Just about perfect!
August 14, 2015
Being a Mom for over 13 years and having quite a few kids ;) I've used more than my share of strollers and baby gear! Right off the bat, I can say, there is no 100% perfect stroller that is EVERYTHING, but this one comes pretty close! It has the option of parent face and can FOLD parent facing too! The entire seat reclines, not just the back and I've found my babies like that position a lot better, plus, the footrest adjusts and extends. BASKET, yep, it's quite large, especially when you have the seat parent facing, you can really heap things in! The adjustable handlebar is great if you are a shorter gal (like me ;) ) and the fold is literally a cinch- just squeeze two buttons to flip the seat down and pull up on the fold strap- DONE! (and it folds small!) The hood is quite large (the City Mini GT Double I own has a larger hood- that one has the biggest I've ever seen!) and the peek-a-boo window has MAGNETS! (no wake-ups from noisy velcro!) Lets talk push: SMOOTH with great suspention! (disclaimer: I bought the GT wheel kit, so my tires are all terrain) I can GLIDE over every bump and broken sections of uneven concrete and curb without slowing my stride, takes it all easily, grass and mulch too! For all this you'd think you'd have to pay $$$$$ but the MSRP is reasonable and I actually got it on sale so it was a really sweet deal :) Believe it or not, I got it to replace my well known name brand nearly $1,000 stroller, because the City Versa is sturdier and besides weighing a LITTLE more, it did everything else that expensive stroller did just about equally! As I mentioned, the only thing that keeps this stroller from being 100% perfect in everything, is that it is not exactly very light weight, it's not HEAVY, but it's not an umbrella stroller...but I guess that is what makes it feel sturdy. REALLY love this stroller, I can say it deserves a place right on top with the best of them, it really can take the competition!
