This is our second purchase of this seat and we love it. Cover is a pain to get off at first but once you figure it out it's not terrible. Does take up a lot of room in the car especially when rear facing but it's to be expected.

I love how compact front to back this seat is, it fits in my truck comfortably. I love the dark color so it doesn't get easily stained and it's super comfy for my child.

Great convertible seat, it's not too heavy, comfy for a growing toddler.

We love this car seat! I bought it for my 3 year old when she was 6 months old. She will be in this seat until she outgrows it when she's 16 lol. I just bought another one in a different pattern for my now 4 month old son. We love Graco! Love their products and their customer service is spectacular.

Our son seems to be super comfortable in his new car seat. It is easy to install and use. The release button is a bit of work to get to but nothing that would deter me from buying again. I would recommend this car seat.

We've really loved the Extend2Fit® Platinum Convertible Car Seat. We've had it for 3 months. It was a breeze to install and we're able to quickly and easily move it between cars. We use the Latch system in both cars so we can't speak to installing it without the Latch. I think the adjustable headrest and harness is a great feature. We haven't had to adjust the incline since buying it and we've always had it rear-facing. Our 18-month old daughter seems really comfortable in it, even on longer trips (3 hours). She likes being able to move her legs and kick her feet. The car seat fits well in my husband's sedan and fits decently in my "compact car" (Kia Soul) if we move the front passenger seat all the way forward. We bought the same car seat for my parents and they like it as well.

I love this car seat! Safety is obviously top priority when it comes to picking out a car seat, so I always go with Graco! My 3 year old is still able to be rear facing using the Extend2Fit! She's 27 pounds and 36" tall, so we still have a long way to go before we have to turn her around. It comes apart nicely for cleaning which is important when it comes to toddlers! I will be purchasing another one for my son as soon as he outgrows his infant seat.

We have literally bought 6 of these car seats (one for each kid, for each car we have). They are easy to install-even my 70 year old mother can do it correctly. Kids seem to find them to be comfortable. Love the extended rear facing option. Only thing I would say is that when you go forward facing, you have to remove the pads on the straps. That is not intuitive, so don't forget to do that!

I bought two of these car seats and while my daughter seems to be comfortable in it, the tightening strap is very difficult to adjust. I literally tear my hands up trying to tighten this car seat . At first I thought maybe I just to "break it in" but I've had it for 6 months now and it hasn't improved at all.

I bought this for my 10 month old son for Christmas. At first, I had a hard time figuring it out. Only because my son ate the manual. Now, it's super easy to change the settings on it, the position and my son loves being able to sit up higher! It's not a struggle to put him in his seat anymore. It's so great we actually just bought another one.

I bought this exact car seat 3 times now. I've gotten 2 other extend2fits but the cover on this makes it so easy to clean and install! My almost 5yr old rear faces in this along with his younger brother and very soon his 3rd brother. I plan to buy a 4th rapidremove extend2fit for their younger sister.

We got this shortly after our granddaughter was born and she is 2 1/2 now. She has only ridden in it a couple of times but we had found it easy to get her in and out of it and it has adjusted with her as she grows. Now, due to a recent varmint infestation, I needed to thoroughly clean and sanitize the seat. It was nearly impossible to remove the cover - took nearly 30 minutes and the use of a tool with a hook to detach the loops from the eye-hooks. I am dreading the moment when I have to start putting it back on after washing. I hope the machine wash claim is true because that is where it is now. Don't you realize that babies make messes?

I seriously don't understand how this seat has such amazing reviews. I have all of the same problems as the other 1 star reviews. FIRST of all, this thing is RIDICULOUS to install. I've installed a lot carseats in my life and this one is by far the worst. It takes two people and even then, it's such a huge hassle to get it tight enough for me to feel safe putting my son in it. Eventually we do get it secure though. SECOND, it's so hard to tighten the actual straps on the carseat. It's a struggle every single time I put him in. His other carseat is really easy compared to this one but he's about to outgrow it. THIRD, it's so hard to clean. Especially because the straps don't even come off. One puke or spit up and the straps are forever disgusting. FOURTH...and this is the one that really bothers me (well they all do, but this one especially)... with the way the padding is made, it causes my son to sit in a "C" shape with his chin to his chest and his pelvis/hips forward. It looks awful and so extremely uncomfortable. I've messed around with every single setting including taking out one or both of the included car seat pads, adjusting the height of the back of the car seat, and also messing with the recline. Nothing helps. My son hates this carseat. He absolutely loves his other carseat and is perfectly content in that one on long car rides. The second I go to put him in this one, he arches his back and starts screaming and crying and I can tell he's uncomfortable during the car ride. Unfortunately, I bought this carseat a year ago and only just recently opened it and started using it now that we bought a second car. I'm SO upset that I didn't try it out sooner because now I have to buy a whole new carseat and am stuck with this piece of junk. Thanks for reading. I hope this convinces you not to buy it.

I bought this for its extended rear-facing capabilities as my daughter is in the 90th percentile for height at two years old and we aren't ready to turn her around yet due to updates to safety recommendations. I've tried other brands of car seats for rear-facing and she just seemed so uncomfortable in them because her legs were so long they were always crammed against the back of the seat in my minivan. I know that is okay to do because she would be fine in an accident, but tell that to a wiggly toddler who wants more leg room! The pull out panel for this car seat is a life-safer and honestly I don't know why EVERY convertible car seat doesn't have this feature as you can extend it if you want you don't have to use it. About the only downside to this seat is the fact that you can't remove the cover without re-threading the harness which is SUCH a pain. It's not as bad as it was with my infant car seat as overall there are less spills on the car seat but she still has accidents and spills milk, or it just gets generally dirty which is the only reason I'm not giving it five stars. I think if you upgrade to a more expensive version that feature is probably included but at the time this was the only model of extended car seat that was easily available to purchase. Overall, it's a great car seat, sturdy, easy to adjust, comfortable, and not too wide. I've always loved Graco products and this is no exception.

My daughter is very petite, I was worried about having to foreword face her too soon since I don't think she would handle a car crash too well FF. This car seat is allowing us to keep her rear facing for as long as we can, although she would be fine without the extension for the time, that extra leg room is so nice for her to have. she is very comfortable in this seat and falls asleep nearly every car ride. I would love it if they could slim these down a bit for smaller cars, but regardless, we are about to buy a second for our youngest. I don't see these doing well for small newborns (my oldest was 6.2 lbs and stayed small, there's no way she would have handled this as a newborn, but my youngest was 9+ lbs and chunky, she would have been fine). I 100% recommend this car seat to anyone looking for a convertible car seat.

I bought this when my baby started to reach the weight limit on his infant Graco car seat. I needed something that would grow with him, and this was just what I needed! It fits great in my car, even though I have a regular sedan style car. No need for a big vehicle, this adapts to any type of car you have! My son loves this, it is so comfortable for him and he adjusted so well to using it. It's also appealing, very well-put together and super easy to install. We bought this about two months ago and overall we love it. It is hard to tighten and loosen the straps when it is installed but that is something we can live with. I have not yet had to remove the cover for washing so I am not sure how difficult that process is but it looks to be pretty easy. It was a little tough to insert and remove the cup holders for washing but that's okay because we typically just wipe it down since most car seats have cup holders that don't come out this didn't really matter to me. We really wanted the Graco 4ever but due to budget restrictions we went with this one as they had more budget friendly options.

I bought this 3 months ago and love it! My son is taller so we are able to adjust the seat. The only thing that can be trouble is figuring out how to adjust the straps and transferring the seat to another car. I'm going to have to take this on a plane next month and I'm crossing my fingers it works wee traveling!

We have the regular extend to fit and this one. Both are great but this one is super easy to install and get a snug fit with the advanced system. My baby is super tall and I'm glad we went with the extend to fit so she can remain rear facing longer.

Son finally grew out of his infant seat so this was the affordable choice we went with. Easy to swap between vehicles (but affordable enough to buy 2.) Easy to remove cover to wash. Only negative I have is the straps don't easily pull to tighten/ loosen. I have to help them from the back sometimes like they're tangled or catching. But they aren't.

We have 2 of these seats. My 4 year old has been using it for over 3 years and my 1 year old just went into hers. I love how easy they are to adjust. No need to undo the latch system and flip the seat over to move belts, just pull the handle up top and you are adjusted. The dual cup holders have come in handy and I love that they do not come off, one less piece to keep track of. I have had to remove covers to wash over the years and it comes off and goes back on very easily.

Using with my second child now. They both love(d) how comfy and roomy the seat is, yet not taking up too much room in the car. I love all the features; recline, extended foot rest, cup holders, adjustable height, multiple hookup options, etc.

I bought this seat because of the extendable foot room and other reviews I saw about this car seat. It's very easy to install and clip a child into. Pretty easy to keep clean. Child says he feels safe and comfortable! Overall I'm very happy with this product.

This seat will last you forever! My 3 year old and my newborn are both rear facing. My 3 year old is in the 97th percentile for height as well! This seat allows both kids to be rear facing comfortably. I was also in a small fender bender and my child was completely safe!
