We purchased this seat after using three other seats with our older children. This seat is really light weight, simple in design and function and well made. The materials are quality and are soft. We are so glad to have found this seat. Absolutely worth the price.

My husband and I love this car seat. After shopping around and seeing other choices it is clear that this one was the best. The fabric is ultra soft, the base is very sturdy and substantial. We can see why it has such a high safety rating. It was also very easy to install! Hoping the Nuna toddler seat gets released to the US by the time our child outgrows this seat.

I have LOVED this carseat. It's so lightweight and sophisticated looking. I feel like most car seats are cartooni-sh and heavy and the Nuna Pipa is neither. The sun shade is the stuff dreams are made of as well. My favorite part is that you do not have to have the base to install safely, which saves you money buying a bunch of bases, but also gives you the freedom to have anyone help pick up your kid if you get in a pinch (friends, family, etc.). Great choice!

This is a great seat and we are really happy with it. It is very easy to install and seems very secure/safe when it's in place. The seat is simple to move in and out of the base and it's very lightweight. I love the color (Blackberry) and the Dream Drape feature is amazing - baby can be covered to keep the sun, germs, and prying hands away. I highly recommend this seat.

Love this car seat! It's super lightweight, easy to rock, great, cozy fit for our little newborn, and SUPER easy to install. (We don't have a car so we had to install it in an Uber to get home from the hospital and it only took 2 minutes). Also works perfectly with the Nuna Mixx stroller.

I just received our Pipa car seat yesterday and I am in love with it! Being a first time mom I extensively researched infant carseats before purchasing. I understand that they all have to pass the same standards, but I was looking for something that would go above and beyond our expectations. None of our local stores carry anything close in quality and design to Nuna products in general, I learned about the brand on vacation while visiting a baby boutique. So glad I did!The base was extremely easy to install in my car using the LATCH system. We were considering purchasing two separate bases for both cars, but due to the ease of installation and the fact that I will be a SAHM I doubt we'll have an issue moving the base back and forth when needed. The extra safety measure of the load bearing leg is great. I did notice when I was driving today that the leg rattled a little, but it was only on very rough portions of the road. The rattle wasn't loud or bothersome and I think when the car seat portion is attached to the base there won't be a sound at from it at all. I ordered the Blackberry color and really like the richness of the color and quality of the fabric. I already tried removing all of the cloth and it comes off easily which is great since its machine washable. The fold out sunshade is handy because you have the option to use it or fold it back under the canopy. Sometimes larger canopies get in the way when you're not using them. The canopy is also completely removable which is a great feature that I didn't realize the seat had when I purchased it. it makes covering the seat with winter cover a breeze. The extendable Dream Drape will be nice to help keep away the January chill when the baby is due and also unwelcome advances from strangers. Overall I really recommend the Pipa if you're looking for a well made car seat with an extra safety measure and some cool features.

I was replacing a Teutonia T-35 and wanted something extremely safe and light and this did not let me down! The safety foam is so soft and the canopy is an amazing addition. The weight of the seat is just wonderful, especially with a toddler to hold onto as well.

My main criteria for a carseat is for it to be lightweight. We've done a lot of comparison and this is one of the lightest in the market. It fits my newborn snugly and she always sleep inside the carseat. Love the dream shade.

We purchased this based on the safety features and the sleek design. Not sure if its actually worth the $300 price tag, but since this will be our last child, we decided to just splurge. Yes, its definitely good looking and it seems very sturdy and comfortable. It says that its up to 32 lbs but i highly doubt that. I had my friend's 9 month old sit in it for a test drive, but he looked squished in it. It will probably last for about 6 mths.

My wife and I recently purchased this carrier for our 1st baby that is scheduled to arrive in June. We actually went to visit the NY store to touch, carry, and see the features of the different carriers. The Nuna Pippa was the lightest and seemed most comfortable for a baby - it wasn't bulky at all and we really liked the clean yet chic look it had. The color also matched the UppaBaby Vista we purchased from Albeebaby - we bought the navy blue Nuna Pipa. We would highly recommend this product.

This car seat is great. I am really happy with the quality of the material and it is lightweight which is perfect since it will be used a lot. The base is sturdy but the advantage of the seat is you can use it in other cars without base and still meets safety standards. This product is definitely worth the price.

After much research, we ordered the nuna in sand. We just got it in and it is everything it promises, so far - great material, nice look, dream curtain seems like...well, a dream. Still awaiting or little one, so not sure how she will like it yet.

I absolutely love this car seat. We got it for my third child as the car seat I used for the first two had expired, and I cannot say enough good thing about it. The dream drape is a fabulous feature and I can't say enough about how valuable it is to me to have such a light weight seat that I still know is protecting my baby.

the seat feels very nice and looks like it will be quite comfortable i like how the handle goes all the way back to support the seat while off the base and the sun shield screen with the magnets is fantastic. adjusting the straps is easy enough. the color is great for a husband who refuses to carry anything but black... the base is a breeze to install which is why i purchased this seat. since i don't plan on buying a seat for both vehicles this will save time when the husband takes the baby for the day :)

The install on this car seat base could not be easier. And the Nuna Company has put together a series that makes adding on a snap. At the time of this review it looks like the item is backordered, but Albee Baby had the lowest price. Amazon was asking triple for the same thing and the Nuna website did not have the Berry color. Baby is due any minute now and I can't wait bc this item does not contain the needless and cancer causing chemicals that so many other baby products do.

Works great with the stroller and looks like a comfy nest for my little grandson that's coming in April.

I don't have much experience with this car seat yet but I am impressed already. I hesitated to spend the money on this and would likely have gone with a much cheaper option if I didn't receive this as a gift. It is beautiful! You can tell it is well-made and, while it is not heavy, it doesn't feel plastic-y and cheap either. The fabric is beautiful and it is super easy to install. We put it in the middle seat of our Toyota Prius, where no other car seat ever worked properly. And this one was all set up, secure, and balanced in 3 minutes or less.

This carseat is lightweight yet well made. I love the fact that I can shield my baby from the hands of random shoppers with the cover on the canopy. Easy in and out of the car. I'm sold on Nuna products and can't wait to purchase the stroller.

This was the first Nuna product we discovered (we have since purchased the Sena and Pepp) and are so glad we did. We spent a lot of time researching car seats, especially after spending some time breaking out in a sweat after trying to wrestle a car seat into our car when we were babysitting a relative. We discovered Nuna because they offered a seat with a stability leg and also used Oeko Tex fabric, but were completely sold when we saw it demoed at a local baby shop. I don't always believe manufacturers claims when they say things as "five second install" , but this really does install that quickly and easily! What amazed us about the seat after purchasing it,were all the functional features it offers. It has a nice newborn insert that was extremely easy to use and also remove. People are also always commenting on our car seat and saying they've never seen anything like it and love the features such as the dream drape canopy. It's also extremely light and carry in and out of stores(especially as the baby grows)! The Pipa is easy to use, extremely light and full of thoughtful details that make it an amazing carseat!

I did extensive research before buying our first car seat for our baby boy. It came down to the Nuna Pipa, Maxi Cosi Mico AP and the Cybex Aton 2. The Maxi Cosi was cheaper but I found it didn't have all the features I was looking for (had an uncomfortable carry-handle with no grip and didn't have a bubble level indicator), and then the Cybex Aton wasn't nearly as nice looking in my opinion. The navy is so gorgeous in person and can be totally gender neutral if we have a girl down the road. We loved that the leg makes the seat even safer and the dream-shade is an excellent addition. Overall would definitely recommend the Nuna Pipa. Plus we can attach it to our Bugaboo cameleon and bee with adapters to make it into an easy travel system.
