Okay, this is definitely a 21st century car seat....they thought of almost everything when creating it! It's probably the easiest car seat I've installed, yet! I have 8 children, so I've had my fair share of car seats, and some have been a nightmare to install and clean. The Graco Slimfit3 was a cinch to install and my baby (18 months old) seems to really like it, and I've already washed the cover, and woah, so easy to remove it and throw it in the wash! When speaking about the slim fit, I'd say it's a game changer. We had another car seat for him before, and it was very difficult for my 7 year old to buckle her booster in our van next to the old car seat. Now that we've installed the Slimfit3, she can buckle with ease and that makes my life so much easier. The one downfall, I think is the material...it's stains so easily. I wish they could come up with a fabric that is wipeable or possibly one that wicks water. My baby fell asleep in the car seat on day two, and was sweaty, and well now there is a sweaty head stain on the car seat. On Day 3, he fell asleep with hi bottle upside down so the seat was stained by the water. Sure, I can remove the fabric and wash it, which I did and is so much easier with the Skimfit3, but sometimes it would be nice to be able to wipe down a car seat in between washes and the fabric come clean. All in all, I love it and bravo to Graco for making parents lives easier for installing and uninstalling car seats. I think we can all agree, when we have to install a car seat, we die a little inside, there's nothing more time consuming and stressful. As the name suggests, the slim fit carseat is significantly more compact, but it does not seem to loose any features. We put this seat, forward facing in the back seat of a full size truck cab. It is alongside a rear facing traditional graco and the difference is more than noticeable. We have gained an extra 2-3" on each side. In the future, when we need 3 seats, this will be the way to go for sure! The extra space in the truck is not my favorite thing. Thanks to the stellar product testing panel my son is MUCH more secure. At 3.5 and just under 40lbs, he always looked small in his seats, like there was a lot of room to bounce around in an accident. The slim design of this seat hugs him nicely. The head rest area leaves little room for his head to bounce back and forth in an accident but by no means is he squished. He says he prefers this seat and would rather ride in it than his others! Although not used by us currently, the infant inserts are strong and high quality. The seat was pretty easy to install both with latch and my belt, as all our Gracos have been!

When I found out that I was going to be receiving a Graco SlimFit3 LX Car Seat through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I was really excited. Then when three of them showed up at my doorstep- I nearly fainted! We have three kids (an almost five year old and a set of two year old twins) and let me tell you, it is not easy finding a seat that is able to accommodate all of their individual needs. Most recently, we were using another car seat brand with a narrow design that was working for us, but admittedly not very well. The other brand's seats didn't have multiple recline options, and while rear facing they took up a lot of space from the seats in front of them. We don't have that issue at ALL with the SlimFit3 LX car seats. Even on the most reclined setting while rear-facing, there was plenty of room for my (tall) husband to sit comfortably in the driver's seat, and with room to spare! Before installing these seats in my van (a 2012 Honda Odyssey), I will admit that I had my doubts about the ability to fit one of them in the middle seat because it's quite narrow. I was pleasantly surprised to be proved wrong, as the SlimFit3 LX fit EASILY in the middle. I used the seatbelt install method for all three seats because I prefer it over the LATCH install, and there was so much room in between them that I could slide my hand back and forth in the empty space. Now, on to the fun stuff: the features. The padding seems super comfortable and the mesh side panels are a really nice touch. My kids are essentially little portable space heaters, so any feature that provides a bit of extra breathability is awesome for them. When compared to our other seats, the SlimFit3 LX car seats seem fairly lightweight, which was a nice surprise. (Spoiler alert: I am not a fan of lugging heavy seats around. Seriously, is anybody?) Another huge bonus is that the straps don't need to be re-threaded every time you adjust the headrest, which is probably my absolute favorite feature. The cup holders snap in really easily, and my only complaint is that when installing the seats rear-facing, the cup holders seemed to get in the way a bit so I chose to leave them off on the rear-facing seats. Admittedly, I think that the shape of the Odyssey bucket seat contributes to the issue a bit, but it wasn't a huge deal for us to leave them off, as their previous car seats didn't have cup holders on them anyway. Overall, I am incredibly happy with the seats. I would say that my kids are too, but I would be lying because quite frankly, they hate being restrained. Thankfully, they do seem much more comfortable in the SlimFit3 LX car seats, and they've definitely complained less the last few car rides. In my book, that's a total win. My 3 children range in age from 4.5 years to 16 months and these seats worked well for each of them. I was amazed at how much better these seats fit into the back of my GMC Terrain SUV. I used to struggle with install but these seats made it so easy! My girls seemed just as comfortable as in their old seats and all fell asleep. I love that each seat has two removable, dishwasher-safe cup holders. The only down side is because there's little space I could only use 4 out of the 6 cup holders provided. My favorite feature is the slim design while not losing out on safety for my girls. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with these car seats!

Got thus seat for my 7 month old. It is very compact and he loves it.

I have used quite a few different car seats, including a few convertible seats, yet I have never come across a seat that is as light or has as small of a footprint as the Graco Slimfit3 LX 3-in-1 car seat. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this car seat! It is, at most, half the weight of other seats that we have used and narrow enough for me to place two of them side by side in a Subaru Outback and still leave enough room for me to sit comfortably right next to them! They are also extremely easy to install. I love the seat belt locking system located under the backrest of the car seat. It was very easy to make the seat feel secure. The seat also has a recline bubble that helps to make sure that a child is in the right position as well as a five-point safety harness that does not have to be rethreaded every time you need to adjust the height of the seat. I was able to remove and replace the seat cover pretty quickly and each seat comes with removable cup holders that fit anything from cups to small toys/crayons. My kids love the soft cushions on the seats and the fact that they can actually see each other now when they are sitting next to each other without having to lean forward in an awkward position. I love how comfortable I am with moving the car seats to and from different vehicles and that these seats will grow with my children for years to come! These seats are incredible and I would recommend them to anyone in the market for a convertible car seat!

Many thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing us with these stellar car seats. Yes, they fit side by side easily in our pickup with room for a whole person to fit in the third seat. That was unheard of before using the Graco® SlimFit3â"¢ LX 3-in-1 Car Seat. We tested two seats, one rear facing and one forward facing and the boys love being close enough to play games together. As parents we love that a seat is available for stuff (kids...enough said) or a full-size person (yeah, you get it if you've ever crammed yourself into the middle back seat), luggage, or even that third car seat. Seats have all the bells and whistles; easy to remove cup holders, infant cushions, and cover making it simple to clean. My older son loved that the buckle is a square, not sure why but with kids I'll take the win of him liking the comfort of the car seat and it's features! Installing forward facing with LATCH was simple, just remember in a pickup truck to hook the top tether strap FIRST! Rear-facing seat was a bit more challenging only because the seat back lifted so far upwards (while checking secure installation) that I had to undo and retry. We ended up moving rear-facing from behind passenger to middle seat and using seatbelt as LATCH is not available in our truck in back middle seat.

I received the Graco SlimFit 3 seat to try out as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. When I originally opened the box I was shocked at how narrow the seat actually was and was worried my 18 month old would be uncomfortable in it, but my worries were quickly erased once we got her in it. She seems very comfortable in her this car seat so far! The seat was very easy to install and I loved that it came with quick start guide for installation which made it a breeze to figure out. I also appreciated how it noted how to properly adjust the seat buckle position and strap height to ensure your child is as safe as possible while using the seat. The cup holders are an added bonus since my toddler always wants her sippy cup in reach! I'm excited this seat will grow with her since baby gear can really add up. We have 3 year old twins and an 18 month old, so products that grow with our kids are an added bonus as it helps our wallets and also takes up less storage space. I wasn't able to fit this seat in a 3-seat across position in the back of our minivan but that's because our existing car seats for our twins are very large, but if I had 3 of these SlimFit seats they totally would have fit without a problem. I'm very pleased with this car seat and would recommend it to friends!

This car seat is perfect for multiple kids!!! We tried it in both my minivan and my husband's truck and the fit is perfect. We have 3 kids: 1, 4, and 11, so 2 car seats and a grown kid, and my eldest loved having the extra room with the slim fit. The only negative I have is it's not easy to switch between cars due to the narrow space for the seat belt to pass through. I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

We have three little ones in car seats and in the past, I have spent hours measuring and researching dimensions of car seats in order to find three that would fit. This is the car seat that will eliminate car seat frustrations. Our primary vehicle is a small SUV but we also need to be able to fit three across in a standard car (and transferring the car seats with ease is important when switching vehicles!). I have owned several car seats in the past and this one tops the charts. My favorite feature is the slim design. Three car seats fit easily in a standard car. We have one child rear-facing and two forward-facing and the car seats fit great. This car seat is slick to install both forward and rear-facing. Forward facing uses a belt latch and there is easy access to the latches because the bottom cover snaps on. The latches store underneath the car seat conveniently and there is more space to pass a seatbelt through. It was easy to install and transfer this carseat to different cars and yet the stability of the car seat was not compromised. It is easy to get the car seat secure and safely installed. I also love that this carseat spans the car seat years: 5-40lbs rear facing, 22-65lbs forward facing, and 40-100lbs high back booster. This is a huge deal both for convenience sake as well as keeping that slim design through all stages of car seat life. Even with rear-facing, the space between the top/head of the carseat and the driver or passenger seat was minimal (no scooting the passenger seat up to the dash just to make room for a rear-facing car seat). And the infant insert is easy to remove or install. Our children all seemed comfortable in this carseat. I love how easy it is to get them in and out of this carseat. Safety is my number one priority with car seats and safety is not compromised at all in this slim car seat. It is also slick getting the cover off to toss in the wash. I can actually remove and put the cover back on without having to take out the entire car seat. I love that there are TWO removable cup holders. The only downside is that it requires two hands to recline the seat. It's the only slightly trickier part of installing this car seat; however, the slim design and slick install otherwise outweigh this minor challenge. I highly recommend this slim, slick, safe, and comfortable car seat!

I absolutely love the Graco SlimFit3 LX 3-in-1 Car Seat. We are a Graco family to begin with and when we got a chance to test out the Graco SlimFit3 LX 3-in-1 Car Seat we were excited. We received the car seat through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and we are thankful for the chance to test this seat out. We have one of the bulkier Graco car seats and the SlimFit3 is actually slimmer and lighter then our current one. My daughter was extremely excited when we got it and fits it perfectly. I like that it's slim but my favorite thing about the car seat is where the cup holders are placed. It's like a dream come true. Plus it's affordable for a 3 in 1. Now that we're expecting our third we will have to invest in another one!

I was quite pleased with these cars seats. I am able to fit 3 across in the backseat of my minivan. 2 are configured like forward-facing car seats and one is configured like a booster. It left just enough room to buckle in the booster. I had previously tried a different car seat (the slimmest I could find) but was unable to actually fit 3, let alone buckle one as a booster. These were super easy to change from rear to forward-facing to booster. My children also seem to find them comfortable to sit in. I am so grateful to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for giving me these car seats.

I was given two of these car seats to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was blown away with how much room we were left in the back seat after swapping these in. With one seat forward facing and the other rear, we could EASILY add a traditional convertible seat or an infant seat with no problem between the two. My first concern with a slim fit seat was that the kids would have problems fitting comfortably. There was absolutely no reason for me to worry, both the 2.5 year old and the 1 year old are very comfortable. Installation was a breeze as well, the Latch connectors make life so much easier!

I was lucky enough to receive two Graco True3Fit LX 3-in-1 car seats to test out as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I cannot say enough about this car seat! It has everything from excellent safety ratings to the comfort your child deserves while riding in the car. I installed both seats rear facing which ever very easy to install using the latch system. These are designed to be able to install 3 across safely in most vehicles. They are slim and much lighter than most car seats which is an added bonus if you have to switch car seats out and into another vehicle. The infant inserts are easily removable and the harness storage is very helpful to get your child in and out without having to worry about the straps being tangled or dig buckles out from under them. The headrest and harness adjust with one button to move them up or down making it easy to keep them at the correct level as your child grows. Another great feature is the two cup holders. These however are not like the traditional cup holders on the sides of the car seat, these are positioned at the front of the seat and are easily removable. Overall this car seat is excellent and will grow with your children, the only car seat you will ever need! You cant go wrong with this purchase.

I got these car seats free in exchange for my honest review. Thanks Stellar Parent Panel! One of the first things we noticed about these seats was the weight. It's heavy, but I suppose that makes it more safe. Also, when it arrives it is set up for a newborn, and I love all the padding for a tiny baby. Some car seats have hardly any, and then the baby's head is not well supported. This looks like it would be nice for a wee little one. It's supper easy to adjust the straps with the head rest. I can easily let my children swap sides of the car they are on without having to change car seats over or unstrap the seats to adjust the straps. (Of course, the bottom part of the buckle will need to be adjusted manually if there is a big difference in the size of the children. Mine are just a bit different in height, so they've been able to trade off no problem.) You can also tighten and loosen the straps from the front after you adjust the headrest height. The head rest grows with the child, however it does seem kind of high. The side supports start at my children's ears. Another neat little feature is that it has little elastic straps on the sides to hold the seat belt out of the way for an easier time when putting the child in.....no digging for straps! I really like that the cup holders stick out the front and not the sides. It makes it more of a slim fit. Also, it's neat that you can remove them. You can recline it slightly in the forward facing position which is really nice for long car trips. It has a nice little indicator on the side to show you what reclines you can do for rear-facing and forward facing. The recline button is fairly easy, but it's a little bit hard to sit it back up. It's a bit on the hard side to install, so it isn't as easy to move from car to car. My husband swapped them into another van and he said the safety latch is a pain. He said he had to use the metal strap to ply the safety latch open to get the seat belt out. Bring able to open the cushions to thread it through makes it nicer though. So overall it's not too bad, just a bit harder. We love that it is super soft and cushy, and that you can remove parts of the padding that get dirty and wash them without having to take apart the whole seat. It is slim fitting. At the moment they are installed in our mid-size car with two of these seats and a third of another brand. My husband did have to remove the cup holder on the one side when it was installed in the car because it was hitting the lock button. That's not a big deal to us, just a side note. We took these car seats on a trip out of state. We were in a 15 passenger van, and had 3 seats across one row (again, 2 of these seats and one of another). Even with having 3 seats across, I was able to stick a bag of books next to the seat so my son could reach it easily. That was nice. I think these seats will last us a long time. It's so nice that it grows with your child! I asked my 3 and 4 year old if they like the seats, and they approved. :) Even though these seats are a bit harder to install, overall I think they are great seats that will last for a long time.

I'm really impressed with this car seat. I drive a Volkswagen Atlas and I can fit 3 of these seats comfortably across. They come with removable cup holders on either side, but I was able to fit three seats with both cup holders on each seat and still had room to spare. Even though the seats are slim, they are still very comfortable for the kids. The seat can grow with the child- ranging from a rear facing infant seat (infant padding included) to a forward facing harness to a high back booster. We configured ours for one rear facing infant seat for our 1 year old and two forward facing harnesses for our 3 and 5 year olds. All three kids fit comfortably and are happy in their seats. The material is breathable and easily cleaned. I loves how easy the headrests and harnesses are to adjust. I also like that the seats install with the latch system so I can feel comfortable they are safe and secure. The only issue we had with this seat was that it wasn't quite as easy to install as other Graco seats we have used, however after watching a quick video, we were able to install them all relatively easy. Overall, I highly recommend this seat especially if you have multiple kids in car seats. It will give them plenty of room! I was given the Graco SlimFit3 LX 3-in-1 Car Seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I'm so happy to have this more compact car seat! I drive a compact SUV, which even sounds bigger than it is. Before trying this car seat, the other brands of car seats we tried required the front passenger seat to be moved all the way forward which wasn't comfortable for any passenger, and even without a passenger was distracting for the driver's peripheral vision. With the Graco SlimFit3, even my 5'11' husband can sit in the front passenger seat comfortably. Even though this car seat is "slim fit", it does not seem small or less sturdy than any full size car seat. If anything, the redesign was so smartly executed that it seems more smartly padded and has all the traditional supports that every other car seat features. The redesign also smartly created latch stowing, allowing you to store the latch systems you are not currently using. For people who have never had to lug a car seat in and out of their car, this may seem unimportant, but having a swinging seatbelt latch hitting you in the knee or shin when you're struggling to drag a car seat between vehicles gets old immediately. I appreciate that despite concentrating the size of the car seat, two cup holders are still featured and do not stick out laterally or take up unnecessary space. I was only sent one car seat to test, but I do have an older toddler who rides in a traditional forward facing car seat. Before using this slim fit car seat, I could not lean back between their car seats to hand them anything - I usually reached an arm backwards over my head and hoped they could reach whatever I was handing them. Now, with even the few inches of space saved, I have more room to fully turn and reach between them. I'm not sure if any adult would climb over the car seats, but I feel confident that a young person or petite adult could sit between the car seats in the center seat with the SlimFit3. The space between car seats is also wide enough to accommodate stuffed animals, tablets, snacks, coats and blankets without looking like a boobytrapped gorge. While I have not removed the seat pad to wash it yet, the Rapid Remove machine washable cover seems incredibly intuitive and doesn't worry me that I have to remember how to put the whole thing back together. Even though I really appreciate the harness storage points on this car seat, I did have some trouble getting the lower anchor straps out of the storage area before first installation. It's obvious how you are supposed to remove them, but without two sets of agile adult hands, you can't get them out. I know my parents wouldn't be able to get the straps out of the lower anchor attachment storage area (even with a video demonstration). But once we got the lower straps out, the installation was much easier than any other car seat brand or even other Graco models I have owned. Some of my other absolute favorite parts of this car seat are the harness covers, buckle tongue holders and the breathable airflow mesh channels. The harness covers on the SlimFit3 (aka those pieces on the shoulder straps that keep your child from getting seatbelt rash) have rubberized backing. This is the first time I've seen this addition, and it's genius! I can't tell you how many times I've struggled pushing harness covers up or pulling them down so I can tighten the straps - truly an innovation. I've seen a variety of buckle tongue holders that are useless but the Graco SlimFit3 has buckle tongue holders that actually work, and can be utilized one-handed. Preventing twisted harness straps may be one of the best parts of my day. And, FINALLY, the breathable airflow mesh channels are perfect - why have mesh channels not been instituted in car seats before now? My CUV has dual sun roofs and even with the air conditioning on, I know those car seats get hot, so this innovation makes me confident that my baby will be so much more comfortable. This newly designed Graco SlimFit3 LX 3-in-1 Car Seat is the best car seat I have ever used and I am so happy to know my baby gets to grow with these innovations for many years!

This seat is awesome we were lucky enough to receive this through Stellar Testing Panel. We used it for our 1 year old and our 3 year old and they both fit perfectly. It takes up less space in the back seat, so that's great. We can fit multiple seats without worry. The car seat was easy to install (just click in the LATCH) and your ready to go! My son said he was super comfy and loved how he was still able to see out the window. I love the longevity of the seat. I know we'll be using this for years to come!

Before these seats it was impossible to fit 3 car seat on the same row but we this ones everything changed i can fix 3 across with no problem. Being able to have all 3 kids in the same row gives us so much more room i love having them in the 3rd row of my minivan and having the second row free is a must thank you so much i will definitely recommend this seats. If i could give it more ratings i would if a 100 the best seat

I received this as part of the Stellar Review Panel. Unfortunately, it didn't fit my car with my other 2 seats. I drive a Hyundai Tucson, so it's probably not the widest back seat. The quality is great though. When I was trying to rearrange, my 2 year old sat in it and loved it. He was just about asleep in no time, which is a bonus all in itself.

I absolutely over this carseat. I needed to fit 3 across and they are perfect. They are light and easy to install. Also very nice cushions and well made!

Just got these today! So happy with how slim they are! I purchased two since I have two toddlers and a new baby on the way. They fit with our snugride snuglock 35 xt infant seat in my 17' Chevy Malibu which isn't very spacious! The kids love them. They seem comfortable. Super easy install on both. One forward and one rear facing!

This car seat is my absolute favorite! We have had many car seats between both our kids, and this one is so sleek and comfortable for the kids. They have room to grow with it! And it has cup holders that you can swivel in ans out to save space!

Noticeably slimmer! I have 3 kids ages 3, 2, and 6 months and these car seats are awesome!! I was skeptical about how thin they can really be, but I was not disappointed!

Great seat, just wish there was an extended spot for the bottom buckle, it is already a right fit for my average sized 4 yr old.

We purchased 3 of these seats for our sons, needing to fit 3 across a backseat and all rearfacing at that. I am thoroughly impressed by not only the narrowness of the seats, but the quality of them as well. My boys are comfortable in their seats and they sweat much less than in their old seats because of the design! We truly love these seats and will be continuing to recommend them even if the narrowness is not needed!

Easy to install, has a place to store the buckle clips when putting a child in and is compact enough to fit a small backseat in the car. This carseat was smaller than my infant seat and is way easier. I would recommend this to any parent. Plus its light weight

These seats ended up being the best decision I made based on recommendations from retailers known for selling car seats from several states which included Boston and Dallas. One gentlemen, who was known as the 'King of Car Seats' helped me make my decision from my list of some of the most expensive versions. I have triplets and the most important feature I needed was to have a slim fit design that would fit into my small Honda CRV. I definitely needed safety, comfort, and features such as cup holders. Next was the ease of installation AND the ease of adjusting the seats as the triplets grow

This seat is PERFECT for fitting 3 car seats across. Adjusting the straps and installing in the car were the easiest of any car seat I've used in the past and I will definitely be purchasing 2 more once my twins outgrow their infant seats!

My son absolutely hated getting in the car because of his previous car seat. Now I can put him in the car and we can ride and it is no problem with being the car. Totally love this car seat.

We love it! We were trying to fit 6 kids (4 car seats) in a 8 passenger suburban! We needed space to get hands in to unbuckle themselves and these were the answer!! We bought two of them! One for a 4 year old and one for a 18 month old! They are perfect! I love the lock offs for forward facing and also we will enjoy the ventilation the back of the seat has come summer!! If you are trying to puzzle car seats or make room for a booster to buckle beside a car seat, this is the answer!!!

We have a preschooler and we're blessed with twins last year. We were only able to upgrade one vehicle, so finding seating solutions to accommodate 3 kids in our other, smaller vehicle (a 2015 Honda Accord) was a challenge. The SlimFit3 rose above and beyond to meet this challenge! We were able to do a seat belt install on 2 SlimFit3 seats for our rear-facing twins and fit them alongside our older child's forward facing seat belt installed 2017 Graco 4Ever seat (which we have also loved!). We can even get the passenger seat all the way back with with seats in rearfacing mode, which is a huge plus for my tall husband. The SlimFit3 seats are beautifully designed, solid, have comfortable padding for our littles, and installation was straightforward in the manual. We absolutely recommend them for families with twins or higher order multiples and anyone just needing versatile seats for multiple kids.

Very slim! Much much better than the slim fit before it in my opinion. Not as compact from to back rear facing as I would like but it's not horrible 

Super easy to install! Bought for the fact I could fit 3 across in my Dodge Journey. Had no issues at all, fits perfect. All 3 fit great rear facing.

Truly a slim fit with plenty of comfort space for the child! Love the removable cupholders! Only issue I've had is the buckle straps are very easily twisted up when unbuckling. They seem to twist up when sliding them off the child's sholder. I didn't ever have to untwist our last Graco carseat buckle straps. Not sure why this happens but it's annoying to have to un twist them so often.

Love this seat! Great for 3 across! We have a small sedan (BMW 525XI) and all 3 of my kids can fit comfortably!

The seat was mostly assembled when it arrived and all I had to do was fit the straps to my grandson.

This is a narrow car seat, which is exactly what I needed. I'm happy that Graco finally came out with one. I like the pull mechanism in this. It is very smooth. The only reason I didn't give it 4 stars is the color options. The gray will look dirty, but it was the only option I had. I wish they had a black one or one with more of a pattern.

The Graco SlimFit® 3-in-1 Car Seat really brings me peace of mind with all the safety features. The side cup holders are a plus! Not to mention it was easy to install and the product is super secure and comfortable.

This car seat is amazing! I have a Nissan Rogue and can now fit three car seats in my car thanks to this car seat! It's also amazingly easy to install and seems the most sturdy and safest seat we have ever purchased. We bought two and plan on buying a third soon.

So far I love it. The size is great for my 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe. I have it rear facing and it doesn't affect the front passengers legroom. It also doesn't take up the the space of the width in the back. I have another kid in the Graco Turbo booster. The color is gorgeous. The snap seat pad is nice so it's easy to access seat belt or tethers. It looks comfy for my 26 month old. I've had it for a few weeks and I'm happy, especially since the other car seats on the market this narrow are Cleks and Dionos and they are more expensive and I couldn't find them anywhere in my area to check out in person. I didn't want to make that kind of commitment if I'd have to return it and reorder- waste of time and money to me. Graco Slimfit LX! Make sure you get the LX if you are looking for the narrowest width, not the regular Slimfit.

Okay, seriously where have these been my entire mommyhood life??? They all fit 3 in a row in my husbands Subaru??! He can now take them all everywhere with him and give me alone time! No more only being able to fit everyone in our SUV! Guys, if you have multiple children these car seats are EVERYTHING you'll ever need. And they go from Newborn all the way up to Child! The Graco True3Fit LX 3-in-1 car seat is lean and great for someone with limited backseat space for their kiddos. Stellar Product Testing Panel delivered Graco's latest grow with you car seat in a new slimmer design. We have various models of the Graco systems, and this one is noticeably slimmer. My cute and chubby 18-month-old look like a busted can of biscuits sitting in it. So now its my lean three-year old's new ride. While our vehicle's backseat is captain's chairs, this will be the car seat that we travel with in the future. This slim design will be great for flights and be a welcomed smaller size in rental cars. I love that the car seat has practical drink holders that do not get in the way of my toddlers' legs and are hard to remove. The fabric is very breathable and easy to wipe. At a glance, everything snaps into place so I believe this will be easy to wash in the future. I was frustrated upon my first attempt to install the Graco True3Fit LX because it had to be completely taken apart to get the right straps out and strung correctly. I didn't have the time on the first attempt that I just re-installed the previous car seat. Second attempt went smoother as I could thoughtfully check instructions with proper settings and install in the car. The straps were easy to click in place and tighten. My son's legs look more comfortable and he says he likes his new chair. My favorite part of the design is the ease of the release button for the straps. I always release and tighten the shoulder straps when I get my son in and out. Finally, this button as at an easy angle for release. The sturdiness of the design gives me the peace of mind that I can use this car seat for years to come.

Fitting 3 convertible car seats in the car is such a feat. Now I can say it is no longer! I love the slim fit of these car seats, I got these to fit in my SUV but they fit perfectly side by side in my Camry! I have a 7 year old who now can sit comfortably while on road trips and her head doesn't hang all over the place. She is average size and has no issues with the it being slim. My 1 year old and 3 year old also have no problems with getting in and getting situated. I love the buckle storage for the booster transition, no more removing buckles! I am just so elated that I can fit three car seats in the backseat of my car. This saves us in gas, time and wear and tear on our other vehicles. Don't get me wrong they great in the SUV and truck but the fact they fit in the car with no issues and they still have some minor space between them is just fantastic. I honestly believe that these would fit in a smaller vehicle size as well. I like that the cup holders are removeable, not so much how far they stand out from the seat but they are always helpful to have. Its easy to adjust and get balanced as well as for height with the easy pull lever on the top. His truck is a Ram 1500 express. It's not a full cab so the back has limited leg space. We've struggled for two years trying to find the perfect car seat to fit. We also have three across. This car seat is excellent! My two year old fits perfectly. The three across we have are this Grace Truefit LX 3-in-1, a booster seat, and a high back booster. I am able to fit all three across with a little wiggle room thanks to this car seat. My daughter has enough leg room so she is comfortable. She also loves her two cup holders. I see this lasting for years. My personal favorite thing about this car seat is how easy the straps are to tighten and release. They glide so smoothly! I have owned probably a dozen car seats now and I've never had one where the straps glide so smooth and care free. Absolutely love and would recommend to absolutely anyone!

With two kids very close in age, we've been searching for car seats that are safe and will fit in our cars. Thanks so much to Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing us the opportunity to check these out! First this seat is super sturdy. We previously had a different brand and I was glad to swap it out for the Graco True3Fit. The setup and installation were very easy and I love their unique LATCH clips. Also, I drive a Nissan Rogue which has pretty tilted back seats, so I was worried about the angle, but the manual was very clear about how to safely adjust it. I do find the straps are difficult to tighten. I often have to pull on the straps from the backside of the car seat while also pulling on the strap at the base. I also wish the strap holders were a little easier to use (you put the metal part of the buckle in a small elastic band rather than the strap through a clip on the side) but it's not a deal breaker for me. Finally, though, my kids are happy! I have a two year old and a 9 month old and both are cozy and comfortable in their seats. We have more room in our car, my kids are safe, and my kids are happy. For me, that's a win!

I had always used my two larger convertible car seats and never thought twice about their width until we added a third baby to our mix. Thankfully, I received these car seats to try from the Stellar Product Testing panel, and got to open my eyes to the wonder of a slimmer car seat. We drive two different SUVs, one full size and one mid size. The first exciting surprise was that three of these could fit in our smaller car, two forward facing and one rear for our smallest baby. Of course, they also fit easily in our larger vehicle, as well. In addition to the kids, and my husband, our mother in law lives with us, which has meant someone rides in the back with our two kids when there's three adults in the car. With the slimmer design, it was finally possible to sit in the back with them comfortably. So what about features and what did the kids think? That's what really matters, after all. Most importantly: TWO cup holders-one for snacks, one for beverage. I also had no trouble cleaning the cup holders, and they didn't fall out easily like some of the others I've used. Really though, my kids barely noticed the smaller seats- they were perfectly comfortable. If anything they enjoyed to be closer that they could poke each other more easily. Installation was simple, and that's a good thing as we did switch these seats between cars. Because they're narrower, I also felt it was easier when I needed to lift and install them. Although we don't have anyone in a booster style yet, I'm excited that these car seats are the only ones we'll need, and by the time they're out grown, they'll have had years of great use. I was really pleased with these car seats, they definitely held up to other more 'luxury' style we've seen, and these are a great investment for anyone wanting one car seat for their child's whole life, and the slimmer design means you won't have any trouble adding more room for more kids or yourself as your family needs it. Highly recommend!

I received the Graco True3Fit LX 3-in-1 Car Seat about a month ago and It's been put to use daily ever since. At first glance I wasn't so sure about how open and unprotected the sides appeared. After reading the entire manual, installing and uninstalling several times for peace of mind and placing my 2 year old in the forward facing position, my concerns went away. There is plenty of protection. The slim design is nice and allows the seat to have a better fit in my car. I dont need to use towels anymore to make it for properly. There's also noticeably more space in the back seat too. My child picks this seat over the other seat that's installed next to it. I dont waste 10 minutes every car trip struggling to get my child to sit in the seat. The ease of installation is so simple and quick that I remove and reinstall the seat every trip as a safety check. I've had to wash the fabric a few times and the removal procedure is like no other.
