Very nice, but difficult to put together
January 14, 2021
I got this on sale to use mainly as a changing station and bassinet in the daytime so I won’t have to drag my big bassinet out to the living room. Once it’s put together, it’s really nice. However, I found this to be incredibly frustrating to build. This is my 4th baby on the way, so I’ve gone through a lot of different play yards and baby builds, this one was something else. The tension bar for the mattress is rage inducing. I CANNOT get the changing table to snap into place, so that is something my husband will have to do once we’re ready to set it up and leave it. I was hoping to use this at my parents house if they need to keep the baby overnight, since the other play yard I have is very large with no bassinet, but I’m afraid once this is up I won’t want to deal with taking it down and my other is so easy and light. I did manage to get everything in the carrying bag except the changing station, which surprised me because I thought with all the trouble I had building it, it was never all fitting in that bag. Overall, it’s a great play yard and is like the Halo but cheaper. It comes with a muslin sheet, which is really cute and a nice addition. I tried the noise machine/night light because no one seemed to review it other than to say it didn’t work, and guess what? It doesn’t work. No power, no lights, no sound nothing. I probably wouldn’t use it anyway, but don’t bother including it if it doesn’t even work. Hopefully after the baby arrives I will get used to setting this up and be willing to pack it up and move it, but right now I’m still getting over the frustration of the build.
