It's very handy, and my baby loves it. It does different movements, in the form you would like and it plays music/sounds as well. Come with raddled toys. And you can also hook up your phone up so if you want to play other music, you can. I love it!

The only problem so far is the app is outdated or the chip in the base is I guess outdated. It doesn't work with the Google pixel phone. Here is what they said they would do for me.....In researching this further for you, we did find a Google Support forum in which Pixel users state that they have trouble maintaining a Bluetooth connection with Bluetooth Low Energy devices. 4moms connected products, like the mamaRoo, use Bluetooth Low Energy communication to connect via Bluetooth. If we can confirm your 12-month warranty eligibility, we can send a new mamaRoo base to you to see if replacing the base (and thereby the bluetooth chip contained in the base) helps resolve this issue. If replacing the base does not resolve the issue, it would be safe to assume that the Pixel phone and/or its operating system are preventing you from pairing with the mamaRoo.

This was given to me as a baby shower gift. We have it set up downstairs so she can swing while I eat and fold laundry. I have an Amazon Echo Dot hooked up to it to play her lullaby playlists. She sleeps in there with her pacifier, and absolutely loves it. I'm a totally blind mom, and the ability to interface with the swing using my phone app and Bluetooth is an unbelievable help to me. The app is extremely accessible, allowing me to operate the swing from anywhere using the screen reader on my phone. This is one of my favorite gifts, and it is for my daughter as well. Thankful for both this swing and bassinet for my 2 week old to rest in. I have peace I'd mind knowing he's safe and comfortable. Highly recommend. Also huge thanks to this company for providing us new buckles for our swing when our dog chewed through one of them, free of charge. It's the little things like that, that make a product/company great.

Was excited to buy this product for our new born. But after one week of having this product, it stops constantly with the blinking LCD light even after clearing the surroundings as per the trouble shooting instructions on the manual.

Well I have to tell you this is the second time I have purchased a MomaRoo. My first was 7 years ago and 4 grands through it. Now I have a new granddaughter and she started out in the older MamaRoo and then it passed away. It lived a long and healthy life. I love this product and if your looking for something durable to have this is the product. Everything is wonderful with this unit.

My 1 month old likes be swayed and bounced before she sleeps only during the day and when I would put her down she would wake up. Once I bought the Mamaroo, I swayed her until she was drowsy and then out her down on it and stayed there for a good 4 hours. It was worth my money, I can actually get things done now.

I gave five stars because my 3 mont daughter has the worse time with daytime naps it's hard to get her to sleep and when we do she wakes up 5-10 minutes later so she hasn't been getting the sleep she needs but the day when got this she feel asleep in 5 minutes or less (record breaking time!!) no crying or anything and actually took a full nap it's a complete miracle and life safe I can't actually get work done around the house (something I never thought I'd be able to do!!)the design is pleasing to look at it's super lightweight compared to the ingenuity swing we originally bought her super easy to assemble the app is easy to navigate Barry take up any room at all the quality of this product is amazing and it's so easy to use i don't know what I'd do without this! the only thing I wish was different was that the mobile on the top was motorized my daughter loves looking at it when I spin it she's Mesmerized by it whenever I'm spinning it around but doesn't pay attention t it when I'm not but other than that this is 100% a 5 star!!!

Ok seriously I only bought this swing because I had seen a lot of positive reviews about it. My baby absolutely hates this thing! My first baby I bought an $80 swing at Walmart and she loved it, this time I wanted something nicer thinking that my newborn would love it even more , but no. He can't be in it longer than 10 min before he starts crying. Whaaat a waste.

This thing is a solid piece of actual trash. I haven't even hardly used mine and it randomly stopped working. I restart it and it stops again and the screen blinks. And I bought mine used so I can't just replace the base of course. Thanks to the following many sleepless nights I'm about to have rocking my baby manually all night because this thing stopped working in the middle of the night. Pretty unsatisfied mom here.

My wife & I received this a a gift for our baby shower & we absolutely love this item. He has his own personal chair/rocker & it soothes him whenever we put him in there.

This is a great seat, and our grand daughter loves it, but i'm disappointed that the mobile above the seat just hangs there. This really should spin or have the option to add accessories that spin, play music, has lights etc. I feel like this is a major miss by the manufacturer.

Our Little one is in the NICU at West Penn and has loved the mamaRoo they have there. She should be home in 2 weeks and will be able to enjoy her own mamaRoo there.

Our baby loves this product. He has reflux and this does a nice job of soothing him.

It's alright, kind of loud. We used it for about a week and it started squeaking like crazy. It usually starts squeaking once our Little guy starts to nod off so we have to be careful not to put him in there when he's sleepy otherwise it wakes him up.

Easy assembly. Love the ability to use the app to control from our phones. Already helps our three week old get through fussy periods. Lightweight and easy to move around the house as long as there is a plug nearby. The only thing I would improve is to make the mobile wind up or move automatically.

Bought two of these one for our child and another one for a gift. Not amazed for the price more like a hype to have this brand at home.. my app keeps disconnecting from the mamaroo constantly I have to unplug it from the wall to try again I don't like that you have to plug in something for music might as well keep my phone by with volume up. Overall feels very cheaply made.

We used this more than our swing. Our daughter used it up to 6 or 7 months.

My daughter just attempted to use this for only the 2nd time today (baby is DAYS old) and it quits immediately after starting. I know glitches happen and occasionally a bad product goes out, but failure after only ONE use!? Steer clear.

I was able to buy a used one for $80 which I thought was a steal, but this swing really isn't worth it. This is one of those items that preys upon new inexperienced mothers. It doesn't work very well for its intended purpose and if you did have a child that enjoyed the sensations this product offers you don't get much use out of it because of the low weight limit. My daughter never fell asleep here but she did like to go poo. Rocked it right out of her! So it has that going for it. Not worth it.

Bought the mamaRoo4 for my newborn. She enjoys it a lot. Having the app make it easy to speed up or slow down the speed etc from a distance. My only suggestion would be to add Bluetooth capabilities to allow music from one's phone to be played through the mamaRoo instead of just the aux cord. Lots of new phones don't even have an aux cord jack anymore...

I love Mamaroo and my baby does too! Some parents need to be aware of when to put their babies on Mamaroo, if your baby is crying or stressed.. believe me Mamaroo won't help. It helps my baby when he's already fed but doesn't want to sleep, so I put him on it and he sleeps, or when he's playful I put him on it for around 7 to 10 minutes! I have a question for 4moms, how long I can keep my baby on the Mamaroo? Is there a time limitation that could affect him if he stays longer? Thanks!

I have a grave yard of swings and bouncers that did not work on any of my four children. Finally something that entertains and soothes my baby so sleep!

I bough this a month ago for my nephew he loves it and I love it but the only problem I have with it is that there is no vibration feature that I see on other swings and sets just wish that could have been something that was included to make it worth how much I bought it for

i bought this swing a few years back for my daughter, who didnt enjoy it much, so we used it for maybe a month or 2, and stored it away properly- just the way it came.I just pulled it out of storage to get it ready for our baby on the way, and when in tried to plug the cord into the base, it sparked and started smoking. This swing was barely used, and stored away well. There is no reason this should happen. When i called customer service they said they cant do anything since my 1 year warranty was over. They wouldnt even give me any sort of discount to repurchase the base of the swing, which alone, costs $115! Very frustrated. definitely wont be purchasing any other products from 4moms.

Purchased the mamaroo4 infant seat because of all the ravishing mother reviews I read online. I even had friends recommending that I buy it. After many recommendations and reading all the hype I knew my baby and I just had to have it. I purchased this a month and a half before I was due to give birth just to make sure I didn't miss out on this fantastic product. I gave birth on 10/16 to beautiful baby girl. 2 weeks ago I was ecstatic that we can finally give mamaroo a go! Well, it didn't turn out as the reviews or the recommendations. The baby hated mamaroo. Every time I place her in it she cries. I'm not sure if it's the odd music that sounds funny or the slow rocking that's uncomfortable. As a brand new mother, it's hard financially. I decided to go with this product because I thought it was going to alleviate some stress from having a newborn. Instead, I'm out $200, which I'm still making payments. No comfort and stressed because I have to find an alternative way to comfort my baby. Which also mean, a stressed mother indicates a stress baby. I asked for a refund or alternative option and was turned away cold with no empathy to refer to the return policy. I, being a brand new, financially struggling mother trying to find any product that is going to genuinely help and alleviate some stress. I do not recommend this product or this brand. The customer service genuinely does not care for its customers.

I purchased the mama Roo last week and my baby loves it. I like how it has a modern look to it unlike other baby swings. I also like how it has different swing motions and sounds. The only thing that I do not like is that you have to connect it to an MP3 player/aux cord in order to play music. It does not come with music. It only comes with different sounds like rain, heartbeat, wave, or fan. I have an iPhone 11 which does not have an aux cord like many of the new iPhones. Also, the aux cord that it came with is only about 5 inches long. Doesn't make sense that the swing has a built in speaker but doesn't come with music. It should have about 4-5 songs of some popular children's tones/songs.

There's 6 motions And you will probably end up using one or none (baby doesnt see a difference) ! Why would you make 6 different motions for the seat to bounce and not make the interactive balls move???? Whyyy???? why is this chair so expensive? My experience: My baby did not want to sit in it until she was 2.5 months old... She hated it in the begining, and now she can sit in it for 15 mins max ( she is 5.5 months old). That is just how my baby is. Too bad she hated it. I do not recommended it...

We had the 2015 model and thought it was excellent and effective - but then only a couple of months after purchasing it, it stopped working. We did our best to bring it back to life with the troubleshooting tips and my husband took it apart and tried fixing it but was unsuccessful. After our experience and seeing so many other reviews with similar issues, we were going to steer clear of getting another newer model when we had our second child. We were gifted it, however, and when it gave out a few months after we received it yet again our efforts were unsuccessful. the concept is great but Its just too expensive of a product that doesn't seem to want to work.

you would think that where it isn't a cheap swing it would actually work longer than a few months- wrong. not only did it quit working, the replacement part they sent (a new wall cord) didn't fix the problem. save your money. the customer service help and warranty are garbage.

I was excited when I got this it was great for the first 2- almost 4ish months my baby really did love it! then it started making these clicking sounds LOUD clicking sounds i will not be able to use for my second child.

My baby was born 09-25-19 so 3 weeks today and the Mamaroo stop working, it doesn't hold any of the different movements or any of the speeds ! What a disappointment for such an expensive baby seat ! I thought I was buying top of the line product for my baby ! My bad

We have a very fussy 2 month old baby and its hard to get anything accomplished without her screaming anytime we set her down. The moment we put her in this bouncer swing, she got really quiet. Shes been smiling and staring at the mobile that is attached. She interacts with us as well without being fussy. We've tried to pick her up 3 times now and she screams! We've been replaced by a swing Lol! Im hoping she keeps loving this so I can get a full shower finally! My only complaint is that it doesn't come in my size!!

I bought this because my grandson because I work from home 2 days a week and can't hold him while he sleeps. The motion choices are wonderful and he falls asleep quickly. My problem is I can't play any music for him. My phone won't connect with the cord provided, plus I need my phone while working. It would be nice for the music to work on Bluetooth as well. I could not seem to get through the support section to resolve my issue with the connection. It wouldn't take me to a page for support. Also wanted to mention the seatbelt strap connectors are assembled to go against baby instead of on top of padding

I've had this for almost three months and I've already noticed it doesn't move as fast as it used to, even on the highest setting. My baby no longer likes sitting in this because it's not fast enough. He likes a cheap swing we found at a garage sale more than he likes this. Not worth the expensive price tag to me.
