I have enjoyed my Medley baby carrier. I used another carrier for my first two children and it always hurt my back after a while. This carrier distributes the weight on the back and the hips. I was able to wear it for an extended period of time walking and it was very comfortable for both myself and my baby. There is a lot of cushion for the back and baby.My husband and I were both able to use the Medley which we were not able to do with our previous carrier. I liked the extra cover for two reasons, one it was removable to wash easily and two it provided a variety.The one thing that I think would make this carrier even better is a bag of some sort that it could be easily stored in or to pack around until you are ready to use it.

I like that this has the option for my baby to face forward in front of me. She likes to see what's going on. The front has a removable cover that looks cute and can be washed instead of throwing the whole carrier in the washing machine. The part that holds my baby is soft and cushy. I do wish that the back strap around my waist had more to it (cushion or something). It seems like there could be a little more support in that area.

I was initially skeptical about the Medley because I have a super comfortable Ergo. But my 8 month old baby has never liked facing in for very long, so even though I like the Ergo, my baby doesn't last very long in it before she gets uncomfortable. I was eager to give the Medley a try because the baby can face out AND it still has a waist support belt to put the pressure on my hips instead of my back. I gotta say, I'm really happy with the Medley! It is comfortable for me; I can wear it for hours at a time with no problem! And my baby seriously LOVES it, more than the other carriers I have. It's really a great price, and I love that it is lightweight and breathable. I do wish the waist support belt was padded all the way around. But it's still my go-to carrier right now.
