I have this one and the platinum one. This one the steps aren't as long and are really hard to pull to tighten. They also don't pull out as much so it's harder to get my daughter's arms under the straps. I'm not sure why this is the biggest difference between the platinum and regular and it's not even advertised that way. It's also much harder to install. The latch system doesn't tighten as well and doesn't have the quick button to tighten and loosen the latch system.

It's a great car seat for the price. We have had some trouble the how hard it is to tighten the straps, this is our second extend2fit and the other one did loosen up after a while so hopefully this one does also

Absolutely love the Extend2fit! It's so much more comfortable than the infant seats are. I've noticed a huge difference with my daughter. She is a happier baby in her extend2fit seat! And she spits up less not having to be reclined so much

Beautiful coloring (looks just like the picture) and what a breeze to install. My child loves this seat and falls asleep easily (which is a feat considering she hates the car).

I love this car seat it meets all of our needs. The leg extender allowed my grandson to remain rear facing longer and be more comfortable while allowing his legs to stretch out. The top support padding feels very comfortable and it supports his back, side and head when he falls asleep. The two cup holders are great one for juice and one for snacks. The seat belt buckle holders on each side of the seat makes it easier while loading the baby into the seat. I also love the quick connect seat belt that keeps the car seat in place it is very easy to move this seat from one vehicle to another. This model is very versatile and is a winner ! J. Fanion

Make sure you install on the right recline for size. We love ours!!

I really love this car seat...so much so that I bought 2! (one for each vehicle) My only issue is that I wish the strap to pull belt tighter was a little easier to pull. I love that it is a light color so it doesn't get too hot in the sun. The cushions are easy to move for any spills/messes. I have been recommending this to friends that are looking for car seats for their growing babies!

This product lives up to all of the reviews. The set up is extremely simple, and the guide is very easy to follow. Our previous car seat an Italian brand, and the directions left a lot to be desired. Graco walks you through every option and adjustment to make it the most comfortable, safe car seat we have tried out. It is also remarkably lightweight. For its size, it can quickly and easily be unhooked form one vehicle and moved into another. Great product and great support all around from Graco! Seems well constructed and comfortable. Very easy to install. Only issue is that the straps are a little difficult to tighten- have to use both hands to pull. My son is 16 months and has plenty of room to grow in this while it is rear-facing.

Easy to assemble. Did not have any issues with the belt being difficult to loosen when my child is strapped in like other comments mention. Very happy with my purchase

Got these for my twins, they are nice in appearance, however one of the car seats came defective. The buckle just doesnt tighten, and since we waited to open them because of the holidays and everything else I havent even had a chance to contact Graco. Honestly that is the only reason im giving them 1 star. I have 3 boys, twins, and a big dog. I barely have time to get anything done, let alone add more tasks on top of what i already do.

Some how I received used one instead of new because there are few stains on the seat. definitely this should be rectified when people order online

It is so annoying to tighten the straps! I literally have to use my strength every time!!! I never had this issue with another brand of an infant car seat. Wondering if it is me or what?!?! I get annoyed each and every time!

My only complaint is that it is really hard to get the straps tight. I feel like my daughter is always a little loose in the seat.

It's a great car seat but it's hard to get to the lever to lean the seat back while it's in the rear facing position.

We used this car seat for few weeks and looks pretty good, safe and comfortable for my kid.

Overall it is a nice car seat for the price. Only two things I would change is to make the of tightening and loosening the strap easier and to put the angle adjustment on The opposite end.

The seat is great! The button you have to push down to release the straps is very hard to push, especially when you have small hands. Also, at times the strap you pull to make it tighter, is hard to pull

Good quality and value but it has a problem with slack. Almost no slack in the harness and very difficult to get the slack required for latch system. Also can't recline seat once installed on rear facing.

Seems to be a good car seat. I love how easily adjustable it is for my infant. The "traditional" infant carriers with the base for the car are so hard by comparison to make the straps taller/larger. Much easier with this car seat

Wonderful seat overall. We have three and they are great. Works well for both forward and rear facing. There is a cover over the button to release the straps to loosen them. The cover makes it challenging to adjust the straps. This was not on the extend to fit I purchased a few years ago and I wish it wasn't on the new ones.

Hard to access but to release straps it's hard to get hand in between baby's car seat and the seat.

Easy to install and use. Love the foot rest extender and cup holders. The harness straps are a little less padded than I'd like but it's a great carseat.

My son started using this at 8 months old and it was a smooth and easy transition from his infant car seat! The adjustable recline is very handy as children grow so quickly! I especially love the material and all of the padding.

This carseat is so great! We love the no retread harness! We have our almost 3 year old still rearfacing in this seat and bought one for our 11 month old. The only issue I have is that we are unable to seat my daughter in this forward facing. She's extremely slender and with the crotch buckle where it should be and correct recline, it makes her slouch forward in the seat and puts her in a very uncomfortable position. She's not minding the rearfacing so we may do that awhile longer.

We've really loved the Extend2Fit? Platinum Convertible Car Seat. We've had it for 3 months. It was a breeze to install and we're able to quickly and easily move it between cars. We use the Latch system in both cars so we can't speak to installing it without the Latch. I think the adjustable headrest and harness is a great feature. We haven't had to adjust the incline since buying it and we've always had it rear-facing. Our 18-month old daughter seems really comfortable in it, even on longer trips (3 hours). She likes being able to move her legs and kick her feet. The car seat fits well in my husband's sedan and fits decently in my "compact car" (Kia Soul) if we move the front passenger seat all the way forward. We bought the same car seat for my parents and they like it as well.

We have literally bought 6 of these car seats (one for each kid, for each car we have). They are easy to install?even my 70 year old mother can do it correctly. Kids seem to find them to be comfortable. Love the extended rear facing option. Only thing I would say is that when you go forward facing, you have to remove the pads on the straps. That is not intuitive, so don?t forget to do that!

My grandson loves this seat compared to the one his mommy has. Cup holder was a big deal to him.

The carseat is being used regularly and from what i have heard, its great!! I cant personally testify to it bc we purchased it for our grandson in San Antonio. What i CAN personally testify to is their customer service/complaint resolution department. I will not go into details, but FedEx lost our shipment, and Graco's staff did not let it rest until the issue had been resolved. Even after FedEx basically said that it wasnt their problem. Graco's staff stayed on it and followed through to the fullest until our issue was no longer an issue. Our son and his wife love the carseat, and our grandson seems to be very comfortable when riding in it as well!!

Love this car seat. Bought a cheaper one first and hated how small and difficult it was to get my son strapped in. And my husband said how much easier it was to install. He told me he wanted this one for his car too.

Love it and all the padding. I wish I got this a few years ago for my daughter but you live and learn. My son is 85% for height so this extender will be so nice the bigger he gets!!
