed as we walked around and she held onto the cord so she wouldn't fall it would bend in 1/2 because she was holding on. If it was leather then it could come off or stay on depending on preference furthering extending the travelbox's longevity for travel. And lastly, I would like to suggest changing the stickers that are included to a type of sticker that is removable, or pops off. Like felt stickers or something that could be changed out easily. We didn't want to use the sticker incase they got grubby looking and it wasn't our particular style. This suitcase is worth it's weight in gold. We had my son's first flight experience and the suitcase made it 100 times better. It kept him busy and he was so excited to ride it. It fit perfectly under every seat we put it under, even the small planes. He even rides it in the house. Amazing purchase!

It's super cute and useful to let the kid sleep on the plan. However, it's very hard for parents to drag it or carry on the shoulder. Wish it has a better design for the adults to use when the kid is not carrying it.

Our travel plans were delayed until after Christmas due to covid but we checked this out at home. We are excited to bring it on our trip to Florida in a couple weeks! The bedbox component is by far my favorite part. My kids always struggle with napping when we are traveling. This will be a huge help! My kids absolutely loved riding around on it! I'm not sure how practical this is going to be in the airport though. My two year old really needs to be buckled in and my 7 year old is a tad too heavy to be wheeled around on this suitcase. I do wish it was bigger so we could actually use it to carry necessary items with us. I received this from stellar reviews in exchange for my honest review.

My son and I really like this suitcase! It was a fun item to bring on our trip and I liked the design for packing books and toys for the airplane. It was a beautiful design that was easy to maneuver with the different strap configurations. My son preferred to drag it and would ride on it occasionally. He also loved to ride on it around our house for fun! We did not use the bedbox function because it made getting to the toys too challenging. The suitcase was not easy for my son (age 3) to open without my help which meant it was hard for him to play on his own but was also good because his toys didn't spill everywhere without me knowing! My favorite features of this suitcase were the ability to store toys in an organized manner and the different strap configurations depending on use/speed of travel (sometimes my husband would have to carry the bag over his shoulder if we needed to move more quickly). Thank you Stellar Product Panel for this wonderful, fun & unique product! The backpack is also a really fun design with multiple zippers/clips/compartments. My son calls it his "space back pack" and stores his favorite things (lovey & snacks) in there for mini-adventures to family member's houses.

I received this kids suitcase and sleeper from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I received the light blue/orange color and love that both my kids can use it and that it's a fun color without being too loud. My 4yo daughter uses it daily to ride on down our entryway hallway and throughout the house. I was concerned about it's stability but it is really secure and does not topple over easily. I would feel confident for her to ride on it at the airport. My flight plans were cancelled so I have not taken it on a flight, but it is great for our numerous road trips and even for securing more fragile items as it is extremely sturdy. You would still need an extra suitcase for their things as not much else fits in addition to the padding, but on road trips it fits plenty and even has a small compartment in the lid. I have not yet been able to use the bedbox but I assembled it and it was very easy to set up. It comes with a carrying/pull strap, 2 sheets of adorable stickers to personalize, and the cushion that goes on top of the seat. Overall I love the colors, the stability of riding on it, the ease of setting up, the hard/durable case, and the adorable expandable (matching) backpack! Can't wait to bring it on a flight.

Upon receiving this product and opening it my kids and I were blown away. The product is very stylish and made excellent! Our family travels a ton and with three little boys it's never the most comfortable and we always run out of space. Our first trip we took with Jetkids by Stokke was to a family cabin. We drove on this trip, but we packed the bedbox full of kid clothes and valuables. The bedbox is very hard and we didn't have to worry about anything getting damaged while it was packed in the vehicle with a lot of other suitcases. Even though we did not take a plane on this trip my son utilized the bedbox by propping up his feet and using the padding to be more comfortable. My 3 year old enjoyed riding on the bedbox and it was way easier to pull him than I anticipated. The wheels are made with great quality and it was very smooth. The safety features are my favorite, the straps are bright colors and adjustable. The kids all took turns riding on it. The pack back that accompanied the bedbox is compact and wonderful, the compartments are great and it is made with a high quality fabric that is very comfortable. Unfortunately due to covid flying restrictions our flight to the Bahamas was cancelled this fall. We know this product will be wonderful on a flight and Can't wait to use it! We give JetKids an A+ rating!

We LOVE the Jetkids By Stokke BedBox & Backpack. We were lucky enough to receive the BedBox & Backpack as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and the timing could not have been more perfect! We had a cross-country flight planned for Thanksgiving and that was our first opportunity to put the BedBox in action. Although, my two toddlers had many hours of fun and practice wheeling one another around the house prior to our travel date! We love the compact yet high-end look of the BedBox - the straps are sturdy and easy to clip on, the top is easy to remove, and our toddlers were able to roll the backpack around with ease. Of course, their favorite feature is the "ride on" aspect. Being able to have them sit on the BedBox in the busy airport was so nice - especially when we had a tight connection we had to rush to. In the past, I've used a blow up pillow to make a make-shift "bed" on long flights but this bedbox companion component is GENIUS! It was self-explanatory how to put it together and so comfy for my 2 and 3 year old. The only downside - I think we need TWO BedBoxes as my toddlers were fighting over who got to use the bed. The adorable accompanying backpack is the cherry on top - we received so many compliments - from flight crew and fellow parents alike on the design of the backpack. If you are looking for a great suitcase, bed, backpack, and all around amazing travel system for your young child, I can't recommend the JetKids BedBox highly enough!

I received The Stokke Jetbox through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I am so thrilled I was able to try this amazing product! The Jetbox is the perfect accessory to travel with! My three year old loved being able to ride through the airport and I loved not having to wrangle her and her things. It came with a collection of stickers so she was able to customize the Jetbox and took pride in her creation. The Jetbox made our holiday travel seamless and occupied my toddler so I didn't have to worry about her running away or touching all of the dirty airport surfaces. The Jetbox is sturdy and pulls extremely well and I didn't have to worry about it tipping over or the wheels getting stuck. The maneuverability alone makes this a top-notch product, it rolls better than my suitcase. This is a very well made product. What I loved best was the amount of storage inside the box and how it opened from the top. I was able to pack stuffies, blankets, and books for the flight and still had space for a few of my things which didn't topple over when I opened it. Once in flight, the attendants were so impressed by the craftsmanship and versatility. The bed portion of the box is so useful for long plane trips. I was able to set up everything quickly and my daughter slept the entire flight as she was able to stretch out and get comfortable. On our return flight from California back to Florida we were told it wasn't allowed, but after a bit of pushback and informing the attendant what the purpose was for it was able to be used. The Jetbox is so new and innovative perhaps those attendants weren't aware of its purpose. Still, it made traveling so much easier, I'll likely never travel without the Jetbox.

I was so excited to receive this travel suitcase from the Stellar Product Testing Panel (I actually did a little dance when it arrived!). We had our first flight as a family of 4 planned for Thanksgiving and my kids and I were pumped to get to try out the suitcase. Unfortunately, due to COVID numbers spiking, we were not able to take our trip, and thus were not able to use the suitcase on the plane. However, we did test it out around the house....and we LOVED it! My son (3 years) and my daughter (22 months) really loved how they could ride on the suitcase and that they could personalize it with the included stickers. They also liked that it was light enough for them to pull by themselves. My only complaint is that the handle isn't quite long enough for my husband (he's 6'2) to pull the kids on the suitcase. Even so, the suitcase will be so helpful when we are actually able to travel by air, because if you know anything about little kids, you know they are notorious for walking slow and getting distracted. Cue the bedbox! I can't wait to use the "bed" feature as well (fingers crossed we get to fly soon!). This suitcase is spacious and holds everything we would need to carryon for our flight, eliminating the need for me to lug a separate bag for the kids' stuff. They can pack their most prized possessions- snacks, snugglers, and toy cars- all within the suitcase. And if that wasn't enough, the backpack is killer! We have been able to use this, even without air travel. I love how it expands to hold more when needed, but can also be used for smaller items/kids. It is sleek in design and very sturdy in construction. Overall, we are so happy with the Stokke Bedbox and Backpack and look forward to using it on many trips in the future.

I was given this Jetkids by Stokke suitcase and sleeper to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. There are so many exciting things to love about the suitcase and sleeper. The first is it also doubles as storage while traveling. I was able to fit my younger son's diapers, wipes, change of clothes and generous amount of snacks in it- for during our adventures. The next thing we loved about it was our ability to pull one of our kids on it instead of carrying them or having them walking- I think this was my boy's favorite thing about it! This makes it easy to navigate traveling with young kids. The suitcase has a handle that makes it easy for the kid to sit on it and the parent (or the older sibling!!) can pull with the clip on handle - a win! While we're not traveling or taking it on adventures, my boys love to pull each other around our house on it- we are certainly getting great use of it. The only downside I see with this suitcase is it is pretty bulky due to it being a hard suitcase. When traveling with two young kids- that tends to come with a lot of extra items already and this is just one additional bulky item- though probably wouldn't prevent me from using it more in the future.

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel, we got to test out the Stokke Bedbox and backpack on our roadtrip a week ago. This suitcase is the perfect 'toy', it kept my kids (1.5y and 4y) occupied during check in/out, and any downtime we have, they were riding and pushing it around. The box is very sturdy and can take a few hard bumps, but I'm not so sure about the front wheels that swivel. The orange rings for the pulling strap also looks flimsy. The box holds quite a lot, they can't open it themselves but have no trouble packing and putting toys back in. Since I went on a roadtrip, I didn't get to use the bed function but I did set it up in the car to see if my kids will fit. My 4yo has to curl up to fit in and my 1.5 yo can lay down flat on the pad with his legs bent a little. In the future, when we feel comfortable flying again, I think it will be perfect for long domestic flights where carryons are allowed as long as they fit in the overhead cabin. They can stuff it full. I'm not sure about international trips though becasue the usual airlines I travel with only allow 15 lbs and the box itself is already very heavy there's no way we can store anything else in it.

The BedBox has a bit of a learning curve, so make sure you test it out and get familiar with all the moving parts prior to travel. We had a planned plane trip to Florida during Thanksgiving, but due to the virus, it was cancelled. We decided to drive instead. My kids loved that we could pack all of their treasures inside the BedBox and in the Backpack. The Backpack can even expand to fit more if needed! The detail on the Backpack is so cute - the seat buckle closure, captain stripes and crew tag make it feel official for travel! Stickers were included with the BedBox and the kids couldn't wait to decorate it and make it their own. We used the BedBox in the car to have a footrest on the long drive. No more complaints about legs dangling and falling asleep (score!). We were able to safely buckle the booster and car seats with the BedBox in place. It is so light that if we wanted to take it out and move it, it was no problem at all! We can't wait for travel to return to normal so we can test this out on an actual plane. The bed portion of the BedBox makes it so cozy! I think my kids like the ride on feature the best. Be careful around turns though, this baby can pick up some speed! I love the versatility of the suitcase/ride on/bed. I know this will be used heavily in our house. In fact, we recently had a bad snowstorm and lost power for several days. We traveled to a hotel and brought the BedBox with us. It was so handy to be able to pack clothes and toys inside it and have my kids pull or ride on it into the hotel. Let me begin by proving some information on myself, I am a 31 yr old stay at home mom to two very energetic children (2 & 4), we live in Southern California where adventures every weekend are a must. SUITCASE: We have been using this suitcase/sleeper/backpack for a couple of weeks now and are in love. We received the color blue for both the suitcase and backpack which is a beautiful light color that has a pop of orange on the straps. It included the mattress, a carrying strap & two sheets of stickers to customize. My kids quickly got to work on putting stickers everywhere on the suitcase! I noticed the stickers were very easy to remove from the suitcase and didn't leave any residue so you're able to change them up by purchasing additional sticker packs. Due to COVID we couldn't use it to travel far but we did take several trips to my sisters house to spend weekends & one quick trip to SD for work. The suitcase surprised me so much, I was able to fit my own clothing, 2yr old and 4yr olds clothing along with a favorite blanket & some snacks. I used some set pieces (similar to packing cubes) to keep everything organized & was easily able to fit 3 blouses, 2 leggings, undergarments & 3 pairs of socks for myself. 3 shirts, 2 pairs of jeans, 1 pair of pajamas & 3 pairs of socks for each child along with 5 diapers, a pack of wipes, a small set piece of snacks, a swaddle & a bag of toiletries. The bedbox compartment is where we stored the snacks and swaddle, the rest went into the main compartment easily. I was shocked to fit so much! I loved how slim it is making it so easy to store behind the seats of my vehicle without having to worry about it moving around much because it can be secure with the strap and the outer plastic material makes cleaning easy. I have a compact SUV so slim items are a must for storage.

I was given this kids suitcase and sleeper to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have a 4 year old and for the holidays, we were able to travel to the grandparents in relative comfort. The plane ride is 5 hours so this puppy made it more comfortable for my kiddo. My son didn't nap during the plane ride, but having the bedbox out gave us more space in his seat for toys and snacks to be within reach. My kid's favorite feature was definitely the ability to ride on the suitcase. It gave him a physical activity to do while waiting for our plane to board.

My least favorite part about this suitcase is that my son wants to play with it at home and be pulled around... and I just want to put it away. LOL! My son is almost 3 and he thinks it's the greatest. The biggest perks for me were that it entertained my son in the airport, it fit under his seat on the plane, in front of his seat in the car when the trunk was packed, and he was more comfortable on the flights which definitely made my life easier while also managing an 8 month old. It's really easy to set up on the flight, and even though I was initially skeptical about its stability using only a strap to pull it, it was stable after all. My son enjoyed packing his own things in it, but the next time I travel I think I'll leave it empty and just put everyone's coats in it once we get to the airport. He can't access his stuff while using the mattress...:obviously, but I didn't consider that before I used it. It's more of an experience product than a suitcase but it's practical enough that I wouldn't ever not bring on future flights. Hopefully my kiddos can share when my baby gets a little older, but I may need to buy another one at that point. It comes with a backpack which was fun and useful for my son to pack his water and snacks in. I really liked the size of the backpack. It's small enough for a little guy. We had a great experience traveling with this suitcase and after learning a little more about it, I know we will have an even better one next time.

I was even more impressed by the kids size backpack. I am really glad that the backpack came with the bed box, because storage is limited within the bed box, if you take all of the components for sleep, such as the included mattress, a blanket, etc. My 3.5 year old son was instantly enamored by the bedbox, and couldn't wait for our trip. He tested it out in our living room for days prior to our trip. He also wore the kids backpack to pre-school, and was super comfortable in it. Having the bedbox saved us the hassle of bringing a stroller, something that I was worried about, needlessly. I loved how easily the Stokke boxbox maneuvers around bends, and especially how well it travels on airport flooring. Both the linoleum and the short pile carpet were easy to maneuver on. I don't think that the bedbox would be useful for a child over the age of 5. Even when he laid down, my 3.5 year old was a little squashed. It was comfortable enough for him to stay in his seat and not spill over onto my lap, so that's a win. We were lucky to be allowed to use the bedbox on our flight, however many airlines don't allow it, or allow it only in certain seats. This may over complicate plans for travel. By preparing and researching airlines and seats ahead of time, you could guarantee a chance to use it on the plane. The bedbox wins on these points: Easy to maneuver, kids love it, easy to set up, easy to clean, seems very sturdy, can accommodate 70lbs riding on it/ sitting on it as a bed. The backpack wins on: style, comfort, functionality with the chest strap, and expandable compartment within. The bedbox and backpack together are a winning combination. The missing star is for price, and longevity. I don't think a 70lb child could use it.

When we received our Jetkidsâ"¢ By Stokke® BedBoxâ"¢ & Backpack from Stellar Product Testing Panel, we were still planning to visit Grandma and Grandpa for our son's birthday. Unfortunately, COVID changed the plans and we weren't able to make that trip. Instead, we spent lots of time at home, with all my children (7, 6, 4, and 2) taking turns pulling the suitcase around. In all those hours, nobody ever fell off or crashed, which was my biggest concern with having someone ride on. This is definitely a quality-made item, very sturdy and strong. The backpack was the coveted toy for weeks with our 3 girls and is probably the cutest backpack I've ever seen. However, I don't think we would use the mattress included because it takes up too much room in the suitcase and little else would fit in there. If we had been able to take our trip, we would have had our oldest pull our youngest and I think that would have worked well for both of them. I don''t know that one parent with more than one child would be able to manage getting onto the plane with the suitcase though, with it being so bulky. Perhaps if it was the only carry on, it would be manageable; otherwise, there would definitely need to be more than one adult or older child to assist.

The Jetkids BedBox & Crew Backpack by Stokke were an absolute game changer when flying with our children internationally over Thanksgiving. Not only were they useful on the airplane, but they were also useful at the airport. More so, then I had expected. With the BedBox being spacious, either child (my 2.5 year old or my 4.5 year old) were able to fit on and ride safely through the airport. The handle put my mind at ease that they would remain stable throughout the ride. Also, the swivel wheels made it easy to navigate and stay stable, no matter the turn. I liked that the BedBox kept my children within arms length and it kept them from running off and/or touching everything in the airport...especially during a pandemic. After takeoff, my son was able to easily unpack his belongings from the Crew Backpack, as well as from the BedBox. The Crew Backpack held his snacks, coloring items and his stuffed animals...we had the Crew Backpack extended to accommodate all of this. Inside the BedBox he had a few books, blankets and his headphones. As soon as it was safe, we setup the bed and my son was able to get comfortable. Not once did he complain about the long plane ride. Overall, we loved the JetKids BedBox and Crew Backpack. It was beyond useful and made traveling with our children so much easier. We were so excited to test out the Jetkidsâ"¢ By Stokke® BedBoxâ"¢ & Backpack on our trip last month! Given travel looked a little different since we last took a trip with our kids, we wanted to make it as fun as possible and this definitely did the trick! The suitcase was a hit with our kids...they loved packing it with all their favorite things to bring on the plane (activity kits, stuffed animals, books, etc.) and there was still enough room to include blankets and snacks for each kid. If you're using as the only suitcase for the kids though, it's probably good for a short trip. We definitely needed another suitcase for the rest of their clothes/shoes because we were going to be away for a week. The most fun was having the kids ride on top (one at a time) and pull them through the airport. It was fun for both of us and got us moving through the terminal quickly. The backpack is a perfect carry-on size too, and both fit snugly under the seat in front of us. When it came time to transform the suitcase into a bed, we had to make sure to take turns because both kids loved the option to stretch their legs out and relax. This is probably one of the best inventions for toddlers in airports and on planes. I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Keeping kids close while traveling is so important and with the JetKids bedbox, you have the ability to keep your toddler happy and safe simultaneously. I packed lots of fun things to do in the bedbox compartment and everything fit well. Also, this things rolls so well! I only have one complaint and it's that I wish there was one for adults, too!
