I've had the Allegiance convertible seat for just over a month now and use it for my 16 month old daughter. Previously she used a Britax infant seat and I have to say that I've been very impressed with the quality seats the company manufactures. While my daughter is petite, I felt that she would be more comfortable in a larger seat and knew we'd soon be in the market for a convertible one anyways. The Allegiance provides a moderately deep seat with thick cushioning, making it a comfy ride-- my 3 year old tested it out when it first arrived and verified! The seat also comes with a removable cushion for infants, or toddlers I believe under 22 lbs. My daughter was right at the weight recommendation so I decided to leave out the infant cushion and she fits nicely. The seat is easy to install BUT unlike my other Britax and my son's Graco convertible seat... there is no level indicator window... there is a picture of a line that you are supposed to use to tell whether the seat is in a level position--- I don't like the lack of this feature at all and recommend this is fixed on future models. The seat, being that it can be forward or rear-facing has 3 levels of tilt to it based upon weight etc. These modes are not indicated on the seat, so you have to guess which position you're putting it in... this should also be updated on future models. I do love that the seat grows with your child, with multiple positions and back heights... simply extend the back and you're done! I love that the height of the straps self-adjust and you don't have to fidget with them. Unlike infant seats that don't need a cupholder, I think that one is a must in a convertible seat if it is truly the best seat to grow with your child.. this one however does not have a cupholder. Overall, this is a good quality product that I would recommend to anyone in the market for a convertible seat. Thank you to the weeSpring Parent Panel for sending us this car seat to try. When it arrived, I had my husband put it together and install it. Once he figured out where all the parts went, we put our daughter in it to adjust to her height, which was very easy to do. Installation in the car was also a breeze. I had heard a lot about Britax car seats and how safe they are, so that put my mind at ease. And, of course, my daughter threw up in the car seat two days after we installed it, so we got to test out how easy it was to clean. While there were some pieces that could be thrown in the washing machine, others had to be hand washed and I found the whole process to be really laborious. Putting the seat back together the next day after everything had dried was difficult as well. Hopefully, this isn't something we have to experience again! Overall, I love how easy the straps go around my daughters arms and how easy it is to tighten the straps. I also love that she can use this car seat for many years. I would definitely recommend it!

Seriously I love how my son sits in this carseat and how easy it was to install. The LATCH system makes it easy to place inside of most vehicles (older ones are a tad more complex due to not having this feature, but still easy to install) The design is simple but great. My son sits forward facing and actually loves sitting in this one above all others. I highly recommend. I received this carseat from weeSpring Parent Panel.

My daughter is 18 months old and we were using the Britax Marathon Convertible Car Seat with click tight technology. The Allegiance Convertible Car Seat was much easier to install, had many more safety features, and our daughter loves to just sit in it. I tried to include a photo of her just sitting in it in our living room before install but the connection was not so great. The price point is quite affordable when you think about how long your child can use it. My daughter will help you buckle in which is a breeze thanks to the Velcro on the straps to hold them out of the way while you place your child in the seat. The adjustments are fairly easy if you are or are not familiar with the Britax line. The cover on the car seat appears to cover much more of the little crevices where food and crumbs can hide which will help keep it much cleaner. We plan to continue using this car seat and forward our older one on to our new baby which will be here soon.

This car seat offers comfort even without the padding. It is heavy, but installing it is easy and quick. Also, the buckle has this puffy soft part in front of it. This keeps it from going into his legs and near areas. Has side parts help head stay up. Our child feels very comfortable in this car seat. My favorite part about the car seat is knowing how comfortable it is at same time safe. Only reason we got this car seat is because. Weespring parent panal.
